CHAPTER 187 ~ Split ~

Lisca asked permission to go home that night as well. Inevitably Nico agreed despite having suggested that the woman ask permission first to her fiance. Nico contacted the Villa manager who could be asked for help to drive Lisca back to her house that night.

Lisca left with a smile, ushered by Nico to get to the terrace of the Villa. The woman thanked Nico for the man's help. After Lisca's death, Nico is confused on how to explain Lisca's departure to Ardy.

The next morning, Nico recounts his meeting in the middle of the night with Lisca to his wife. Reana is shocked at Lisca's courage in expressing her feelings for Nico. Even more so when I found out that Lisca chose to go home that night.

"Why Brother? What was the fight with Ardy's sister? How did Nico tell Ardy's sister? What if he's angry?" ask Reana worried.

Nico smiled at the sweetness of his wife when she worried about others, like a worried child even if it was none of his business. Nico won't lie to his friends. Telling the truth happens even though Lisca's statement can hurt Ardy.

At breakfast together, Nico begins to bring up Lisca's problems. After finding the right time. After seeing the confused Dina not finding Lisca, Nico finally spoke up.

"Ary! There's something I want to talk about Lisca. She …."

"I already know. I was there last night, too" said Ardy, bowing.

"So you heard everything, why didn't you show up? Why not prevent it?" ask Nico.

"What's Nic for? Didn't you decide yesterday to split up? Why should I pursue the love of a woman who no longer loves me? He blatantly expressed fascination and fell in love with you. You think I can live happily with a woman who's obviously in love with my best friend?" asked Ardy with a gloomy face.

Reana looked pityfully at Ardy and then turned to look at her husband's face. Nico is still trying to support his best friend but Ardy is clearly not interested anymore. There was a sense of relief and sadness in Reana's heart.

Relieved that the seductress of her husband was no longer in their midst. However, it was sad that the man lost the woman he loved. Reana bowed sadly, because she could not think of a way to comfort the man who had been considered like her own brother. His eyes even glazed over.

"I'm sorry Brother. I can't help. I don't know what to do" Reana said, even now shedding tears.

Nico immediately embraced his wife, rubbing the arm of the woman who became so sensitive. Dina even cried to see Reana shed tears. But Ardy smiled instead.

"I was very happy when I found out that Ardy had an escort and even got engaged, but now it's like this. I'm so sorry, brother. I'm sad, too" continued Reana.

"Do you want me to defend him, and then he teases your husband?" ask Ardy with a smile.

Reana smiled but was still sad. The woman knew Ardy must be very sad but the man chose to ignore his grief. Reana felt sad that it was all related to her as well. Ardy may still try if he doesn't think about himself.

"Not be sad. Just pray for me so I can find a replacement, that's all" Ardy said with a more sincere smile. Reana nodded then smiled.

"Yes Brother, we are waiting for the new love of Kak Ardy. We do not need unfaithful love. We're all sure Ardy can get better everything. I'll pray for Ardy every day" Reana said encouragingly to Ardy. The man nodded then turned his head towards Nico who had only been silent since then.

"Hey! Why you? Suddenly quiet?" ask Ardy with a laugh.

"Ah, that's okay" said Nico, laughing.

Just as his wife felt. Nico feels sorry and guilty because Lisca changed after getting acquainted with him. Nico also regretted not being able to help his best friend maintain his love. However, now also relieved because the unfaithful woman is no longer his best friend.
