CHAPTER 7 ~ Happy With You ~

Alika is happy when Hasbi invites her to dinner at the last restaurant as she celebrates her birthday. Hasbi chose the restaurant because he liked the menu. The birthday was the most memorable for Alika.

"I'll take Reana to eat with us, wait a minute" Hasbi said, standing up from the restaurant's seat.

"I think the one who celebrated us alone" said Alika astonished while holding Hasbi's hand.

"Yes not Alika, we celebrate this together. Reana's our friend and she works here. How could we celebrate without inviting him" Hasbi said as she patted Alika on the shoulder and passed to the restaurant manager.

The manager of the restaurant called a waiter to take Hasbi to Reana. Reana who had just changed clothes due to her working hours that had run out was surprised to see Hasbi standing at the door.

"It just so happens that you're done working, let's have dinner together" Hasbi said as she pulled Reana's hand.

Reana jerked Hasbi's hand into disengagement,

Hasbi was stunned looking at Reana.

"I want to go home" replied Reana wanting to pass immediately from the presence of Hasbi.

"Wait for Re..," Hasbi said against Reana.

Hasbi looked at Reana, the girl immediately lowered her head. Hasbi grabbed Reana's hand. Of course the girl tried to pull his hand but Hasbi grasped it tightly.

"You haven't forgiven me yet?" ask Hasbi again.

Reana walked aside not caring about Hasbi even though the man's hand was still holding his hand. Suddenly Bu Shinta appeared and asked because from earlier the mother noticed Reana who always wanted to avoid.

"Why Reana? why not join your friends?" ask Ms. Shinta.

Hasbi smiled then nodded respectfully at Bu Shinta, the butler returned Hasbi's smile. The man took the opportunity to withdraw Reana's hand. Reana did not dwell, finally the girl was forced to follow Hasbi's steps to the table that had been ordered.

As before, Hasbi again took a chair for Reana and placed it on the right side of the table. Alika who was opposite Hasbi's table also lifted her chair and moved to the left side of Hasbi's table.

"I also want to sit near you" said Alika.

Hasbi smiled, now Alika and Reana were sitting opposite the table.

"I was lucky, having dinner with two beautiful girls" said Hasbi smilingly looking at Alika and Reana alternately.

The man then asked the waiter to bring the menu. Hasbi immediately ordered the menu he had ordered first. So did Alika and Hasbi ordered a menu for Reana.

Then silent for a moment they were busy with their own thoughts. Hasbi who was happy because he managed to invite Reana. Smiling, she looked at Reana. However, Alika felt a little disappointed thinking this dinner was a special dinner for the two of them. While Reana always felt uncomfortable in the midst of them.

"What...., now it's Bi's birthday?" reana asked Hasbi to break the silence.

"Not" replied Alika quickly.

"This time we celebrate the election of Hasbi as Chairman of BEM our faculty" continued Alika smiling sumringah.

"Oh.., congratulations, Bi" said Reana kaku.

The loner Reana, coming and going just to attend college, had absolutely no idea there was such an election.

"Reana, Reana, when we used to be familiar even we have celebrated birthdays together and laughed together. Now you have become an awkward girl again" Alika recalled the past.

Reana silently bowed, wiping the glass in front of her like she was looking for activities to eliminate her awkwardness. Given the difficult times she has experienced lately has made Reana a moody and closed girl again.

"But sorry Bi.., this time, I have nothing for you" said Reana who felt bad.

"It's okay, you're joining dinner tonight is enough. I don't need any more gifts" Hasbi replied with a smile.

"I have a special gift for you" said Alika suddenly.

Hasbi and Reana immediately looked towards Alika. The girl approached Hasbi and immediately kissed her cheek. Alika smiled happily, Hasbi was stunned then smiled hesitantly then looked towards Reana.

While Reana was only speechless as Hasbi looked at her with an incomprehensible look. The look that seemed to hint at 'don't get this misunderstood means nothing to me' or 'do you not want to give me a kiss gift as well?'

However, she is Reana, if asked to choose, of course she will choose not to misunderstand the kiss. Reana couldn't have dared to give Hasbi a kiss.

The atmosphere became awkward, lucky the waiter came to bring their order. The three friends immediately enjoyed the meal. Occasionally Hasbi glanced at Reana and smiled. Reana simply returned Hasbi's smile with an awkward smile.

"Oh yes Re, how is the development of your video that has already spread" asked Alika to break the silence.

Reana who was about to scoop her food out of the meal, returned the girl put it on the plate. His facial expression turned moody as the video was the thing that always bothered his mind and Reana was eager to forget about it. But now it was Alika who reminded him.

"I don't know how to stop it" Reana said softly as she lowered her head, her voice sounding sad.

"The man promised to finish it, so from now on you don't have to worry anymore" Hasbi said with a smile and even touched the back of Reana's hand.

Alika glanced at Hasbi's hand that still touched Reana's hand and then looked in wonder at Hasbi as well as Reana.

How can Hasbi make sure of that, Inner Reana.

Hasbi was wrongly looked at by the two girls in front of him.

"I went to the upperclassman and held him accountable" Hasbi said as she put down her tablespoon.

The man seemed to lose his appetite when he remembered Nico's words at the end of their meeting. Still ringing in his ears say the upperclassman who said that Reana is his.

Words that somehow upset Hasbi. He was so sorry to challenge Nico that he finally made his upperclassman spout such words out of his mouth.

Hearing Hasbi's words, Alika nodded in understanding and Reana just lowered her head. Alika looked at Reana who was looking down

"Alika" said Hasbi briefly as reminded.

"How does it feel to kiss a man like that?" alika continued, smiling at Reana and not caring about Hasbi's warning.

"Alika" said Hasbi repeating his warning in a higher voice.

"Why Bi? Reana was silent herself. Reana did not avoid it at all, meaning Reana did not mind being kissed by the upperclassman" said Alika did not accept the ban on speaking by Hasbi.

Reana stopped eating.

"Sorry Bi.., I'm done, thanks for the dinner invitation. I'm sorry I came home first" Reana said and left.

The girl ran away from Alika and Hasbi with teary eyes. The girl opened the door of the restaurant and wanted to leave the place immediately. Near the parking lot Reana stopped her steps.

His chest felt tight, his breathing heavy. The girl was crying while looking down. Alika's words pierced right in her heart. Since that incident Reana has unceasingly regretted her attitude.

Why just shut up? why just fixate? why not avoid as Alika said?

why make people think I enjoy it?

wh why? wh why? wh why? reana's screams that can't answer all those questions.

Reana cried regretting her attitude, considering all that herself considered herself cheap. How can you ask others not to think that way?

Meanwhile at the Hasbi restaurant like not believing what Alika said. The man seemed to not believe that Alika could say that, he seemed to not recognize his friend anymore.

"What the fuck are you Al? what's wrong with you? you are not the one who can say that" Hasbi said staring in surprise at Alika.

Alika just silently lowered her head, Hasbi went to catch up with Reana, leaving Alika sitting alone.

While Reana was still standing in the restaurant's parking lot, there the girl sobbed. She wiped away her tears that would not stop flowing. Standing down, he beat his chest that felt so tight, hoping that the pressing burden would break free and disappear.

Why does Alika have the heart to say that, does she also judge me a cheap girl? reana's heart screams.

Reana glanced at the restaurant, then walked quickly towards the sidewalk. He wanted to get away from them immediately. Reana no longer wanted to meet those two people. It won't.

Suddenly Hasbi comes and grabs Reana's arm.

"Re, don't go, forgive Alika. I was also astonished by his attitude" Hasbi said as she held tightly onto Reana's arm.

Reana tries to let go of her hand, but Hasbi's strong grip cannot make Reana's arm go free. Reana silently looked the other way.

"Listen Bi, Alika's a good girl. I know he's sincerely friends with me. But, are you aware? she doesn't like my presence when she just wants to be with you. I was just being a bully and it pissed him off" Reana said softly.

Hasbi was stunned, out of nowhere the girl's strength came to say that many words. I don't know where Reana's thoughts on Alika came from. How could the girl guess the heart of Alika.

"But I'm happy when I'm with you Re. I just want to be with you" Hasbi said slowly.

"But I don't, I want to stay away from you" Reana said firmly and quickly looking straight at Hasbi.

The girl again tried to remove her arm from Hasbi's grasp. Hasbi pulled his hand from his arm, but Hasbi tightened his grip. The girl is tired.

"Why Re? why do you want to stay away from me? what wrong? is it because of that guy? do you like it?" tanya Hasbi.

Reana was silent not answering only her sharp eyes staring at Hasbi. The man pulled Reana's arm closer, their faces only a short distance away. Reana kept silent looking at Hasbi.

"Tell me why do you want to stay away from me?" repeated Hasbi asked.

"Is it because of the kiss?" ask Hasbi.

"Do you like it?" he said harder.

"If it's because of that, can I do it too?" yell Hasbi huffed.

Suddenly Hasbi pulled Reana, held the girl in her arms and forced her to kiss her lips. Reana thrashed but her strength was not strong enough against Hasbi's decapitation.

Meanwhile, Alika realized her mistake.

Why would I say something like that to her?why would I be a bad girl who doesn't care about the feelings of a quiet girl like Reana? inner Alika regretted.

Alika soon comes out following Reana and Hasbi. Look to the right and to the left, looking for directions where they are going. Alika ran out of the parking lot towards the sidewalk. But what happened, Alika was astonished to see the reality that was before her.

Hasbi was hugging and kissing Reana. Hasbi forced a kiss on the girl, Reana thrashed, pushing until finally free, without realizing Reana's hand floated into Hasbi's face. The man got that slap.

"Sorry Bi.., sorry" said Reana softly.

Reana's tears welled up when she realized what hurt Hasbi. Crying stared at her hot hands. Reana regretted slapping the man's face. Reana regrets Hasbi did the deed.

"Sorry Bi" said Reana once again, then ran away leaving Hasbi still lowered.

Hasbi stared at Reana's departure with a sad face. Staring at the girl who ran away while wiping her tears. Hasbi regrets his actions. Hasbi felt this time Reana would not want to forgive him.

Hasbi turned to step into the restaurant while looking down and moody. Hasbi was shocked as she raised her face and found Alika standing staring at her.

Staring at Hasbi with tears in her eyes. Alika shook her head as if she could not believe what she saw. Then went running leaving Hasbi alone.
