BONCHAPS 1

Across the island, in a village far away from the city, Kai begins his new life to help Jojo and Kalingga take care of the health clinic they set up.

Here Kai will work as a maid doctor, having a bachelor's degree is not enough to be a real doctor, therefore Kai abandoned his intention to enroll in medical college for S2 and chose to continue his professional education for approximately two years.

Because Kai's intention was to go to the village where his sister-in-law was born, Kai chose to pursue his professional education in the nearby town of the village. He will register immediately after making his choice. But while thinking, he will enjoy his time to look around the village that is often told by Kalingga.

"Have you arrived? How are you doing?" jojo asked from the phone. The woman was so worried about her sister-in-law's situation.

"I've arrived, brother. I met my Uncle and Aunt, after this they will take me to my new residence," Kai replied.

"Thank God, take care of yourself. Let me know if there's anything" said Jojo. Kai was relieved, the long journey he had gone through and now he will soon enjoy his new day.

When he arrived, Kai was escorted by a driver who had been hired by his brother to take the man to Jojo's house. Both of Jojo's parents greeted with enthusiasm for his arrival. They were very happy, in the end they seemed to get a boy.

"Son, shouldn't we just stay here? We don't mind you staying with us" Jojo's mother said.

"Bi, I will trouble you if you stay here. I'll be fine living alone. Anyway I went away from my brothers because I wanted to be independent," Kai subtly refused. "Ah, may I call you mother?" continued.

"Of course, of course you can. Consider me your mother, you are my son too" replied Jojo's mother.

After letting go of the tiredness of sitting in a plane and car for long enough, Kai decides to go to the house Jojo and Kalingga had bought as his residence. Both of Jojo's parents drove the man away so as not to go the wrong way.

For the first time in his life, Kai will live a simple life. Without a car or a motorbike for a while, the house is not too big to the room without air conditioning.

After taking down all of Kai's belongings, the car and driver left the simple wall house that had just been built. Kai didn't seem to mind, he excitedly went inside the house.

"This is the key to his house. Save it well because this place is far from the locksmith if it gets lost," said Jojo's father.

"Good, Uncle." Kai nodded in understanding, as if Jojo's parents understood that Kai was the type of person who was careless in putting his things.

As the day was already approaching, Jojo's parents decided to return home after filling the fridge with some instant food and putting down food for Kai's dinner.

After the departure of Jojo's parents, Kai cleans up and tidies up his belongings. He arranged all the clothes into a wooden cabinet, also arranging his shoes and books on a special shelf.

"I can do it, spirit!" mumbling Kai to encourage himself.

After all was done, the man continued to eat dinner alone. He pensively looked at the small clock on the wall while stirring rice and side dishes on his plate. For some reason, he felt sad, usually he enjoyed dinner with his brother and nephew.

"Ah, I've missed them all" muttered Kai.

To ward off loneliness, he ate while watching a medium-sized television, not as big as a television in his own home. He ate quickly and went out and stood in front of the house.

The wooden fenced house with a yard is not too broad is only enough to accommodate one car and one motorbike. The distance of the house with right and left neighbors ranges from three to five meters. There are several flower plants around the house, as well as coconut trees in the front yard.

Kai took a deep breath, feeling the coolness and freshness of the air better than in the city.

He locked the door of his house after picking up a cell phone, walking down the paving street to look around.

In this place, there were some people sitting in front of his house while chatting with their neighbors. The kids play in the yard laughing. A sight foreign to Kai who was born in a luxurious environment. Every time they passed the locals, they smiled and greeted Kai politely despite not knowing each other. It really makes the man happier.

While walking through nearly ten houses, Kai sees Jojo and Kalingga's clinic. A health clinic large enough to be about the size of a village clinic looks really good from the outside. There were some patients waiting in line, and Kai decided not to come closer, he would be there tomorrow morning.

Out of curiosity about the surroundings, Kai continued to move on while occasionally exchanging messages with his brother-in-law. I really enjoyed the view of the village at night.

The man responded to everyone who greeted him, many times he saw children and fathers pedaling their bicycles excitedly.

But suddenly, Kai felt a drizzle. He ran the other way back, but it was raining more and more, and he was confused because he had forgotten the way home.
