There was clearly a look of surprise and disbelief from the four men in the room. Jojo was nervous, he could not bear to keep this secret lingering, while Merlinda's condition worsened every day.

"Mama Kaian's heart rate looks weakened. I called the doctor to check on him" replied Johnathan.

Everyone seemed worried, they let the doctor work and waited patiently. Alongside Kalingga, Jojo unceasingly chanted a prayer. He just wanted the woman to heal, he wanted God to give them another chance to be together.

Seen some doctors were busy injecting some drugs through the infusion hose Merlinda, there is also a direct injection into a vein through his left arm.

Almost half an hour of restless waiting, doctors finally make sure if the patient's condition stabilizes.

The man endured the turmoil in his chest, realizing that losing Merlinda would be painful, but forcing Mama to live in pain was selfishness.

Kai knelt on the floor with both hands hugging Merlinda's feet. Many things that he had not been able to say, about how much hope he could get back together, but in fact it would only be a dream.

Keenan braced himself, he approached Merlinda's face and kissed her forehead.

"Ma, take a break" she whispered slowly.

Although heavy, they all tried sincerely. Giving up is the only way. They should not be selfish in forcing something that they should not.

After Kalingga and his three sisters began to believe in their hearts, there was a loud sound from Merlinda's heart detection device. Horizontal lines are clearly drawn on the monitor screen, indicating their time has ended.
