CHAPTER 109 S2 ~ Want To Meet ~

Nico and Reana hear the doorbell ringing. Nico thought that the one who came was his mother because she had just proposed that they move into her house.

However, Nico's guess is wrong, the man actually got a bouquet of flowers for his wife from another man. Without further ado, the man immediately threw the bouquet of flowers into the trash can in front of Reana. Nico did not care if the woman objected because the attention marks from Hasbi was thrown away.

The clueless Reana finally took the small envelope tucked between the fresh flowers. Reana was surprised when reading the greeting card to hopefully get well soon. The woman just understood where her husband's upset face came from.

Maybe Hasbi came back to the office to take lunch, Inner Reana.

Guess Hasbi found out she was sick from her secretary. Reana turned to look at Nico who was sitting down looking down, propped up in both hands. With hesitation Reana stepped over to Nico and sat down beside Nico.

"Sorry, sister" said Reana slowly.

"Why are you apologizing?" ask Nico.

Reana could not answer. What is certain Reana feels is sorry to see Nico who is like upset mixed with sadness. Reana felt that the man was tired of the problems that always arise in their relationship. Since she was dating until she got married.

"I feel like I've always been the cause of Brother's grief. Please, brother, don't mind Hasbi, she's just a friend to me" Reana said at last after thinking out loud what she could say to Nico.

"I know he's your friend, but you also know that he likes you, right?" ask Nico.

"Yes, but that was my sister. Now that I'm married, she may already have a family, too" Reana replied.

"You think he's married? What does his wife think of seeing her husband take his old love to lunch and now even send flowers?" ask Nico.

Reana was down, her eyes glazed. The woman was wrong too. I have no reason to refuse Hasbi.

Can't after marriage be friends anymore? Inner Reana.

Nico looked at his silent wife. The man knew that Reana felt wrong. Nico grabbed his wife's hand and clasped it with both hands. He kissed the back of his hand by closing his eyes. Nico wants to be strong for Reana, wants to withstand the threat of the integrity of his household. 

For the sake of wanting to trust his wife and for Reana not to feel so wrong when encountering such a situation. Nico finally revealed his heart. By making sure Reana's love remains for him despite the coming of men who tease him.

"I love you Reana. I always felt jealous, so afraid of losing you. But I want to believe you. I let you stay friends with Hasbi but please don't betray me" Nico said, staring at the woman he loved.

"Can you ban it?" ask Nico.

"I tried Brother. Actually Hasbi quite understands my situation. When I called, she felt bad too. I could feel that because he directly asked Big Brother. But really Brother, because there was not the slightest feeling for him, I felt no burden when I met him but because Brother called, I felt that Brother suspected me," explained Reana.

"All right! I trust you but I still don't trust him. I'll ask to meet him–"

"What?"

"Why? We're worried that I'm gonna hurt her?" nico asked but was replied with a headband by Reana.

"I'm afraid the one who got hurt was Brother" said Reana.

"You think I'll lose?" ask Nico.

"What's? Do you really want to fight? Then don't meet," Reana said in a high tone. Nico is smiling.

"We have to meet, baby. He needs to know that I'm not gonna let you go. So that he doesn't expect you anymore. Don't worry my wife, how do you know we will become friends" Nico said, rubbing his wife's cheek.

"Can it be so?" ask Reana.

"Why not? If we open up to each other, what can't. Some can be friends between husband and ex-boyfriend. Moreover, this is just a friend even though I know he has a special feeling for you" explained Nico.

Reana could say nothing more. If meeting and talking to Hasbi is a good way out then they should try. Their homes are free from prejudice.
