After reading a short letter from the gift giver, Jojo gulped roughly with two wide bulging eyes.

"Angelina is very understanding" muttered Kalingga.

Even all of these lingerie gifts come from the Carnation brand. Jojo felt a little amused, why should the prize be this funny?

"You're gonna wear it, aren't you, honey?" ask Kalingga.

"Wearing this?" Jojo asked back. It would be strange for Jojo to wear clothes less material like this.

"I'll think about it, honey." Jojo grimacing. He tidied up Angelina's gift and put it in the closet.

As the day wore on, Jojo and Kalingga decided to sit back in front of the television while waiting for the delivery courier to arrive.

"Will Mom be okay?" asked Kalingga in a clean manner.

"certainly, Honey. Your mother is a strong woman" replied Jojo. His heart suddenly returned sad when it remembered Merlinda.

"I still feel there is something to do, a lot of questions that I want to tell Mama. But our relationship has not been good, of course since his departure left us" Kalingga explained in a soft voice.

There was a lot of pain that the man faced about leaving Merlinda. Even though he is an adult, the affection and presence of a mother is still very much needed for him.

Jojo hugged Kalingga, rubbed his back and calmed him down. He would tell me everything if it was time. Even without them knowing, they had already deeply regretted their attitude all along.

After a few minutes of waiting, a food delivery driver arrived. Apparently Kalingga ordered some heavy meals and snacks. The man also ordered food to be sent to the hospital so that his younger siblings would not have to bother.

Jojo sends a lot of messages to Kai, asking how Merlinda is developing.

Kalingga lies down and lends his arms as a pillow to Jojo. For a few minutes, the two were silent with their own thoughts.

Jojo knew it was their first night. But given how Merlinda's condition, making Jojo really not tasteful to do anything.

"Honey," said Jojo while rubbing Kalingga's face.

"Can we postpone it?" ask Jojo. Kalingga looked down and rubbed Jojo's head, he saw a beautiful face that looked tired.

"All right." Kalingga nodded and smiled. He knew that this happiness and sadness came together, but Kalingga himself felt unable to focus when he remembered how Merlinda was at the moment.

The two slept under the same blanket with their bodies hugging each other until morning.

At four o'clock in the morning when the sky was even dark, Jojo left Kalingga still asleep. The woman rushed to clean the house and cooked a lot of food to take to the hospital.

He also cleaned up the rooms belonging to Keenan, Klan and Kai. Just a few days he was not in this house, the wardrobe of the three of them was like a ship that had just been hit by a tsunami storm.

After all the rooms were tidy and the cooking was ready. Jojo went back to the room to clean up. He also prepared all the needs of Kalingga before the man woke up.

"Honey, let's get up" whispered Jojo. He removed the blanket that covered the man's head and rubbed his hair.

"Hm." Kalingga stretched his body muscles. When his eyes opened, he saw the woman he was already smiling at him.

"Life, this is my best morning" muttered Kalingga. Jojo smiled, he pulled Kalingga's hand so that the man would wake up immediately. They had to get to the hospital quickly because Jojo had prepared breakfast for everyone.

"Let's get up!" jojo said while trying to support Kalingga's body so that the man would wake up.

"Give me a kiss good morning" pinta Kalingga spoiled.

"No, take a shower!" reject Jojo. "I'll prepare the food we have to bring, '" he continued.

"Ah." Kalingga pouted, but as Jojo was about to get out of bed, the man immediately stopped him and landed a brief kiss on Jojo's lips. Again the woman had to control her uncontrollably racing heartbeat.

"All right, I'm gonna take a shower." Kalingga smiled brightly, brighter than the morning sun which still shone timidly.

Jojo walked out of the room feeling ungodly. She really still has to adapt to Kalingga's new habits as her husband.

While waiting for Kalingga to take a shower and prepare, Jojo puts food for breakfast into an airtight container. He cooked enough to eat enough for five to six people.

"I'll be there soon. Are you hungry already? I brought a lot of food for breakfast." Jojo sent a message to Kai.

Once everything is ready, Jojo and Kalingga immediately leave for the hospital. They are lucky because this is still not even at six in the morning, the condition of the road is still slow and quiet, making both of them reach the hospital quickly.

After arriving, they rushed to bring all the items to Merlinda's room. Johnathan chose a very luxurious VIP room, complete with all the facilities and various equipment. Because Merlinda condition that requires a lot of medical tools to support his life, then the cost is also very much.

"Sister-in-law, have you arrived?" ask Kai. The boy was already outside the room to welcome his brother's arrival.

"This is for breakfast, quickly invite others to eat," said Jojo as he handed over what he brought.

Jojo and Kalingga enter, seeing Kylan feeding Merlinda porridge.

Kalingga walked over. He saw Merlinda half-sitting and weak. The woman looked pale with messy hair.

"Ma," said Kalingga. His chest tightened, he hugged Merlinda. Engraved a faint smile on the middle-aged woman's face, making her final days feel even more meaningful.

"Mama's okay?" ask Kalingga. Merlinda nodded weakly. The woman smiled and raised her hand to rub the face of her eldest child.

Kalingga was very happy. I don't know how long he hasn't been able to feel the woman's hand.

Jojo approached Merlinda and gently combed the woman's hair to make it look neat.

Keenan and Kylan took Kalingga to another room, it seemed like there was something they really had to talk about regarding Merlinda's true condition.

Merlinda gestured for Jojo to bring her face closer. Seeing Merlinda's lips tremble as if she wanted to say something, Jojo brought her ears closer.

"Take the secret until the time is right" said Merlinda in a very quiet voice.

Jojo nodded with his two teary eyes. His heart ached and was sliced to see Merlinda's condition like this. Although not his parents, he felt very sad.
