Fulfilling Jojo's Desire

After Bu Ani and Pak Danu left, Kalingga and Jojo enjoyed their meal. Jojo looks very happy to see a lot of food in front of him, even though the woman is only eating to taste due to the worry of nausea and vomiting on the faraway island.

Although Jojo does not publicly reveal that he really wants young coconuts, Kalingga is trying to understand the woman. Because Jojo is not the type of woman who will whine spoiled if her wishes are not fulfilled.

Kalingga comes out of the room, he searches for Andra's whereabouts and hopes the boy has a solution for him. While searching, Kalingga noticed the atmosphere around his village, a beautiful place filled with coconut trees and sand this beach is very pampering for the eyes.

"No, no. My wife wants me to do it. Is this my wife's wish or our baby's?" ask Kalingga again. It would be strange if he told a story and asked a twenty-year-old boy who was not married yet about Jojo who was pregnant, but Kalingga had no interlocutors at this time.

"Hmm, my mother said if pregnant women usually want something unusual, even inversely proportional to their old habits before pregnancy, it is commonly called cravings. Maybe Jovanka experienced it" Andra explained.

"It seems better to climb than to knock it down, brother. Because the coconut trees along this coastline have their own function."

"Sir, Kak Kalingga's wife wants to drink young coconut water. But Kak Kalingga can't climb trees and doesn't want me to climb them" Andra told Danu.

"Then you climb it" replied Mr. Danu.

"Me-tear down? Meaning, cut it down?" ask Mr. Danu stammered. Over ten years of caring for the island and meeting hundreds of guests who came, this time Mr. Danu had a guest with a strange desire like this.

"Yes, Sir. My wife doesn't want to trouble anyone. So, let me buy one tree and knock it down."

"How much fruit do you want?"

"Only one, too many is also not good for pregnant women."

For a moment, Mr. Danu was silent and seemed to think. Then, the middle-aged man agreed, but not the tree on the beach, but the one behind the villa. Kalingga was very happy and grateful, he gave a message to Bu Ani to keep Jojo when his wife woke up, because he had to go with Mr. Danu to pick fruit.

Kalingga and Pak Danu brought a medium-sized chainsaw to the back of the villa. They both chose a tree that was quite old but had good fruit.

After knocking down one tree, Kalingga brought some coconuts back to the villa with Mr. Danu.

After arriving back at the villa, Kalingga had seen Jojo and Bu Ani chatting on the edge of the fish pond. Jojo was very surprised when she saw her husband coming with some coconuts. Even the man looked so exhausted with sweat drenching his entire body.

"Darling, I brought something for you" said Kalingga. Jojo is very happy, he thanks Kalinga for fulfilling his wish.

"Have you climbed a coconut tree, honey?" ask Jojo.

"I don't need to climb it, I knock it down in order to get more!"
