Thesis Court Day

Jojo took a deep breath. He could only pat his chest slowly, hoping that the plate he was holding did not float into Kai's face.

The boy approached Jojo and Kalingga, he immediately sat down on the chair while glancing at the two people who were looking at him full of threats.

"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?" asked Kai with an innocent expression. Jojo ignores the boy, he continues his busy life and asks Kalingga to sit down so as not to interfere with his path.

A few minutes later, everyone gathered. They can't wait to eat the new dish Jojo made. No more than fifteen minutes, all the food on the table had been exhausted.

"Ah, this is so delicious. Relax and eat well. I'm going to sleep fast tonight" Keenan said as he walked off the dinner table.

Kai helps Jojo clean the dishes and glasses and takes them to the sink. Jojo smelled a suspicious scent of Kai's kindness. The boy no longer asked for pocket money from him but still did good. Jojo thinks Kai has something to keep secret.

"I'm going to wash it" said Kai. He told Jojo to sit down and relax, while he was willing to wash the dishes.

"Is he okay?" kylan asked as he saw Kai busy in front of the sink. Jojo just shrugged, he was suspicious, but would not be able to turn down an opportunity like this.

"I have a job and I have to go back to my room. Go get some rest," pinta Kalingga on Jojo. The man rubbed Jojo's cheeks gently and smiled meaningfully.

"Alright, don't sleep too late, brother."

"I'm going to go to my room, too" Kylan said.

After everyone left, only Jojo and Kai remained in the kitchen. The girl was still watching Kai, waiting for the boy to say his purpose.

After a few minutes passed, Kai dried his hands and sat down beside Jojo.

"Say, what do you want?" ask Jojo to the point.

"Ah, Sister-in-law is understanding." Kai laughed, how could Jojo guess if his kindness was for a reason.

Kai asks Jojo about the University that Kalingga plans to attend after graduating from High School this year. The boy looked excited and curious, making Jojo feel astonished.

"Yesterday you refused and wanted to find a university of your own choice. Why do you want to know now?" search Jojo.

"I changed my mind."

"lik! Tell me honestly."

"A, Jojo. I'm not ready to tell you, it's still nothing" replied Kai convolutedly. But Jojo still tells a lot of what he knows about Kalingga's plan to continue Kai's education to a higher level.

A well-known public university known to spend a lot of money that Kalingga chose for his sister. Besides being a prestigious University, Kalingga wants Kai to get the best place to study.

"Ah you're so nice" said Kai. "By the way, when are you having a birthday? I'll give you a gift as a thank you" he continued.

"Personal business, it's a secret."

"If I don't know when your birthday is, I don't know when exactly I'm giving you a gift. I'm good at keeping secrets, " said Kai.

"Your words can never be trusted!" mummy Jojo.

"alright. What about fruit soup? I'll buy it tomorrow if you tell me your birthday."

"I don't want to. You must have no money" ledek Jojo.

"I'm making a lot of money. How much do you want? One wagon I'll buy."

Jojo got up from the chair and left Kai just like that. It seems that to figure this out, Kai will need even more effort, including more money.

After Jojo enters his room, Kai climbs the stairs and heads to Kalingga's room. He sent notes about Jojo's favorite foods and drinks. The boy also told me that Jojo had never returned home more than a year ago.

"When is he planning on going home?" ask Kalingga.

"Before graduation day. He'll pick them up, he'll also want to book a hotel so his parents can stay at a nice place" Kai explained.

"When is her birthday?"

"I'm looking for information about that one, brother. I bribed him with a box of expensive brownies. Just now that I've reached him with a cart of fruit ice, Jojo still won't confess" Kai complained.

"Purchase whatever he likes to tell you," Kalingga pinta took out his wallet, gave Kai three pieces of banknotes and immediately asked his sister out of the room.

If Kalingga himself asks, Jojo rarely wants to admit even fairly difficult. Because all this time, Jojo always adjusts to Kalingga about the food or drinks they will order when going to restaurants. "Good luck, Brother-in-law," Kai said, hugging Jojo before he left for school.

"Ah, yes. I'll bring you some after work. The spirit!" Kylan embraces Jojo's shoulders and follows his two brothers away.

Jojo and Kalingga left at home. Kalingga intended to take Jojo to his campus at nine, while waiting, he accompanied Jojo to sit and study in the living room. The girl looked very serious with the laptop in front of her.

"May I see your presentation material, dear?" ask Kalingga.

"Hmm, of course." Jojo shifts his laptop and reads books.

Despite the initial hardships of his father's death, Kalingga remained in college after a three-year break due to his focus on working and resurrecting his family's business.

When the economy and financial company began to stabilize, Kalingga finally continued his studies when he was 23 years old. He must be educated enough because he is a big company owner.

"I'll give you a gift on your graduation day" Kalingga said.

"really? I'm getting excited and impatient." Jojo was being anxious.

"By the way, when's your birthday?"

"Why is everyone asking for my birthday?" Jojo asked back.

"Just want to know."

"Sister, are you afraid that suddenly I am thirty years old even though my face is like this?"

Kalingga rubbed Jojo's cheek and grabbed the girl's chin. Now their faces were so close that they could feel the warmth of each other's breath.

The two looked intensely, the longer, the closer. Kalingga lifted Jojo's chin and made the air around feel hotter.
