Preparing for Birth

Kalingga took Jojo down the stairs, even acting as if no one greeted him.

"Sister!" Kai started acting up.

"Honey, it looks like our house has ghosts" Jojo murmured.

"ghosts? It must have been scary in his face" answered Kalingga. They just walked past Kai. While the boy only snorted in annoyance while narrowing his eyes.

After Kalingga and Jojo almost reached the main door, they remembered that the driver was on holiday today. And they definitely need help to bring their groceries.

Instantly, Kalingga asked Jojo to wait and he turned to call Kai who was sitting sweetly in front of the television.

"We're going shopping, you want to come?" tawang Kalinga's.

"It's not the traditional market, is it?" ask Kai first.

"We have to buy the needs of your future nephew. You wanna come?"

"Yes! Of course, I won't refuse" said Kai happily. He cheered and ran up the stairs. The boy went into the room as fast as lightning to change clothes. In less than five minutes, he was back after Kalingga who had entered the car with Jojo.

When Kai sees Kalingga and Jojo sitting in the back seat, Kai opens the front door and sees something strange.

"Where is Brother-in-law's driver?" ask Kai.

"He stood up and asked. Let's get on fast, we'll go to the XXX mall" replied Kalingga. Hearing that, again Kai could only breathe violently. It turns out that Kalingga and Jojo invited him because he wanted to.

"Basic!" mumbling Kai. He immediately closed the door and moved to the side door of the steering wheel.

Since entering college, Kai has obtained a driving permit from Kalingga and received a private car gift for himself from his four brothers including Jojo.

Since then, Kai rarely uses his motorcycle and only rides it when he wants to. Even so, Jojo feels happy because now Kai can replace his personal driver while in a sudden situation.

On the way to the mall, Kai felt his eardrum almost break hearing various Kalingga friendly sentences for Jojo. The boy repeatedly swung his lips to mock Kalingga's seduction which sounded very unqualified.

"It looks like I've gained quite a lot of weight, honey. I also want to buy new clothes to relax at home and breastfeed our children later" said Jojo.

"When you gain weight, my love's weight also increases, dear," teased Kalingga.

"Grooof!" Kai acted as if he wanted to vomit.

"Let's enjoy the ride as if it were just the two of us. Ignore the impolite voices that are heard from the front," Kalingga murmured.

Jojo nodded and smiled faintly. He only glanced at Kai at a glance from the rectangular glass perched above his impromptu driver's head.

After a fifteen-minute journey, the three of them had reached their destination. Kalingga gets out of the car first and opens the car door for Jojo, while Kai only grimaces at his brother's behavior.

"Can I come in?" ask Kai.

"Hmm, of course. Who's gonna help us get his stuff?" ask Jojo back.

"Depends" answered Kalingga. He immediately encouraged his youngest brother to walk first, while he took Jojo to follow Kai.

After entering the mall area, Kai walked and led their shopping route.

"By the way, where's our first destination?" ask Kai.

"Baby supply store. Do you know which side it is?" ask Jojo back. Because he had already circled around the ground floor and had not seen what he was looking for.

"No! Did Brother-in-law forget that I was a virgin? How do I know such a thing," lamented Kai.

"I'm not sure you're a virgin" Kalingga said.

"Sister! How can you think like that? I'm your sister!" kai did not accept. Kalingga thought he was a man like what to lose his virginity at the age of not even twenty years.

"Hey, don't be so hard. The girls are laughing at you," said Jojo. Kai even seemed very serious about responding to Kalingga's comments, he forgot that they were in a public place.

While grumbling angrily, Kai kept walking and got on the escalator. He began walking around the second floor, then found one of the sizable stores selling baby supplies.

"Please come in, I'll wait outside" said Kai.

"You have to come" Jojo asked. He grabbed Kai by the arm and dragged the boy.

"Sister-in-law, I don't want anyone to misunderstand me and accuse me of being a nondescript. The pharmacy clerk accused me of buying a test pack for my boyfriend, so this shopkeeper might accuse me of buying things for my son. They can't see my faith" Kai's protest exploded.

Jojo merely gave a smile and ignored his sister-in-law's almost frothy mouth. Although initially not going well, but when they were in a row of various cute and interesting trinkets about babies, Kai became the most enthusiastic person.

"Will we buy for a baby boy or a girl?" ask Kai.

"Secret," answered Kalingga briefly. Despite knowing the gender of his future baby since Jojo's womb entered the age of six months, Kalingga and Jojo kept it a secret to surprise his three brothers.

"Ah, Brother. I'll choose blue, neutral for women or men" Kai exclaimed. He chose some warm clothes as well as hats and socks.

Jojo and Kalingga are no less happy, they buy a lot of things for their soon-to-be-born baby.

Ten minutes, twenty minutes, until after an hour, Kalingga and Jojo did not come after pushing their wishes.

Kai had even picked out one full basket, while Kalingga and Jojo had almost filled four.

"How many children are you? Why buy so much?" ask Kai. The boy did not know what it was like to be a prospective parent who was welcoming the first child.

Tired, Kai sits on the floor and waits patiently until the two men finish their business.
