Mild Punishment

Keenan asks Kai to tell her honestly what he promised Jojo until she helps him.

"I asked him to mop the floor every time he went home from school and wash dishes after dinner for a week" Jojo said before Kai answered first.

Kalingga looked at Jojo and Kai in turn. Both are full of guilt. Kalingga knew, the two of them must have been very afraid if he gave the punishment.

Although the actions of Kai and Jojo are not justified, Kalingga does not have the heart for both. However, Kai's actions aren't entirely wrong either, he helps his struggling friend. "That's all?" asked Kai with round eyes.

"Yes, is that all?" ask Jojo too.

"If you feel it's too light a punishment, we can add to it" Keenan said.

"No, no. I thank you for your kindness, I love you all," said Jojo happily. He smiled cheerfully as he clapped his small hands. The girl breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she would lose half of her salary because of this.

"I love you all too, thank you, brother," said Kai. He grimaced and hugged Keenan's body beside him, alternating with his other brother. Although he was in the law, but he could still enjoy his allowance without a cut.

"Just calm down, Jo. I'd be happy to take you shopping at the mall every week. I can help you," continued Kai.

"Hey, who said you'd shop at the mall. You will buy all the essentials in the traditional market. You have to shop every Sunday, because it would be better if the fish and cooked meat are fresher" said Kylan.

"OK, not a problem" replied Jojo.

It doesn't matter to him to shop anywhere. After all, this was not a severe punishment like he and Kai had thought. So, he accepted it with pleasure.

After dinner, Kai does his job as promised. He was in charge of washing all the dishes and glasses they had just eaten, while Jojo wiped the table clean.

Tonight, they feel saved. Jojo doesn't lose half of his salary, and Kai can happily enjoy his pocket money.

After his second job is done, Kai returns to his room, while Jojo watches television with Keenan in the living room. He was bored if he had to watch television alone in the room without friends chatting.

Incidentally, the film that aired tonight was a romantic film starring Ken Caessa as the main character. Jojo enjoys the film while Keenan feels awkward, because he has to be friendly with his co-star.

"Sir, is it fun being an artist?" ask Jojo.

"In what way?" ask Keenan.

"In all things, what does not please you?" ask Jojo again.

"The pay of an artist like me is pretty high. What else if the film I starred in got a good appreciation and a big profit. Of course I also get bonus money and popularity. But being popular is also not that fun" Keenan replied.

"I can't live my life the way I want. Too many people interfered, I almost lost my personal life. The media always tell me everything about me, and where can I have privacy?"

"I even had to go quietly with my face covered so that many people wouldn't recognize it just to watch a movie or hang out in a cafe. Otherwise, the person who recognized me would come and ask for autographs, take pictures, ask various questions. When can I enjoy my time?"

Keenan just smiled, then asked Jojo to tell him about the man who met them this morning. Clearly, Jojo tells her who Leon is and what the man wants from her.

Jojo also told me if he had rejected the love of the man many times. The girl insisted on not being in a relationship with any man before she graduated college and made her parents happy.

Jojo is afraid that he will be heartbroken. Jojo is afraid of being hurt. He prefers to love himself by doing everything he likes. Not trying to make others happy who are not necessarily able to make themselves happy.

"It's been a while, she's been having an affair with my co-star in a movie I starred in that year" Keenan replied.

"You know, brother. I also aspired to be a model" said Jojo. She smiled shyly while saying that. Hearing Jojo's confession, Keenan immediately turned his head and looked at the girl.

"You can ask Kylan to take a picture of you" Keenan said.
