Giving Surprise

At eleven o'clock in the afternoon, Kylan approached Jojo who was sitting daydreaming at the dinner table. Kylan knew Jojo must be thinking about Olivia. Walking closer, Kylan then sat down at the chair opposite the girl.

"You want to go for a walk?" ask Kylan.

"I'm not in the mood."

"Well, I plan to go to my sister's office and buy her lunch" Kylan said. He got up and intended to leave. But three steps from where he was sitting, Jojo had stopped him.

"Okay, I'm interested." Jojo got up and rushed inside his room to prepare. He asked Kylan to wait for him in front until he finished putting on his makeup.

Kylan laughed loudly at how Jojo was so excited about visiting his busy girlfriend and the many jobs in the office.

Kylan knew Jojo was in a bad mood, and at work, Kalingga must have been anxious to find out Olivia was coming to their house.

In less than thirty minutes, Jojo was ready and met Kylan who was waiting for him. The girl was very happy and excited.

"Kak Keenan's car? Who's driving him?" jojo asked, opening the car door.

"Not a confidant" replied Kylan.

When they finally leave, Jojo decides to take Kylan to a fast food restaurant to buy lunch for them and Kalingga.

At the sight of what Jojo ordered, Kylan gawked. The girl ordered a bucket of kentucky chicken complete with rice and various snacks.

"You have a lot of money" said Kylan, swallowing his saliva. Instantly he was hungry.

"That's the point of hard work" Jojo replied with a smile. He has made quite a lot of money with two jobs at once. The agency paid him the equivalent of a senior model, Jojo also got a bonus from his appearance at an overnight fashion show. So, the girl was already happy with her life.

After checking all the orders accordingly, Jojo and Kylan immediately headed to Kalingga's office which was not too far away. They enjoy the ride while singing together and light dancing.

"Your voice is good" Kylan praised as they reached the office courtyard.

"Don't praise me too much, come on!" take Jojo impatient, he wants to meet Kalingga soon.

They both got out of the car and were greeted by a security guard.

"Good day, sir." The high-bodied security nodded respectfully at Kylan.

"Good day, sir."

Kylan helped Jojo bring the food they had bought, then entered the office building. This four-story building with glass walls facing directly onto the highway looks very special.

"Wow, this is huge," amazed Jojo. This was the first time he had come to Kalingga's office.

"This is nothing compared to the offices of other famous businessmen" said Kylan.

"Don't force yourself to reach for the sky, don't look up too much. You should be thankful that you have more than enough of everything" Jojo said.

"Good, fine. In addition to being a sister-in-law, you will also be a family advisor" Kylan said with a laugh.

They walked quickly to the elevator. A few passersby greeted Kylan and Jojo politely. They all knew all the brothers who owned this company, and everyone also recognized the girl who walked with Kylan as a Carnation model.

After arriving on the fourth floor, Kylan tells Jojo where Kalingga is located and lets the girl enter first to surprise him.

Jojo stood nervously in front of the frosted glass door after knocking. The girl was already impatient to see how Kalingga reacted when she saw it coming.

"Lake in!" Kalingga's loud voice rang out from within, Jojo opened the door slowly and found Kalingga was not alone in the room.

"Jojo" said Kalingga surprised. Her face turned tense and nervous as she saw her lover coming at the wrong time.

"Are you guys busy? If, yes, I'll wait outside" Jojo said. He quickly turned around but Kalingga chased after him.

"Darling, comein. I'll explain" Kalingga said worriedly. He seemed to feel guilty.

Jojo smiled, he touched the hand of Kalingga who was holding his arm.

"It's okay, Brother. Looks like you guys should talk."

"What's this?" ask Kylan. He leaned against the elevator door and saw his brother and sister-in-law in a serious conversation. Kylan caught a sad look in Jojo's eyes.

"Let's go in" Kalingga asked Kylan and Jojo. The man lets his sister in first while he takes Jojo in.

"Wow, what a surprise. We came to surprise but instead we were surprised" exclaimed Kylan, laughing cynically.

Kylan slammed his body on the sofa opposite Olivia. I looked seriously at the woman in front of him. While Kalingga, he invites Jojo to stand in front of a glass wall to talk.

"Why come here? Want to seduce Brother?" ask Kylan. There was an impolite snort from the man.

"I only went to someone who promised both my parents" Olivia replied.

"Sister just promised to take care of you, but he deserves to be happy. Don't make a scene and act like you're in control of everything."

"Have you forgotten who helped your family rise?" asked Olivia with a sharp look.

"Of course we remember. And we will try to repay your family's services as best we can. Don't worry."

Olivia laughed softly, she stared dislikefully at the arrogant Kylan in front of her.

"You can only do it if me and Kalingga get married."

"It's funny. Don't dream too high, because the higher you dream, the sicker you fall."

The sound of long breaths from Olivia, the woman had already restrained herself with the attitude of Kylan who frankly hated her. He glanced at Kalingga, feeling his chest burn as Jojo hugged the man he already claimed to be his.

"I know you're seriously in a relationship with me, brother. So I beg you, finish everything about Olivia. Because you can't let him keep hoping for you" Jojo said, leaning his head against Kalingga's chest.

"I know, Honey. I know."

"I'm sorry if I came at an inappropriate time, I just wanted to surprise you and deliver lunch."

"thank you. I love you more than anything."

Kalingga clutched the girl tightly in his body, no matter the sharp gaze from the other direction that exuded jealousy and hatred.

Kalingga took Jojo in his arms and invited him to sit next to Kylan. While Olivia was already grinding her teeth in annoyance.

"We're getting married soon. So, you must know how it's supposed to be," Kalingga told Olivia.

"It's not funny. You just dumped me? Is this how you repay everything my family did for you?" ask Olivia.
