Nine Lives of Kylan

Every two hours, Kalingga wakes Jojo up to breastfeed their baby. Kalingga has also contacted Jojo's parents and reported the birth of their first child.

Early in the morning, Keenan and Kylan had to go home to change clothes because they had to work. While Kai, he went to campus later in the afternoon directly from the hospital.

From night on, Kalingga did not even close his eyes at all in order to wait for the baby. The man looked very tired but was still excited.

"Sister, you can sleep. I'll wait for my Sister-in-law and Nephew" Kai said. He could not bear to see Kalingga with a black circumference in his eye area.

"Yes, Honey. Go to sleep," pinta Jojo. Kalingga had been awake from them to the hospital until morning, and Jojo would be increasingly worried if her husband was exhausted and lacking rest.

As Jojo and Kai continued to press, Kalingga finally went to the guest room and laid down his extremely tired body. The man fell asleep quickly and slept well.

"Sister-in-law, do you want anything?" ask Kai. He sat in front of his nephew who was asleep in a baby box peeling an apple.

"No, didn't you go to college?"

"Later in the afternoon" replied Kai. "Oh, yeah. Does Brother-in-law know what happened to Kylan? He's been looking restless since he woke up" he continued.

"Yesterday he went with Sunny from noon and did not come home until night. Is there a problem?" ask Jojo back.

"Something." Kai shrugged his shoulders.

"Did Sunny reject it?" jojo asked. But he doesn't want to say anything to Kai, worried that he'll make fun of Kylan later.

Kai handed Jojo the apple he had peeled, and he also provided water and milk on the bedside table.

As a sister-in-law, Kai is more attentive than his other siblings. Sometimes his attitude is very annoying and makes Jojo fret until a lot of thought, but behind all his messiness, Kai openly shows his affection and attention for the people around him.

"Dinky, why do you always sleep?" asked Kai while rubbing Queen's soft cheeks.

"Sister-in-law, can I hold her?" asked Kai while looking at Jojo.

"Can you?" ask Jojo. The woman who was on the bed with a half-sitting body position lowered her legs. He got off his soft bed slowly and helped Kai hold his nephew.

"Have you improved? When do we bring her home?" asked Kai impatiently.

Kai and Jojo chatted a lot, even Kai felt at home holding his nephew for more than two hours without complaining. He happily shook his body and swung the Queen's body carefully. Kai really enjoyed his first moment with the little baby.

Seeing how Kai cares for Queen, Jojo is thrilled. Jojo is happy that his son has received the love that flows from everyone, including his three uncles.

At eleven o'clock in the afternoon, Kai was already preparing to go to campus. He intends to wake Kalingga but Jojo forbids him.

Just before Kai came out of the room, Kylan was back. He said his work was done because he only photographed two sessions for a fashion model. Seeing Kylan coming, Kai was relieved not to leave Jojo alone.

"Is there a problem? Did Sunny reject you?" jojo asked when Kai was gone. He was worried because Kylan was not as happy as usual.

"No" answered Kylan. He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. Kylan looked at the sleeping baby and smiled faintly.

"Then, what's wrong with you?" jojo.

"What if Sunny's parents check the CCTV footage of their home. If they find out, it's over" Kylan said without seeing Jojo. He was just looking at his nephew.

"Are you doing something? Did you do something no-no to Sunny?" ask Jojo to worry. His mind became increasingly unsettled.

"We kissed while watching television" Kylan replied softly. Hearing that, Jojo glared.

"Basic berandal! How many lives did you have to kiss someone's son in his house? Huh uh?" ask Jojo. He did not think, how could Kylan do that brave. Is there no other place besides his home?

"I can't help myself. We're just alone and ...." Kylan did not continue his words as Jojo loudly pulled the man's ears all of a sudden. Jojo is upset and anxious with Kylan's attitude that has not changed.

"Ah, I'm almost crazy thinking about it all night. What if her parents found out and forbade us from meeting?" kylan said while rubbing his reddened ears.

"You have to apologize and promise not to repeat it again. You must sincerely regret what you did!"

"You mean, not to repeat my actions in their homes but to repeat them elsewhere, right?"

Jojo did not answer. He rubbed his head which felt throbbing pain. Looks like Kylan does have nine lives, kissing a girl in his parents' house is one of the bravest things Jojo knows.
