The arrival of Olivia

The woman saw Kai standing at the end of the stairs. He waved his hand and said cheerfully.

"Hi, Kaivan. How are you?" ask the woman. He ran with his hight heels towards Kai.

"What's your brother here for?" ask Kai. The boy's gaze did not show hospitality.

"I just found out that Kalingga has not been in the office for four days due to illness. Has it improved? how is the condition" the woman asked.

"Oh, brother is in the room. It seems healthy" replied Kai. The boy then turned around and walked back towards the living room. He continued eating cereal while the woman standing under the stairs was busy watching the entire area of the house.

Jojo was still pecking near the main door. He was observing a situation that felt uncomfortable here. In view of the way Kai spoke and welcomed the arrival of the woman, there must be something.

"Hey, Kai. Can I go to Kalingga's room?" ask the woman again. Without saying much, Kai simply nodded and turned his eyes to the television screen.

Jojo closes the door again, noticing the woman in a sexy dress climbing the stairs to Kalinga's room. While his curiosity is quite disturbing, Jojo approaches Kai and sits beside the boy.

"Hey, who is he?" ask Jojo.

"Name Olivia. Just ignore him, " replied Kai.

"Kalingga's boyfriend, isn't he?" ask Jojo again. Seeing from the behavior of the woman, he must have really liked Kalingga.

Kai just shrugged, ignoring Jojo's question. Feeling that the boy was reluctant to give an explanation, Jojo decided to go to the kitchen and make orange juice for Olivia.

Inside Kalingga's room, the man was relaxing on the sofa while facing his laptop screen. Working holidays for several days makes his work pile up. Although Kylan had been trying to help him during his illness, there were still many things that his sister could not cope with.

Gts ... Gts ... Gts ...

"Most of all, are you inside?" ask Olivia from outside the room. Hearing the familiar voice in his ears, Kalingga exhaled a rough breath.

The man closed the laptop screen and walked lazily to open the door.

"Hey, Olivia. What's the need?" ask Kalingga.

"Ah, I heard you're not well. So, I decided to visit you. Anyway, I haven't been here in a long time. I miss you all" replied Olivia cheerfully.

"Where do you know I'm sick?" ask Kalingga in wonder. It seems that no outsider knows if his health condition is not good, except Jojo and his sisters.

"From your mother, who else" replied Olivia. "Can I come in?"

"No, we can chat outside" Kalingga refused. He closed the door of his room and walked ahead of Olivia.

Without warning, Olivia embraced Kalinga's sturdy arm. The man did not appear to refuse, or simply accept by force. They walked down the stairs to the living room, where Kai was watching television.

Upon seeing Kalingga and Olivia walking towards him, Kai immediately stood up and intended to return to the room.

"Hey, where are you going?" ask Olivia.

"I'll go back to my room. There are a lot of schoolwork," replied Kai reasoned. Olivia just nodded, she let Kai waltz up the stairs.

"The boy never changed. It's always ironic to talk to me and be indifferent to me" Olivia complained.

Moments later, when Jojo sees Kalingga and Olivia sitting in front of the television screen, he delivers two glasses of orange juice to them. Jojo also brought some biscuit snacks as well as fresh fruits.

"He's the new maid?" ask Olivia when Jojo's back in the kitchen.

"Yes, my mother sent him," answered Kalingga.

"It's still very young. Can he really do the homework? why didn't Aunt Merlinda ask me to help you find a more experienced maid?" ask Olivia.

"He's working well. She was like a babysitter to the four of us. He did his best and made our lives easier, mama must have had a reason to choose him" Kalingga said.

"Ah, so it seems." Olivia nodded in understanding. He was somewhat annoyed when Kalingga really praised Jojo's work.

Olivia told me about her activities in the last few months while visiting Paris. The woman plans to go to Korea at the end of the year to watch a big concert.

Kalingga did not respond too much to every story Olivia revealed. The man just nodded and said as necessary if it was really needed.

Although feeling a little bored with the existence of Olivia, Kalingga did not have the heart to tell Olivia to stop telling stories.

They were in the living room until the evening, while Jojo had finished his cooking task. He returned to his room while waiting for dinner. While lying in bed, Jojo unlocks his phone, seeing dozens of messages and missed calls from Leon.

"Ah, I'm in trouble" murmured Jojo. He banged his head against the bed several times, regretting what he said this afternoon when Leon urged him.

Jojo flips his phone over the table near the bed, opening the sheet of paper Kai had given him.

After reading all the writing in the paper, apparently not only was he being hit by trouble, Kai was also in trouble.

The paper, which contained an invitation letter to the student's guardian, required someone acting as Kai's guardian to come to school. In the letter, the counseling guidance requested a timely presence to discuss the actions Kai had done.

Jojo folded the paper back and lay on his stomach. He covered his head with a pillow. How could Kai be in such trouble. Not only did the boy get a suspension for three days, he was also required to bring a guardian to his school. Then who's coming?

If Jojo tells Kalingga, the man must be furious. There will be no mercy for Kai. But if Jojo is silent, he does not know who to tell Kai to come to school as his guardian. If it involved Merlinda, it would definitely create new problems and would be even more troublesome.

As his mind was filled with various choices, a knock on the door surprised him.

"Jo, how much food did you cook for dinner?" ask Kylan. Apparently the man had gone home.

"What's wrong?" ask Jojo.

"Hurry up, it looks like Olivia's sister is also going to have dinner at our house" Kylan replied.

Jojo quickly prepared the needs of eating and neatly arranged all the dishes he had made. Luckily, his mood was not good enough to cook in portions quite a lot. Just in case he has trouble sleeping and starves in the middle of the night.

Kalingga, Olivia, Kylan and Kai are now sitting on the dining chair. Jojo joined in after making sure all the dishes were ready.

"Did this maid also eat semeja with us?" ask Olivia.
