The Cunning Sister-in-law Candidate

Ever since Kalingga expressed his feelings, Jojo slightly avoided the man. But his efforts are always defeated with the rigors of Kalingga's determination to approach him. After all, they lived under the same roof and always met. Jojo even has more trouble thinking clearly when Kalingga is nearby.

If Kalingga's job is free, the man always took the time to return home every nine o'clock in the morning to take Jojo to his campus. And he'll be home at three in the afternoon so he can meet Jojo early.

Almost a week ago, Kalingga really made Jojo nervous. The man had strong intentions, yet still did not have the courage to take any serious action.

Tonight, Kalingga could not get home early and had to overtime to take care of a lot of things in his office. Jojo now only enjoys dinner with his three foster children.

"How's your script?" asked Keenan between their meals.

"Lumayan drains energy and mind, Brother. My guidance counselor is a bit complicated, I have to work hard again" complained Jojo. Already the last few days he could not focus on learning and resulted in the submission of his script always upset the lecturer.

"Eagerness, Jo. You'll graduate soon" interrupted Kylan.

"Are you leaving after college?" ask Kai. Suddenly everyone stopped eating. Keenan and Kylan looked at Jojo waiting for an answer.

"It is still unthinkable how the future will be," replied Jojo. He really wants to return to his hometown and utilize the knowledge he has gained during his education.

Jojo lives in a village that has a considerable distance from the health center and even the pharmacy. The girl only aspired to build an apothecary and make the surrounding citizens could easily obtain medicine without having to go far. But his feelings are tied up in this house.

"I'll be sad if you leave" said Kylan. His face showed a real feeling.

"Who will take care of us?" ask Kai.

"You're all grown up. Later when Brother gets married, his wife will help you. Take it easy," said Jojo trying to entertain his three foster children.

"not necessarily. Let alone the wife, the boyfriend just brother has not had," asloh Kylan. Kai could only blink a quick eye while smiling at Jojo.

"You're the one getting married, brother. Girls have a lot in line for you" said Jojo glanced at Keenan.

"No! The eldest brother will marry first. Don't disturb the peace of my life" Keenan refused.

"Is the ex still shadowing your life, brother?"

"It's not about the ex, Jojo."

"Then what, brother? The ex is not a hero, they are not to be remembered" joked Jojo. Kylan and Kai laughed at his brother.

Keenan could only gawk while continuing to eat. In a few months Jojo will soon have a thesis hearing, if he succeeds, then the girl will graduate soon and get a college degree. Everyone becomes worried when thinking about how Jojo steps in the future, will the girl leave?

When Kalingga was not at home, Jojo did feel freer because he did not see the strange look of the man. However, it was as if something was missing from his pleasure. Usually, the five of them are always together. Talk about many things, from important to meaningless. Although usually Kalingga is not too fond of arguing, but he is always a good listener and referee when the debate atmosphere starts to be fierce.

After dinner ended, Jojo was busy helping Kai with his school PR in the living room. While the girl thought hard looking for answers to the problem sheet in front of her, Kai was instead cool to spend chips in a jar.

"Kai, don't you remember how to solve this?" ask Jojo. Mathematics is very annoying.

"No," Kai replied with his mouth full.

"Stop eating or do it yourself" said Jojo. He closes the jar and removes it from Kai's lap.

With a heavy heart Kai can only obey the orders of his nanny. Otherwise, there would be a hurricane that would make their entire house noisier.

"By the way, what time did you come home?" jojo asked with a clean sliver. Kai ignored her, the boy just shrugged and remained busy solving the problem.

"Tumben once Brother until overtime. Usually always come home late." Unconsciously, Jojo complained to the wrong person. Kai looked up, looking at Jojo with curiosity.

"Hmm, do you miss him?" ask Kai. He smiled with a mocking look.

"Basic, kepo!" exclaim Kai. This time he can tease Jojo with his mainstay sentence.

"Kai!" Jojo hit the boy's shoulder hard. Kai's laughter exploded realizing Jojo's face was met red with embarrassment.

"If you're always kind to me and don't like to nag me, I'll make you my sister-in-law. How's it?" asked Kai to make an offer. What a crafty sister-in-law.

"I'm not interested" replied Jojo indifferently.

"really? Are you sure you're gonna turn down this lucrative offer?" ask Kai. "You know, there are a lot of women out there lining up and fighting for Kak Kalingga's attention. If you're willing, I'll help you" Kai pleaded. The sentence sounds very convincing, but Jojo is not interested in it at all.

"Listen to me, Bastard. Isn't there a more interesting offer than being your sister-in-law? Like buying me a year's worth of junk, or a ticket to the movies a year, right?"

"I wonder who the lucky lady will be your sister-in-law. If the prospective wives of your three brothers know that their partners have a sister like you. I'm sure they'll step back slowly" Jojo said.

Kai gulped at Jojo's words.

"Oh, Jojo. Your words are cruel!" kai said with a sad face made up. The boy half stood up and raised his hands like a man praying.

"Come on, stop making drama. I have to take care of my college work. If you're done, I'll go back to the room" Jojo said.

"Wait, wait. In a moment, you're beautiful. Don't be mad." Kai smiled widely and stopped his charade.

Jojo could only shake his head slowly. In his heart he prayed, may he be kept away from people with models like Kaivan. It would really ruin his life.

After almost an hour of sitting with Kai and helping with his homework, the boy finally got it done.

"Thank you, sister-in-law."

"Stop calling me that!" exclaim Jojo. Kai did not care, he carried his bag and climbed the stairs with a mocking laugh.

With a bad heart, Jojo went into his room and did some college assignments that must be completed immediately. Being a student at the end of the year will be very busy and tiring. But Jojo still tried hard to finish it without neglecting his work.
