CHAPTER 157 ~ Disconnecting Home ~

Nico decides to stay with Reana. The man did not return to his apartment or company. For the sake of his promise to himself who did not want Reana to feel miserable living in his environment.

"It's not that I don't want to live with Brother, but our household has too many problems. I can't take Kak– anymore"

"Don't say that. I beg. I know I was wrong, too possessive, too afraid to lose you. I'm sure it's not like this if you don't get kidnapped. Twice Reana, twice Mr. Malvin is controlling you. That long I don't want to live anymore. I can't afford to lose you again, because of Hasbi or because of that man. I'm so scared of losing you, baby," Nico said.

"I won't mention Sis's name, but there's not a single man I love other than Nico's sister" Reana replied.

"Dear, I should have believed that. I'm afraid they can tease you. They're all good to you, never hurt you. That's why I'm afraid you've chosen one of them" Nico said, strengthening his embrace.

Reana cries in Nico's arms. Reana doesn't want Nico to leave her life for her. Simple life is far from all the facilities and comforts of life. Reana did not think that her husband had determined to leave everything to be able to live with her.

"I will still love my sister even if we part," said Reana

"No Reana, I don't want to be separated from you. I'll chase wherever you go" Nico hugged Reana, shaking his head.

Reana was silent, unable to say anything more. That day they kept helping Reana's mother sell in the school cafeteria. However, after returning home, Reana comes to her mother in the room and tells about Nico's determination to follow her wherever she goes.

"Then it's good. It means that he really loves you. He is willing to lose everything for you. Now don't you feel sorry for him? To your husband who is willing to live a simple life with simple facilities like today, while he can get even better than what we have today.  He might be hated by his parents, son, that's what Mama is sad about" explained Ridha Lia.

Reana. Reana wants support from her mother. Whatever the form of support, but from what her mother said, Bu Ridha Lia reminded Reana to immediately return the life of her husband, in the city with everything that belonged to her. 

"Wife should go wherever the husband goes, not the husband should go wherever his wife goes" replied Ridha Lia with a smile.

"Well, is it okay to live alone again?" reana asked with a worried look.

"Mama's fine, baby. Here the village of Mama, many neighbors who have been considered like their own brothers. You don't worry. Be a good wife, who always supports her husband no matter what the circumstances," explained Ridha Lia.

Reana silently looked at her mother's face. The worry of leaving his own mother after feeling back what the hassle of his mother living life. Reana promises to leave on the condition that her mother will fulfill her request.

"Well Ma, Reana will return to Brother Nico but Reana wants Mama to promise some things. Reana will still send money monthly to Mama. You cannot rely on sales for living expenses. If you are tired or sick, you cannot force yourself to sell. If caught Reana will stay here forever–"

"Geez your threats gave Mama goosebumps. Nico must be upset with Mama if you have to part with his beloved wife because of Mama," said Ridha Lia with a laugh.

"Reana doesn't want to know if something like that happens, Reana stays here or Mama comes with us" Reana said.

"Yes well baby, Mama will remember your words eh no .. Your threat," said Ridha Lia and laughed.

Reana hugged her mother. It was hard to leave her mother alone but had no other choice. Reana also does not want her husband's life ruined just for following her and living with her. Reana's duty as a wife is to serve her husband wherever he is. Reana decided to return to the city even with a heavy heart. They set off in the evening after Nico promised to take his wife to visit her mother-in-law.
