Opening Stalls

The opening session and the short interview are over. Kalingga allowed his guests to enter and browse the latest women's fashion collections produced directly by his company.

As a new person, Jojo certainly feels awkward among big guys like this. Luckily, Angelina came and accompanied him in a chat to relieve his nervousness.

"You look cool with all this collection, Jo. You're talented," praised Angelina.

"Sister, I didn't even expect to be able to do this. If I can be honest, I keep a lot of photos of you on my phone as an example so that I don't feel stiff in front of the camera" said Jojo timidly. Clearly, he admired the figure of the beautiful woman in front of him.

"You can do it without me. It's really amazing. It's not wrong that the Ken family chose you."

"Yes, I can do it too thanks to the four of them, brother. They support me."

They chatted for a long time until Keenan suddenly arrived. The man invites Jojo to meet one of his friends who is interested in the talent that Jojo has, of course, visual support is an important point.

Keenan's friend is also a producer, while chatting lightly, the person offers Jojo to become the star of an advertisement for one of her beauty products.

"Ah, it seems like this is too fast. But, I am still new and need a lot to learn before going any further."

Jojo refused politely and subtly, not wanting to offend the good people who already believed in him. The girl only lacks confidence if she goes further without preparation. After all, he was already quite busy taking care of his four foster children and a busy college schedule.

"Why did you refuse that offer?" ask Keenan. Though the man thought that Jojo's step would be easier if he began to penetrate the world of advertising on the glass screen.

"If I accept the offer, the four of you will not be taken care of. Besides, my college activities are crowded, brother. I love my job for you, being a model of your company is also just to help" Jojo explained.

Keenan is not out of thought, a tempting offer even rejected outright by Jojo just because he prefers his job as a nanny.

Keenan praised the consistent and responsible attitude of the beautiful girl in front of him. Jojo is like two different people in the kitchen and out of the house. The girl had her own aura of beauty to captivate anyone's eyes.

As the day wore on, Kalingga was very busy with guests and business associates who came to look around and congratulate him. Kylan was busy spreading his charm while Kai faithfully accompanied Kalingga around.

This spacious two-story booth not only gives people more space to walk around and see whatever they want. This white building-shaped booth is equipped with several cashiers, including several changing rooms and toilets.

All clothes are neatly arranged based on their color and model. The entire work involving this booth was taken care of directly by the four brothers. In a way, Jojo helped to give an opinion.

On the opening day, Jojo served as a cashier with Keenan when some friends bought some clothes. They are so compact at work and greet the people who come with a pile of clothes in hand.

Unexpectedly, the first sale on opening day actually almost spent half of the collection displayed in the store in just three hours. Everyone is excited about the hard work of this family.

While waiting for the cashier, Jojo and Keenan joked and chatted a lot. Keenan continues to tease Jojo because now he will become famous after his photo spread in various magazines.

Faintly, Jojo seemed to see someone he knew walking among the people walking back and forth looking at the clothing collection. The middle-aged woman dressed in black knee-length with a fur coat. Jojo is not sure, but the woman looks like Merlinda.

"Sister, you wait here. I'll be right back" Jojo told Keenan. Without waiting for the man to give an answer, Jojo hurried away to catch up with Merlinda.

Jojo tries to find Merlinda amid the many guests who fill the booth. The girl also repeatedly stopped her steps when there was someone greeting her kindly.

"Ah, fine." Jojo feels disrespectful if he refuses, but he is afraid of losing track of Merlinda who is getting swallowed up by the crowd.

After some photos were taken, the man thanked her and shook Jojo's hand. The girl did not have time to answer a few questions and immediately said goodbye.

Unfortunately, the girl lost Merlinda. Jojo believes that the middle-aged woman he saw was Merlinda. He did not know if one of his foster children invited Merlinda. But he would be happy if Merlinda wanted to see her children when they gathered like this.

"What's right here?" kylan asked as he patted Jojo on the shoulder as he looked at the girl in confusion. "Who are you looking for?"

"Hey, didn't you see your mama?" ask Jojo back.

"Mama? I didn't see it. After all, who cares" Kylan said flatly. Jojo let out a long sigh seeing that Kylan's attitude had not changed.

"It's like I see it here. But ...."

"Here you go, there's no way he's got time for this kind of useless thing" Kylan said. Anything related to Merlinda, always makes four brothers suddenly behave unusual.

Jojo walks back to the cashier's place, but Kalingga stops the girl's steps to accompany her around and welcomes some guests who will say goodbye.

Without being awkward, Kalingga grasped Jojo's fingers and took him to meet some friends. The handsome man seemed to want to tell everyone if the girl beside him meant so much to him.

Jojo follows wherever Kalingga's footsteps take him. The night, the visitors are less. Kalingga takes Jojo upstairs and greets the people there.

"A comfortable place" said Jojo as they both reached the balcony, a place designed like a mini garden with some hanging flowers and a collection of sanseviera.

"I didn't expect everyone to be so enthusiastic on opening night" Kalingga said. He is happy and proud because his efforts are not in vain.

Jojo raised Kalingga's hand which was still tightly grasping his fingers. The girl clasped Kalingga's hand with both hands.

"No result betrays effort, brother. You work hard to make your dreams come true. You've worked hard, building a little hope for the people who love you."

"You are an influential person in my endeavors, Jo," said Kalingga.

Again, Jojo makes Kalingga hypnotized. Is this feeling called love?

"Am I really in love with you?" inner Kalingga.
