CHAPTER 63 S2 ~ Ganjalan ~

Mr. Alex Rayne decides to agree to her son's wedding plans with Reana. So short and fast that Reana and Nico are stunned, between believing and not. They looked at each other, unsure.

Maybe because I didn't think that decision could change overnight. Yesterday her mother still rejected their wedding plans. This morning the two agreed. 

Reana and Nico, sitting in front of his parents, wish Mr. Alex Rayne will repeat. Nico and Reana just kept waiting. Dare not to ge-er an, excited first.

"Why? You guys don't like it? No thanks for us?" ask Alex Rayne.

"I mean Daddy? Mommy and Daddy agree we're married?" ask Nico still can't believe it.

"Daddy told you earlier, are your ears in trouble?" ask Alex Rayne.

"Seriously Daddy?" ask Nico not to believe it.

The man even stood close to his father. Mr. Alex Rayne stretches out her arms to hug her beloved son.

"May you be happy forever" replied Alex Rayne.

Nico hugged his father tightly. I can't imagine how much happiness he feels. The father and son looked so intimate and affectionate to each other. All this time, act like normal. Mrs. Cathrina felt Nico's exaggerated attitude showed her happiness and it made her nauseous.

But when Nico hugged her tightly and kissed her cheeks repeatedly, the mistress who was seen guarding the image could not bear the amused to laugh.

"You are like a child" Cathrina said.

"Nico dear Mommy! Sweetheart! Sweetheart! Sweetheart! Iyaaang! Mommy," said Nico after kissing his mother's cheek.

Although she did not like her husband's decision. Seeing the happiness of her only son, made her not too regret the decision to accept her husband's request. Nico pulls Reana by the hand and asks the girl to thank her parents.

Reana is of course happy, so happy Nico to forget the conditions put forward by his father to take over his company. Reana smiled bitterly, but did not want to ruin the happiness of the man.

"What's up, baby? Why not happy?" alex asked Rayne as Reana kissed the old man's back.

Alex Rayne hugs Reana signifying happiness for them. Nico who still hugged his mother was immediately aware of the concerns of his future wife. Immediately approached Reana and hugged to comfort her.

"I think .. Reana is worried because she can't stay here Daddy. Reana can't leave her mother either" replied Nico.

"Then bring your mother here" replied Catharina.

"I don't think Mama Reana will be willing Mommy" said Nico with a look that began to moody.

"So she chose her daughter to fail to marry instead of giving up on moving here? Didn't you see Mommy and Daddy have given up on you. Why won't he give up on her daughter?-"

"Not so–"

"Why should you answer. Is she your Mama? Why not let him speak for his mother who won't budge and stay here?" ask Catharina.

Reana raised her face that had been bowed. Trying to stare at the face of the madam who looked so resolute. Hearing Mrs words. Catharina, Reana feels guilty. The mistress and her husband had relented to accepting her as his future daughter-in-law and now wanted to demand sacrifice from her mother.

"We haven't talked about this, ma'am. I didn't know, and didn't expect to be asked to stay here. I will immediately ask Mama about the plan to move here," replied Reana who was trembling because of the firmness of the madam who had made her guts shrivel.

"When are you going to talk? When will we get the answer. If he is not ready how? And why do we seem to be expecting you?" ask Catharina overstretched.

Reana was flabbergasted at the anger of Mrs. Cathrina. The girl can't talk anymore. Everything the madam asked felt wrong and the mistake came from her side. Nico embraces his future wife so that Reana becomes calm. The man smiled as if to show that there was nothing to fear.

"I have given up on you, now it is your mother's turn to give in to our desires. Nico had to settle down here to run his Daddy company. Just think about which is more important than him who does not want to leave his magnificent home–"

"Mom!" exclaimed Nico who felt bad to hear his mother's innuendo to Reana's mother.

Mrs. Cathrina stood up from her seat. No matter what else, he thought, he had sacrificed big enough to let his son marry a poor girl like Reana. Soon the woman climbed the stairs to her room.

"Daddy doesn't know that your mom won't move here or you can't leave her. We will think about the solution again. The point is we're blessing your marriage. On that issue, we'll talk about it again, yeah!" alex Rayne stood up from the couch and walked up the stairs to her room.

Reana immediately turned to look at Nico. The girl felt very guilty.

"I'm sorry sister" Reana said with teary eyes.

"Why apologize? You are not wrong! What you said earlier is true. We should talk to Mama first. There's no way we'll decide that ourselves. The problem is that we both do not know that Daddy will apply these conditions," explained Nico while cupping his future wife's face.

I'm afraid, baby, this problem has no solution. But believe! I make sure, I will choose you if there is no way out, inner Nico while hugging Reana who began to shed tears.

Happiness is only a moment they feel. For Reana did not even feel happy at all because the girl still felt there was a wedge in their efforts to reach the level of marriage.
