CHAPTER 186 ~ Conscious ~

Ardy was so angry that he stuck out his hand to strangle Lisca. The woman ran and screamed for help but there was no one in the room. The villa felt so quiet. Like no one was staying there. 

It was late night. Those who are tired of joking all day will be exhausted. Falling asleep like fainting. At least that was what Lisca thought as she tried to bang on every room door. 

Lisca panics because no one witnesses Ardy's threat to Lisca. The words of Ardy who wanted to kill him with his own hands, could have really done Ardy. What man holds no grudges after being betrayed?

Ardy could have killed him and dumped his body in the sea. Given that Lisca was desperate. Back trying to bang on their friends' room door but no one opened the door.

In the Villa's hallway, Ardy manages to capture and push Lisca against the wall. Strangled the woman's neck with a smile and a sharp eye.  Lisca tried to take off the hand that started to stop her breathing.

"To ... long!" he tried to scream for help.

Reach out for anything to get help. However, Lisca just felt increasingly suffocated. His body was weak until he fell.

His legs twitched until he finally woke up from his sleep. With breathless and cold sweat, Lisca turned her head towards the sofa. It looks like Ardy has fallen asleep there. The woman felt her neck dry.

Then take a long breath. Lisca looked back at Ardy's face, there was no sign of men waking up let alone suffocating him. Everything that happened felt so real.

It was just a dream, but it felt real. Maybe because in my heart I felt fear for Ardy's threat. Our relationship is no longer harmonious. Although forgiving and accepting me back but still kept the grudge there. I have betrayed Ardy, my betrayed heart. Envy the luck of another woman, feel like seizing another woman's husband. Although I never cheated but my heart has cheated. Ardy doesn't deserve me anymore. Ardy shouldn't have accepted me anymore. For what purpose has the relationship been broken by continued? All my life, Ardy won't believe me anymore, Lisca's pensive mind staring at Ardy's deeply asleep face.

The woman regretted that she had felt a love for Nico. Given Ardy who used to spoil him so much, giving everything he needed was actually reciprocated with a painful traitor. Lisca felt that what she was doing was wrong.

The woman stepped down from the bed to pick up something that relieved her throat. The suffocating dream was like completely blocking the throat. Her cry for help was like it was actually making her throat feel dry.

After gulping cold water in the kitchen, Lisca stepped towards her room. Suddenly his steps stopped when he saw Nico who was still sitting on the back porch looking at the ocean. The woman was surprised because what she saw was like an event depicted in her dream.

Oh no, is this a temptation? If I did what I had in my dream, could I really be killed? It's awful, I can't be tempted to approach him. I really want to have Nico but I can't beat everyone who defends him, against everyone who protects Reana. Everyone will hate me, Lisca's inner gaze straight at Nico.

For a long time I could only look at the man from behind. Lisca did not dare to approach as she did in a dream. Just standing still without looking at the man who amazed him. Suddenly Nico stood up and went inside the Villa. 

His steps came to a halt when he found Lisca standing inside the villa. Nico was glued so was Lisca. They look at each other.

"What are you doing here?" ask Nico.

"Oh, I just want a drink in the kitchen. When I wanted to go back to the room, I saw you sitting there, that's all" Lisca said.

Nico nodded. The atmosphere felt awkward for him. After all, Nico had felt that Lisca liked him. Not wanting to be in such an awkward situation, Nico wanted to continue his steps towards the room.

"What's wrong? Lisca don't think of anything, Ardy's so patient with you and me …."

"I know! I'm not keeping you here to tease you. I've decided to go back apart from Ardy ….

"Why then talk to me? Tell Ardy straight. Why tell me your decision? Do you want me to feel guilty for ruining your relationship? I won't feel guilty. I didn't do anything about your relationship" Nico said.

"I know and I won't blame you. I just wanted to ask you a favor. Can anyone take me away from this villa right now? I want to go home. I want to ask Ardy for help, I'm sorry I couldn't continue the engagement. The engagement that I had destroyed," said Lisca.

"But is it better tomorrow? Can you talk to Ardy? Why the rush to leave tonight" asked Nico.

"Because I'll die, if it's longer here …."

"What?"

"Do you know, you fascinated me Nico. You make me not care about Ardy's feelings. The longer you stay around me makes me misstep. I don't want to die. I don't want to make Ardy hurt anymore" Lisca said.

"But didn't Ardy apologize? You begged him to be given another chance and Ardy has accepted you back. Why do you want to end your relationship?" ask Nico wonder.

"Do you think I really want to go back to Ardy?"

"What?"

"I asked him to accept me again so I could stay close to you. I want to stay near you. I still wanted to find a way to get close to you, but now I realize. If I hurt Ardy, then I'll get the punishment. My heart has moved away from Ardy. I've lost love for Ardy, and it can't be fixed. It's all because of your presence in my life, but be calm. I don't blame you, but I blame myself. I'm too greedy. I realized, Ardy wouldn't be able to satisfy my greedy nature. Rather than her suffering from a greedy woman like me, she would rather look for another girl" Lisca said, making Nico think for a moment.

"Alright if it's your decision, I'll call the Villa guard for help to drive you home, but you'd better leave with Ardy …."

"Can't be Nico. I can't meet Ardy. I don't want to see Ardy. I just want you to say my apology to her, please," Lisca pleaded.

Hearing that, inevitably Nico nodded. Although it disagrees with Lisca's ways but not her right to force the will on the woman. Nico contacted the Villa manager who could be asked for help to take Lisca back to his house at that time.

The woman left, escorted by Nico to get to the terrace of the Villa. The woman thanked Nico for all her help. Nico doesn't know what Ardy's opinion will be, but honestly in his heart, he feels relieved about Lisca's departure. It's just Nico who doesn't know how to explain it to Ardy.
