Cooperation Contract

At twelve o'clock in the afternoon, Kai had just arrived home and rushed to take a bath and change clothes. He had promised to drop Jojo off and it looked like they would be a little late because Jojo made an appointment at one o'clock in the afternoon, while the two of them just got home.

Jojo and Kai are ready at twelve in thirty minutes. Without saying much, the two of them darted off on Kai's motorbike. Along the way, Jojo is quite agitated. Worry if he is late and makes a bad impression at the beginning of the meeting.

In less than five minutes Jojo has arrived at an office building owned by one of the leading agencies. Agencies that overshadow many artists and models to work under their authority.

After arriving, Jojo asked the receptionist and happened to be waiting. Kai continues to accompany Jojo until the girl enters the elevator.

"Is this gonna work?" jojo asked restlessly.

"You won't know if you don't try" Kai said.

They had arrived in front of the room belonging to the agency leader. Jojo and Kai are allowed to enter together.

"Good day." Jojo greets kindly a middle-aged man in a suit and gray pants.

Recognizing the girl who had just arrived, the man stood up from his seat of greatness and greeted Jojo. The fifty-five-year-old is named Harry, the owner and founder of an agency that has grown over twenty years.

"Jovanka? Welcome, I'm so interested in you."

"Caivan? Are you that?" ask Harry.

Jojo and Kai just nodded. Meeting new people with high positions makes Jojo feel awkward, while Harry looks quite familiar with Kai.

"I didn't think Kalingga could quickly give you my business card. And how did you come with his youngest brother?" ask Harry.

"I work at their house, sir."

"That's right, Kai. You're so lucky" said Harry. Kai just nodded again.

After a stale chatter about Jojo's background, education and his current job, Harry is further amazed that the girl is apparently a maid at Kalingga and Ken Caessa's house. Kai even admitted that Jojo was like his own family.

Without rambling, Harry offers Jojo a cooperation contract so that the girl is willing to become a model under his auspices.

"Looking at how the media has made you a major topic in their news stories over the days since the opening of the Carnation store, I'm sure you can dig your skills deeper" Harry said.

"How long is the contract?" ask Jojo.

"This is the beginning, if you agree, then the first contract only runs one year. Next, we can talk again."

Harry shifted a few sheets of paper in front of him so that Jojo could read more freely. Not only Jojo, Kai is also very curious how Jojo will work for them.

"A pretty attractive salary, bonuses and everything you need we will work on" Harry said again. He seems to have no qualms about recruiting a newbie like Jojo. As a very experienced person, Harry clearly understands and can judge well.

While waiting for Jojo to make a decision, Harry leaves Kai and the girl in his room, while he will be away for a few minutes to take care of some work in the other room.

"Think carefully. It's an opportunity, you can do it, for sure" Kai said in a statement.

In a world system like this, Jojo will be asked to pay a commission of twenty percent of each income. But the agency plays an important role to provide work in the form of catwalks, photoshoots, advertisements, and filming in many events.

Jojo knows he can't count on anyone working alone. He must have something that can take his name out from behind the scenes, and the agency can certainly do it.

"Okay, I'll agree."

"You sure?" ask Kai to make sure.

"It's better to try than just imagine it" said Jojo smiling.

"We'll call you soon." Harry smiled with satisfaction, letting Jojo out of his room.

Kai expected a lot from what Jojo had already worked on. If Kalingga likes the girl, Kai will do anything to get them together. Including helping Jojo achieve his goals.

As the two exited the elevator, a woman with a tall slender body stared unblinkingly at Kai. The woman approached Kai and held onto the boy's arm.

"Hey, Kaivan? What are you doing here?" tanyakanya.

"Oh ...." Kai seemed confused to give an answer, he did not recognize the woman in front of him.

"I'm Callista, did you forget?" ask the woman while rounding her eyes.

"Ah, Brother. Sorry, looks like we haven't seen each other in a long time. I barely recognize you" Kai said with a forced smile.

"It's okay. And ... who is he?" callista asked while looking at Jojo.

"Jovanka." Jojo extended a hand.

"Oh, nice to meet you, Jovanka. Didn't expect that you were the lucky woman who modeled Carnation. I offered to do that position" Callista said.

The atmosphere began to be a bit uncomfortable, Kai rushed to say goodbye to Callista and took Jojo away.

Callista, Jojo feels he has heard the name but it is difficult to remember who he is. His face was familiar and familiar.

After returning home from the agency office, Jojo invites Kai to stop by a cafe. This is a lucky day, Jojo kindly treats Kai as a thank you.

"By the way, I'm like I'm no stranger to that woman" said Jojo.

"Callistas? He's Kak Keenan's ex-girlfriend" replied Kai.

"Do you know why you broke up with her?" ask Jojo.

"He's cheating" Kai replied.

Cheating is a terrible word and uncomfortable when heard or spoken. Keenan did tell about a bad relationship in his past, but the man did not tell the identity of his former lover.

"Ah, what a pity. The beauty of his face is inversely proportional to the beauty of his heart" Jojo murmured.

"You're prettier than her" said Kai. Jojo smiled at the sudden compliment. But just a few seconds later, he realized something.

"You must be praising me because I treat you, right?" search Jojo.

"No. If you don't treat me, please go home on foot. I praise you for being afraid that you might get angry and not give me pocket money" Kai replied frankly.

Jojo just kept quiet while stroking his chest. If they weren't in a public place, I don't know what the girl would do to teach the disrespectful mouth.

With Kai, Jojo seems to be undergoing a sanity test.
