CHAPTER 14 ~ Forever Watch You ~

As his friends left, Nico looked up at Reana who was still closing her eyes. Then switch to staring at the drip infusion slowly flowing through the medical hose and ending at the girl's wrist.

This crystalloid infusion fluid containing water, electrolytes, and glucose is used by doctors to overcome the dehydration condition suffered by Reana.

Nico looked at the girl with pity. No bored, Nico looked at the girl's face, but this time Reana looked so silent, so calm, without a sharp eye toward her.

His intention is to find Rebecca, the girl he will pay for his betting penalty.

Nico, who realizes Reana has woken up, immediately pushes the girl, requesting that Reana return to rest. Reana refused.

"Why I was brought here, I won't be able to afford the hospitalization costs in this room" Reana cried in panic.

"Don't worry about it, I'll pay for it" Nico replied as he kept asking Reana to rest again.

Reana brushes off Nico's hand which keeps pushing her to sleep.

"Why do you have to pay, who are you, what is your relationship with me?" reana shouted in panic, imagining the hard-earned tuition, threatened to float.

Nico was silent.

Reana pulls out the infusion needle stuck on her wrist violently, Reana grimaces, her blood drops but Reana doesn't care. In a hurry the girl walked towards the door.

Nico tried to prevent it but the girl refused with her sharp eyes. Seeing that, Nico fell silent. The girl again walked towards the door but had not yet reached the door, the girl felt a great dizziness.

Reana tried to reach the doorknob but could not reach it, Reana had staggered. Nico immediately grabbed Reana, the girl fell unconscious in his arms.

Nico called the nurse immediately. Holding Reana and asking the doctor to check her condition. The nurse again placed an infusion needle on the girl's wrist.

For a long time the girl was unconscious. Nico regrets not being able to prevent it. Nico couldn't force his will on the girl. For some reason, the sharp gaze of Reana's eyes actually caused a feeling of pity for the girl.

Reana opened her eyes, slowly Reana circled her gaze throughout the room. Reana wants to sit down but Reana finds her hands tied to a rag on the security fence next to her hospital bed.

"Regardless of this bond, what you're doing, I'm going to sue this Hospital for treating patients so arbitrarily like this" Reana yelled.

Nico sat next to Reana's hospital bed, looking regretfully at the girl. Actually Nico himself could not bear to do that but this is all for the good of Reana himself.

"Sorry Reana, I was forced to do it, you don't know how the sisters look at me, her gaze hints that I'm not good at looking after you" Nico explained.

"Take me off, I beg you" Reana said, her nose red, her eyes teary.

"I don't want to risk you running again" Nico said.

Nico insists on not letting go of Reana's bondage, the girl resignedly reveals her reason for asking to be released, which she finds a little embarrassing.

"But my cheeks are itchy" Reana said, turning to the window beside her.

Nico approached Reana, looking a small reddish-colored bump on the girl's cheek, smilingly held up.

Reana just kept quiet, did not agree but also did not refuse. Nico reached out his hand to help scratch the girl's cheek. A smile could not escape the man's mouth.

Nico was stunned, never imagining he would touch the girl's cheek. Very white, very soft and sweet looking like a marshmallow, without feeling Nico's hand stroked gently on the girl's cheek.

"You're harassing me again" said Reana softly, closing her eyes, shedding a tear.

Nico regained his senses, hurriedly pulling his hand. Reana's body and feelings still feel tired, tired of the situation, tired of facing reality, until finally the girl fell asleep again.

Seeing Reana asleep, Nico finally decides to untie Reana.

"Please promise not to run away again, I will accompany you, I will take care of you, will always take care of you" Nico whispered softly.

By late afternoon Reana woke up from her sleep. Staring quietly around the room, his hands were no longer tied. The girl got up from her sleeping position slowly. He didn't want to experience something like that.

Reana looked at the sleeping Nico in a sitting position on the sofa. A strange feeling flowed within the girl. What is that feeling ?

Touched him with the sincerity of that handsome man. Or gratitude for her concern for looking after Reana. Or is it just compassion ?

Reana got off the hospital bed, walked slowly looking for the bathroom door. While pushing her infusion pole Reana looked back and forth and finally found the door at the end of the room.

Reana went inside, and sure enough the room was a bathroom, Reana stood looking at her face in the mirror. A tired face, and Reana washed her face. Reana smiled, now it looks fresher.

Reana looked around the bathroom, her smiling face changing with a sullen face.

This bathroom is even more beautiful than my boarding room, Reana said in her heart.

There was noise outside. Reana opened the bathroom door to see what a commotion. On the sofa looks no longer Nico, while pushing her pole forward Reana walks out of the room, looking right and left.

Before long Nico appeared while running, his breathing was wheezing, staring at Reana. Then immediately ran towards the girl. Reana fell silent as the man hugged her tightly.

"I think you're gone again" said Nico, his breath still hunting.

Reana could even feel Nico's chest going up and down because of her still wheezing breath. The man's heart was beating rapidly. Reana backed away from the man's embrace.

"Are they going to let me go carry this" Reana said as she looked at the infusion pole.

Nico patted her forehead. Laughing to himself, the man did not notice that the infusion pole was also not in the room.

"When I saw your bed empty, I went out looking, I even asked the nurse, I thought you left again, I panicked. I didn't notice the infusion pole, where were you?" nico asked, sounding worried, while his breathing was still wheezing.

"To the bathroom" Reana answered briefly.

Jeez, why is it unthinkable, Nico screamed in the heart while rubbing her face hard.

Nico looked at the girl, worry still emanating from her face.

"Please don't run anymore" Nico said, cupping the girl's face and kissing her forehead gently and long. Nico's eyes closed in his kiss.

Reana fell silent, unable to resist, but Nico never let go of her kiss. Not wanting to stay longer in such a situation, Reana pushed Nico's body slowly.

Nico let go of his kiss with a smile, the girl's pale face met with red. Nico takes her into the room to ask Reana to get some rest.

"Sister, come home, you must be tired" said Reana as she walked slowly to the hospital bed.

Nico is shocked to hear Reana. I don't know what made the girl say so sweet.

Has he forgiven me ?

Is he willing to accept me ? inner Nico.

"What did you say? can you repeat again?" nico Candidates.

The girl simply turned her face the other way, then climbed into the hospital bed and slept on her back to Nico. The girl closed her eyes, narrowed her eyebrows, her cheeks reddened.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, a patient food carrier, entered using a food trolley.

"It's dinner" said the mother after putting the food on the nightstand, nodding at Nico, then passing by the door.

"I bribe ya" said Nico spirit.

"No need, sister just go home, rest, brother himself has eaten yet?" reana asks indirectly to send Nico home.

Nico gasped, come to think of it, indeed he had only had breakfast bread this morning. Now that it was late at night, he had completely ignored his own stomach. Even the bread that his friends brought was untouched. The hunger caved with the worry in him.

"I will eat later, now the important thing is that you eat first, if you do not eat later it can be cured" said Nico while taking a tray of food from the nightstand and putting it on the overbed table.

Reana is upset that Nico is not following her advice. Reana wanted the man to worry about his own health.

"I healed a long time because I always see you" Reana said to Nico immediately go home.

Nico looked down, his face was immediately gloomy. His hand that was ready to feed Reana, stopped feeding. Slowly Nico placed the plate he had been holding above the overbed table.

It's true, I was the one who caused Reana stress to be hospitalized, Nico's mind was sad.

Slowly Nico stepped out of the room. His face looks sad.

Always looking at me will certainly not relieve his stress, whispered Nico heart while stepping slowly leaving the hospital.

Reana was stunned, seeing Nico who left without saying any words. He did not mean to hurt the man. He just wants Nico to go home and rest.
