CHAPTER 116 ~ Unwanted Surprise ~

Nico is living new days with a little relief because his wife is no longer using public transportation. Reana used her own car to get to the office. Reana went through a routine with him quietly.

The atmosphere at her home was calm. Mrs. Cathrina who saw for herself the way of life of Reana did not mention the matter of those who did not have children. Mrs. Cathrina heard from her obstetrician that Reana's gynecological condition was fine because it was Miss. Cathrina can't blame Reana anymore.

"Reana's village turned out to be healthy and well, how is this Dad?" ask Cathrina to her husband.

"Aren't you panicking like that? Good if it's healthy and fine. Does Mommy want Reana's content to be problematic?" ask Alex Rayne.

"It's not Dad. If Reana's okay, then what's wrong is Nico?" ask Cathrina who does not want her son to have reproductive health problems.

In his heart, Nico is his son who was raised by giving everything that is best for him. Mrs. Cathrina couldn't believe her troubled son. More likely to choose Reana who is problematic until it is easier to find a way out.

Find another wife for Nico. The rich mistress, so proud of her son because at all times her friends were always willing to offer their daughters for Nico's editing. "Nico isn't necessarily a problem either" Alex Rayne replied.

"If Reana's not in trouble. Nico's not in trouble, so who's in trouble?" cathrina asked in panic.

"Mommy is troubled by being impatient. Let's just follow, let it flow like water. Something that I've been waiting for will feel longer. They also feel sorry if they are urged to continue. Their lives are burdened. Let it go, we just have to make them always happy. Remember that! The burden of the mind can cause stress and stress can also make it difficult for couples to get offspring" explained Alex Rayne.

"The results show you're okay?" nico asked as Reana told him that day accompanied her mother-in-law to the obstetrician.

The man's heart was instantly worried. Nico sat by the side of the bed after releasing his embrace on his wife's innocent body. The man sat down with both hands supporting his head which felt heavy.

"Sister why? Brother doesn't like me okay?" reana asked as she leaned against the man's open back.

"It's not so dear. If you're okay it means I'm in trouble …."

"not necessarily! If you want to be more certain, you also have to be checked. But the doctor said it could be a healthy sister, too," explained Reana then turned to lay themselves on the lap of the man.

Nico smiled and stroked the beautiful woman's hair. Reana hugged her husband's waist. Nico hugged his beloved wife.

"You have always been my heart's entertainer. You are a very innocent woman. If other women will surely arise arrogance. I am also like that, feeling that because you have to get pregnant, then you must be in trouble. I'm so sure I'm okay. My thinking is very selfish. I'm sorry, honey. Reana, if I'm the one with the problem, are you going to leave me?" ask Nico with a pity.

Nico thanked his wife. I was so impressed by the kindness of his wife. It felt like I wanted to forever hug the woman and not let her go. The worry turned to him.

If he used to proudly declare would still choose Reana, if his wife was declared troubled. Now that pride is gone. What arises is precisely a sense of worry and insecurity.

However, Reana still appeared to comfort his heart. Ease the burden of his insecurities.  By promising not to leave the husband he loves. Reana asks her husband to act the way he was and remains convinced that he is okay.

For sure, I had to see a doctor but it was horrible. Knowing if it turns out I can't give offspring. Reana innocently checked herself into the doctor, what if she had a problem? Mommy must have asked him to leave me or at least let me remarry, but if I was the one in trouble, Mommy would probably ask him to stay loyal to me, Nico thought of the injustice.

Since hearing the results of the examination. Nico became moody. Reana knows the cause but she doesn't want to bring it up. Reana wants Nico to know that, no matter what condition Nico is in, Reana will remain loyal to her husband.

Slowly and surely, day after day passed without any problems. Everything is going peacefully. Mrs. Cathrina did not demand Reana to get pregnant again. Madam was resigned, because Reana was not to blame. Day after day passed without anything meaningful.

As of today, Reana, who knows her husband is still in his office at lunchtime, wants to surprise the man she loves. However, Reana was shocked when she saw Rebecca coming out of her husband's room.

"Rebecca?"

"Oh! You're here? Have you been waiting a long time?" ask Rebecca.

"What is your business here?" ask Reana.

"What's my business? Didn't your husband tell you that I work here? Oh yeah, it's been over two months. Brother Nico didn't tell you? He seems to want to keep me a secret. All righty! I'm back first. My business with him today is done" Rebecca said.

Realizing that someone was talking outside his room, Nico came to take a look. The man was shocked when he saw his wife talking to Rebecca. One of his company managers. But he is also Reana's enemy.

"Why is he here? Brother accepted it here. Brother knows, right? He's mean to me. He mocked me because my brother hid him from me. My brother kept it secret to me. Wh why? Wh why? What did you do with him?" ask Reana bertubi.

"I have to answer which one was Reana? I'm confused to hear so many of your questions" Nico panicked.

Reana left the room. Nico immediately blocks the path of the woman he loves. Reana encourages the man's body to step aside but Nico grabs him and drowns the woman in his arms.

"I don't want to keep her a secret from you. Really darling! I'm just confused how to tell you. Confused how to ask for your understanding. Long story. I'll explain at home!" nico said, stretching his embrace.

"No need, just keep it a secret forever," Reana said and immediately turned around and walked out of the door.

With a slight slam Reana closed the door of the room. Making Nico just stay in place while rubbing his face violently. Nico knows this won't be easy. Explaining to Reana the reason Rebecca worked at the company might be possible but asking the woman not to be jealous every day, might be hard.
