MY FOSTER SON

MY FOSTER SON
Around the Village

The first day at the home of his future father-in-law, Kalingga was only asked to rest and spend time eating village cuisine along with various other ancient snacks. Kalingga is very happy, he did not expect that Jojo's parents were very good. If only his parents were like this too, he would be happier because there was no need to worry about his idol.

Early in the morning, Jojo goes into Kalingga's room and intends to wake the man up. But when he entered, Jojo already saw Kalingga finished bathing and dressed neatly.

"Sister, I don't think you're awake yet" said Jojo. He sat on the edge of the bed and saw the room was back neat.

"I had to get up early and get a good image as a dream daughter-in-law. I won't disappoint my future in-laws" Kalingga replied excitedly.

"We'll have breakfast soon, after that I'll take you for a walk around the village."

"You're going to show off your handsome future husband to all corners of the village?" ask Kalingga.

"It's self-confidence," Jojo's mind. But he did not say it, and only smiled at Kalingga's question.

The man asked a lot about each photo hanging on the wall. Jojo happily tells the man about every precious moment that happens to be immortalized in the form of a picture.

A little while later, Jojo's mother came and took the two of them to breakfast.

Although he lived all his life in the city area and surrounded by modern food, Kalingga did not mind tasting all the food cooked by his future father-in-law. The man even blatantly praised the enjoyment of every menu served. No wonder Jojo is also good at cooking, because his mother has amazing cooking skills.

"Is our shop closed, ma'am?" ask Jojo.

"Mother closed it because our employees got married. Since you guys are coming home, maybe the store will close for a few days so that Mom can be at home" Asri explained.

"Let me wait for him, ma'am. Coincidentally I will take Kak Kalingga for a walk in the morning, after which we will open the shop until the afternoon. We don't have any activities at home" Jojo explained.

"After a walk, at home, son. You guys have worked a lot in the city, use the time here to rest" said Jojo's father. Fifty-five-year-old Narjo feels bad if his son and future son-in-law are busy helping his work.

"It's okay, sir. I'm also happy if I can help." Kalingga. By force, Asri and Narjo allow.

After breakfast, Jojo pulls out a motorcycle from a small garage next to his house. He asked Kalingga to piggyback on him and take a walk around the village.

This beautiful village flanked by mountains on the right and left makes Kalingga happy. The sunny yet cool weather with rice fields and fields along the way makes the mood of Kalingga calmer. He can forget all the hustle and bustle of work problems and busyness, he wants to calmly spend time with loved ones.

"Handle, I don't want to take responsibility until you fall" Kalingga said.

"I'm not going to fall, brother. I'm holding your shirt" Jojo replied. Both of his hands were holding the ends of Kalingga's t-shirt.

"You've fallen in my heart over and over again. Falling down this path is more painful. Hold it right!"

"Basic!" mummy Jojo. In the end, he wrapped both his hands around Kalingga's stomach, making the man even more happy and smiling with satisfaction.

They surrounded the village, looking at the rice fields and watermelon fruit plantations. A few people who recognized Jojo also greeted as the girl passed by.

After being satisfied around, Jojo took Kalingga to a convenience store located not far from his home. The store sells a variety of staples, from rice, corn, sweet potatoes to kitchen spices. In addition, the store also provides school equipment and various small household needs.

"Who used to keep the shop?" ask Kalingga.

"Father and Mother, but I also asked them to hire two employees to help."

"After walking around, this store is one of the largest and most complete stores in the village. The sales outlook must be good."

"Yes, Brother. It's a gift to both my parents. I want them to relax in the old days, because all the necessities to buy things and so on are arranged by the employees. Dad and Mom just sit down and manage the finances" explained Jojo.

"You also bought rice fields?" ask Kalingga.

"It's an old-age investment. Belongs to my father and mother in exchange for their rice fields sold for medical expenses. That rice field was rented to someone else, I don't allow you to work in the fields anymore."

Kalingga smiles proudly and embraces Jojo's shoulder. He is very happy to get a wife who has the same thoughts as him. Jojo is so masterful of the criteria as the ideal woman for Kalingga, that the girl is more than he expected.

As they were chatting, a man came into the shop. He saw Jojo and Kalingga with a strange look.

"Alvian, long time no see" said Jojo. He got up from the chair and approached the man.

"Jojo," muttered Alvian. He saw the beautiful girl approaching.

"How are you?" alvian asked as he extended a hand.

"Okay, how are you? I hear you, now you work in town."

"Ah, yes. Did Aunt tell you that?"

"Yes, I always tell you about you."

Alvian smiled and nodded. He threw a glance at the man sitting behind the desk of the employee who was playing mobile phone. The man felt his heart being sliced, knowing the girl he had been waiting for for years had come home with a future husband.

"So, now you're successful, yeah. I'm proud to see you on television. I'm glad you're finally home" Alvian said.

"thank you. It's good to see you again, Alvian."

"Is he your future husband?" ask Alvian. His face began to get serious, he placed one of his hands on Jojo's shoulders and stared at the two glowing eyeballs he had admired for a long time.

Jojo nodded and smiled slightly. For some reason, he felt that he had hurt the feelings of the man before him.

"I knew. I'm sorry to make you uncomfortable because I'm hoping that whatever you're planning, will go well in the future" Alvian said. He rubbed Jojo's hair gently and ended up with a touch on the cheek. In just a few seconds, Jojo dodged. He slightly retreated and moved away from Alvian.

From a distance, Kalingga felt the heat billowing around him. The man tried not to look and close his ears, but Alvian's attitude and the man's perspective, showed different feelings for Jojo.
