Jojo glanced at his youngest son, apparently Kai first knew that Kalingga had feelings for him. That is, Kalingga really mean it.

Hearing the question from Kai, Jojo's heart ached. Why should there be this feeling between them?

"You know, you're Big Brother's first love. She's never been close to any woman, not even Sister Olivia can pull it off." Kai spoke but remained focused on the book before him.

"Didn't you like Brother? Or is there someone else you like?" ask Kai. Jojo shook his head weakly, the girl looked dreamy.

"Sister has done so much for her sisters, she sacrificed everything for us. Is there anything less than it?"

"Maybe you think Big Brother is a little different from other men. She is not as good at seducing girls or giving attention as others. Because Big Brother never did it, his whole life, he just focused on working and making sure we live a decent and fulfilled life. He doesn't know women."

Jojo listened carefully, he knew clearly how Kalingga was. Since the first time he came to this house, the man had always ignored his presence and behaved indifferently. Even Jojo had once thought that Kalingga was not comfortable with his existence.

"Do you like Brother Keenan more than you like Kak Kalingga?" ask Kai again. The boy seemed to need more certainty.

"I love you all" replied Jojo. Kai thunts. The sentence was like a lie, if Jojo loved him, why he always scolded Kai and acted fiercely. But Kai did not argue, he did not want to lose his pocket money.

"Tell me honestly, Jojo. It's a serious matter!" insist Kai. "Who do you like best? Or rather, the one you love?"

"Is that important to you? While I don't even know if I deserve to love someone who has everything, I don't even have anything. I'm a maid, poor, son of a farmer. Am I worthy?"

Jojo's question made Kai shut up for a moment. Apparently the boy was beginning to understand why Jojo always restricted himself from his older brothers. The girl just felt different based on social status.

"So, you feel unworthy? Not deserved?" ask Kai. Jojo nodded, indeed that was the dividing line between him and Kalingga. Whatever relationship they will try, will not work according to him.

"Is it just because you're a maid, you don't deserve to be with a businessman like Kak Kalingga or an artist like Kak Keenan? That's not a difference Jojo. Love brings everything together."

"It's not that easy, Kai."

"Do you like Keenan?" ask Kai. Jojo shakes.

"Do you like Kalingga?" This time Jojo was silent. Kai could only nod in understanding.

"No one will protest even if you are from a different social status. Nobody will care, Jojo. Me and the others have never looked down on you in this house."

"You don't understand, Kai." Jojo threw his body on the bed. Kai won't understand how he feels when Merlinda warns him and assumes he can be the future destroyer of his children.

For a moment, Kai fell silent. He knew that Jojo was a stubborn man, but the girl was soft-hearted and had strong principles of life.

After completing his task, Kai asks Jojo to check his answer. The boy observed Jojo's gloomy face, as if there were a lot of heavy burdens to carry, but he still looked strong and cheerful every day to take care of his foster children. Kai sees a business card on the table near Jojo's sleeping lamp. The boy took it.

"What's the problem with just being worthy and worthy?" ask Kai again. The boy really won't give up.

"Hm."

Jojo looks up, looks at Kai and catches what his youngest son is saying. All these problems were simply because he was a maid, lacking, and not comparable. Jojo only needs to prove that he is worthy of being with a male figure like Kalingga. The girl still had a chance to turn Merlinda's insults into something proud.

"Call that number, tell me that tomorrow afternoon you'll come to his office. You can change everything!" exclaim Kai.

It's quite unexpected, Kai even had a genius mind that Jojo never imagined. Without waiting for long, Jojo calls the number on the business card, the girl makes an appointment and will come to the agency office tomorrow afternoon.

As National exam day draws near, Kai goes to school only to focus on having daily practice. The boy promises to return home in time and takes Jojo to the agency.

"Don't feel inferior if you're still capable. You're talented, educated, multitalented. Don't let people look down on you just because you're a maid. If anyone still insults you, I'll rip his mouth out!" yell Kai solemnly.

Jojo just gave a smile, he felt very lucky to have Kai. The boy had initially completely rejected his presence, putting him under pressure every day for making trouble so often. But the more days, they are more compact and understand each other.

"Hey, you're the best. Thank you for supporting me" said Jojo. He was embracing the shoulders of a boy whose body was bigger than his.

They then chat a lot about what Kai knows about the working system at a model agency. Little does Kai know, because Keenan used to be at the same agency and Kai often accompanied his brother away.

The next morning, Jojo prepared breakfast eagerly. He made capcay gravy and sweet sour gurame for his three foster children.

The morning Jojo was cooking, Kalingga came to see the girl before the others woke up.

"Hmm, that's delicious. What are you cooking?" ask Kalingga. He stood behind Jojo and placed his chin on the shoulder of the girl who was busy cutting vegetables.

"Sister, don't be like this. What if your sisters see it?"

"No problem."

"Sit there!" throw Jojo away while moving his shoulder because it is uncomfortable. Even Kalingga's breath sounded loud in his ears.

"Jo, please don't shy away from me, don't stay away from me, and don't be indifferent to me. You made me unable to sleep and not**** dine," lamented Kalingga.

"You sure? Didn't you eat dinner last night with a large portion?"

"That's because I'm hungry."

"Just like!"

Jojo shifted his place to stand before anyone else saw them. He continued to shy away from Kalingga who tried to approach him. The man will never give up, no matter how far Jojo moves, he will try hard to pull the girl closer.
