CHAPTER 69 S2 ~ Not a Dream ~

Nico sat awake with sweat pouring all over his body. The man glanced resentfully at the Air Conditioner who was unable to eliminate his sultry feeling. The man took the remote control to further lower the room temperature. Then again threw his body on the bed while staring at the ceiling of the room with an empty look.

What dream is that? Why does it feel so real? Is it possible because my mind is too often imagining our marriage? Why did it suddenly appear, Mr. The malvin? Is he gonna ruin our marriage? But isn't he out of jail for long? Geez, is it because I'm so stressed out about this marriage that it gets carried away in a dream? Inner Nico wondered.

"Yesterday video calls are the same, no problem. But why did Abis call earlier get carried away by a dream? Dreams of a serem again, Mr. Malvin wants to take my shit. Oh my gosh, it's crazy" said Nico speak for himself.

Nico finally chose to sit down. However, even sitting could not calm his mind. The man finally decided to stand on the balcony of his room. In the middle of a lonely night, when everyone was fast asleep, the man stood looking at the darkness of the night.

Nico glanced at the wall clock, then counted. The man remembered that his fiancee was on a break at work. Nico called his future wife.

"Darling! You still busy?" ask Nico while going downstairs to get some water.

"Sedang break Brother, tumben Brother call at this hour? Can't Nico sleep?" guess Reana.

"Kok you know?" tanya Nico immediately stopped drinking from the bottle of mineral water.

Tossing the bottle while stepping back to his room upstairs. Nico sat on the balcony and placed the bottle on the table beside him.

"It must have been night there, right? Brother called instead. It means you can't sleep, right?" ask Reana.

"Actually I was asleep but dreamt, and woke up, now so I can't sleep anymore" replied Nico.

"What dream?" reana asked without thinking.

I don't know why I always wonder about people's dreams. Unknowingly must want to know and ask what people dream. There is absolutely no interest.

"We're at our wedding. Everything feels so real. It feels so happy. The hall, the dishes, the family, the invited guests even you. You are beautiful, very beautiful! Like angels! Everyone is amazed at you. I'm ... really lucky to marry you. Our marriage procession went smoothly, all happy but .." said Nico stalled.

"Why Brother?" reana asked increasingly.

"Suddenly Mr. Malvin came and tried to take you. They surrounded the party hall, Brother panicked once ... after that woke up," continued Nico.

"Reana! Reana! Wh-a-naaaa!" asked Nico several times even turned to his phone screen.

No problem, the phone is still connected to Reana's phone. When called, the girl was silent. Nico thinks Reana is doing something but the man remembers that Reana is resting. Call back but still no word. Nico was upset and finally shouted loudly.

"If you want to leave your phone, let me know! I'm worried to know! I thought you were okay. Suddenly silence! Not called nyahut! Excuse me if you want to go. Nothing yet you spit. Me .. ah!" nico said in an annoyed tone and even immediately disconnected his phone.

Reana was stunned, Nico was very upset. Although the girl did not intend to ignore him, but it was indeed his fault. Reana should stay focused on Nico. Reana felt very sorry, without feeling her tears flowing. There was not the slightest intention of Reana to ignore the man let alone intend to be disrespectful to him. Staring at the cell phone in his hand with tears flowing. Reana immediately ran to the back of the restaurant building and cried there.

"Sorry, baby!" said Nico immediately realized his mistake and felt that his words had made Reana sad.

"If it's okay why are you still crying? You must be angry with Brother huh?" ask Nico to persuade.

"If you are still crying? I'm going there now" said Nico in a cheerful voice.

Reana laughed, though still trying to wipe away her tears.

"We're video calling, baby?"

"No need!" answer Reana directly. Nico was speechless, he knew Reana's answer would be like that.

"I'm sorry! I take this as a debt that I have to pay later when we meet. You can do anything to me. But now don't cry anymore! I am really sorry about what I said earlier. You know that I don't really mean it?" ask Nico.

Reana replied in a soft voice. Nico again asks for a video call to prove Reana is no longer crying but the girl still refuses.

"Sir Reana! Let's go to lunch first! Whose phone is Reana on? What from Mr. Malvin again?" ask Nella.

Reana was shocked to hear Nella's words. But that shock doesn't just belong to Reana. Although hastily put a damper on his phone but Nico has already heard it. The man wanted to ask Reana. However, the girl hastily hangs up Nico's phone call on the grounds that another restaurant employee has been waiting for her.
