CHAPTER 112 S2 ~ Decree ~

Nico confides in his best friend through his cell phone connection. Rommy suggests asking Reana to accompany him to check with the obstetrician. Nico agrees and hopes Reana will fulfill her request.

When I want to go back to my office from the balcony. Nico is surprised by Reana who has been standing at the sliding door to the balcony. Nico's heart was immediately worried because he felt Reana had heard Rommy's conversation. Evidently from Reana who looked at him with teary eyes.

"Darling, are you here?" ask Nico.

A question that doesn't need an answer. Clearly Reana was standing in front of him. However, Nico did not know what to say to greet his beloved wife. Especially after feeling guilty because Reana must have heard her conversation with Rommy.

Reana flipped her body about to leave, Nico immediately held back and hugged her from behind. Nico doesn't want Reana to be sad, so he talks to Rommy. Trying so that his mother's worries do not become a burden on the mind for the woman he loves.

"Don't shut up and go away so dear. Say something" whispered Nico as she placed her chin on Reana's shoulder.

Reana was still silent, her eyes straight ahead but with tears flowing. Reana also wanted to say something but did not know what she wanted to reveal. The fact that a mother was worried because her son had no children, made Reana herself say nothing.

"What you say, just say it. What do you want to ask, just ask. Don't shut up and think nothing" Nico pleaded.

"Don't want to get married again?" ask Reana at last.

With a voice that was barely audible and as choked. Reana couldn't really ask that question, but her heart was very curious as to what Nico's heart was like. Reana with all her heart had to hear Nico's answer.

"Never dear, the only woman who is my wife is you. You must have heard that I rejected Mommy's wishes" whispered Nico.

"Until how long, Brother can refuse Mommy's request?" reana asked as she rubbed her tears that finally flowed.

"Until anytime. I will forever refuse Mommy's request. All sorts of ways I tried to wake Mommy up, remind her that I wouldn't be in this world if it wasn't for you. There would still be no grandchildren if it wasn't for your help. Mommy just tried but couldn't force it. Don't be mad at Mommy, baby. Mommy is just a mother who can't wait to hold a grandchild. Mommy loves you too. Mommy's worried about us. Because of that, Mommy wants us to move there. All that so he can be more considerate of you," said Nico.

"I'm afraid, Mommy told me to get married again. I can't–"

"No need! You don't have to do that. I'll reject it. We're gonna try to have a baby. Rommy asked me to check myself out. He thinks maybe I'm trouble–"

Nico turned his wife's body towards him and cupped the beautiful woman's face. Nico denied Reana's words. The man believes Reana is fine because of that Nico just wants Reana to give him the support to check in.

"Don't Brother. Don't check. Let me check. I'm sure it was my gibberish that was problematic. Maybe I can get treatment for my womb" Reana said.

Nico agreed to his wife's request. The man offers to take Reana to the obstetrician. With hesitation Reana nodded. Nico smiled and kissed his wife's lips and invited her to lunch.

"Why alone here? If you want to come here, you call me, let me pick you up" Nico said.

The man was most worried about his wife going everywhere alone. Unless the woman wants to use her own car. Nico doesn't want to lose Reana again. Nico feels that he has lost Reana too often.

Nico invited his wife to lunch together. It was then that Reana finally decided to be willing to move into Nico's parents' house.  Her husband was immediately shocked by Reana's decision.

"Are you sure of your decision? Don't be in a hurry to decide something dear" said Nico.

"I'm not Mommy's dream daughter-in-law. I feel too much lack. I want to be devoted to Mommy, so that Mommy is willing to like me a little," said Reana then immediately eat her food with teary eyes.

"What do you expect by living there? Most daughters-in-law avoid living with their in-laws. Why are you so different?" ask Nico.

"I don't want to be blamed, brother. If I had obeyed Mommy's will. I hope Mommy won't blame me again. I'm obedient to all Mommy wants. Whatever Mommy's orders I'll follow. Provided Mommy keeps letting me be Sister–'s wife"

"Reana?" 

Nico is shocked by Reana's sudden decision to stay with her parents. There was a sense of happiness when he heard the reason the woman was willing to obey the wishes of her mother. Nico was moved to hear that the woman's submission was all for her sake.

Part of his heart felt grateful because his wife was willing to fulfill his mother's wishes. Some were worried that Reana could not face her mother every day. Nico could not bear to see the tears of the woman every time he saw her.
