CHAPTER 10 ~ Exhausting Issues ~

Rumors about Nico hugging Reana in the hallway of the campus spread. There is no documentation to support this rumor. It is just a rumor that comes from mouth to mouth. But that's hot news to talk about.

"Then you don't do your job, you're not careful, or you deliberately put it because you're upset with me" replied Rebecca blaming Reana.

"Look, we replaced the juice with a new one. We apologize for this negligence" said Mr. Gunawan, the manager of the restaurant was suddenly there beside Reana.

Reana turned her head in surprise to Gunawan, while Gunawan just smiled while nodding. Mr. Gunawan wants to end this dispute immediately.

A friend of Rebecca who had been busy playing the phone pointed her camera. Reana pressed the phone with her index finger.

"Hey" shouted the girl annoyed.

Reana thought it was possible that the girl was recording their quarrel.

"No, I don't want to eat here anymore" Rebecca said as she stood up.

Reana took out a note from her pocket and placed it on the table.

"You want me to pay for all of this, which is what we're asking for" Rebecca shouted.

Rebecca held the note in front of Reana's face and then placed it roughly on the table. Reana remained calm, despite the girl's trembling trying hard.

"You have to pay for all the food you order" Reana said firmly.

Out of nowhere came his courage, saying firm words demanding his right. The girl felt she had to do it to defend the restaurant she worked at.

"It's Reana, let it go" said Gunawan patiently.

"No sir, he has to pay for it. He has ordered so he has to pay the bill" Reana told Gunawan.

Rebecca smiled obliquely, underestimating Reana's pretentious attitude. Reana did not care, the girl still asked Rebecca to carry out her responsibilities.

"No matter what happens between us, you cannot do it. Never involve this restaurant, you still have to pay the bill" said Reana who felt Rebecca hated him so much.

Reana was determined not to give up. All for the sake of showing that this restaurant, completely innocent as Rebecca alleged. Reana won't let Rebecca just walk away.

Rebecca panicked, Reana was adamant on her stance.

"Okay, I'll pay the bill. But you drink it" said Rebecca, taking a glass of juice and splashing it on Reana's face.

Rebecca's friends were shocked, then cheered, Rebecca grabbed the note on the desk while smiling cynically.

Then invite his friends to leave Reana who is still stunned with a face and a wet uniform.

Mr. Gunawan patted the girl on the shoulder, he did not blame Reana who insisted on his principles. Mr. Gunawan understands what Reana is doing to maintain the good name of the restaurant where he works.

"Go home and rest, forget all today's events" advised Ms. Shinta.

Reana nodded, stepping out of the restaurant with a gloomy face.

"But I'm proud of her, because she's not the Reana that she used to be, she's changed a lot" said Bu Shinta as she looked at Reana who stepped on her feet.

"Change how Mom?" ask Nella.

"So she used to be a quiet, introverted, loner girl. But now he had turned into a child who dared to express his heart, dared to speak. Never did I hear her say that many words" Shinta said excitedly.

On the other hand Reana was walking tired, her footsteps were invisible, blocked by tears that had been inundated.
