Aslan's Request

For the sake of the happiness of the pregnant mother and fulfilling the wishes of her unborn nephew, Keenan willingly went in the middle of the night to buy brownies.

Feeling tired and sleepy does not make him ignore Jojo. Anyway tonight Kalingga is overtime because he can not take care of shipping goods abroad because of the filming schedule of advertisements that are quite long. Forced, Kalingga took over the task he was supposed to do.

The distance of the house and the cake shop is not too far away, lucky he has Angelina. The woman was always reliable even in precarious circumstances.

"One brownie chocolate topping cheese and almonds" Keenan said to the store clerk. Apparently the store was almost closed and only one male employee was left standing guard.

"This, Sir. Did you take Miss Angelina's order?" ask the employee.

"True, sorry to bother with these nights," said Keenan politely.

The employee forbade Keenan from paying for the brownies he ordered, and the employee also gave some doughnuts in packs to Keenan. He told Angelina to give it all to Jovanka.

"Thank you very much."

Keenan left after getting what he was looking for. He immediately spurred his car quickly to return home, Jojo must have been waiting for him and will not be able to sleep before his wish is fulfilled.

Only fifteen minutes later, Keenan had reached home. He left his car in the yard without putting it in the garage. With a thousand steps, the man ran into the house.

"This is the brownie you ...." Keenan stopped his sentence when he saw Jojo had fallen asleep in the living room chair.

"Ah, this torments me," muttered Keenan softly. He sat down limply on another chair while scratching his head.

"Sister makes it full of happiness, while I share the distress," he said.

There was nothing else he could do but secure these brownies into the refrigerator. It's impossible to wake up a sleeping Jojo.

After bringing the brownies to the kitchen, Keenan returned to the living room and ate some doughnuts. He was starving to drive fifteen kilometers in the middle of the night just to comply with his nephew's wishes.

Seeing Jojo curled up in the long chair, Keenan could not bear it. He wanted to carry Jojo and take her to the room, but he felt it was rude. Jojo is his brother-in-law, and he once secretly put his heart on that woman.

After a long time of thinking, Keenan finally picked up a blanket in his room and covered Jojo's body. He also accompanied the woman in the living room while playing mobile phone.

"You're a good brother, Kalingga," praised Aslan. "Ah, I feel like I have to say this, I've been thinking about it for days and wish you'd cooperate with me" he continued.

Kalingga scrunched his forehead, from Aslan's unusual gurgles and words, Kalingga suspected that something bad was going to happen.

"Are we not discussing working hours cooperation, sir? It's midnight and my wife is definitely waiting at home" Kalingga said. His premonition is bad.

"Please listen to me, Kalingga. It's about April and your sister."

"My sister? Keenan?" ask Kalingga.

"Yes, you know that April really likes Keenan, and I wish they could get married. But so far, I've been monitoring and seeing if there's no development in the relationship between them. I also saw Keenan always stay away from April, why is that?" ask Aslan.

"My sister's relationship is none of my business, sir. He is free to be close to anyone he likes and stay away from anyone he doesn't like!" kalingga.

"Can't you talk about this with Keenan? We work together, I help you market all your products overseas, can you help me?" ask Aslan again. He continued to convince Kalingga that the man would persuade Keenan.
