CHAPTER 115 ~ S2 ~ Surprise ~

Nico convinces Reana by burning a photo of the girl who became his first love. Seeing that Reana was crying. The girl felt her sadness was not worth Nico's sacrifice. Reana regrets that Nico burned the only photo of her old love's memories.

Nico who saw the woman did not move from her place but instead stood down while crying there, Nico became unbearable. It was her tough attitude that caused Reana to be so sad.

"I'm sorry, huh?" ask Nico while hugging Reana.

"Why did you burn it?" asked Reana with a whim.

"Why can't I burn it?" nico asked back.

"Later Brother Nico regretted not being able to see her again," said Reana increasingly sobbing and even made his body shake.

"If I don't burn it, you will cry" replied Nico.

"It's okay" replied Reana again.

"You think I like watching you cry? You think I married you to make you cry? I'll get rid of anything that makes you cry. Even though it's my old memories, my only memories. Something that was precious to me, I don't care. Because now I have something more valuable. You, the only thing that's valuable to me is you" said Nico, then kissed his wife's lips.

Reana looked into Nico's eyes. Wanted to find the truth of the man's words in his eyes. Reana thought Nico's words were only to comfort her. However, there was not the slightest bit of regret in Nico's eyes doing all that. Nico sincerely burned the photo without any regrets.

Although there is no regret for Nico, it does not mean Reana was relieved. Reana still regretted Nico's choice. For Reana it's better to cry than to see Nico regret.

Nico wants Reana to forget about it. Nico took the beautiful woman back to their room. While glancing towards the room, Reana stepped into the room to close the door. Reana also locked it as if she wanted to lock Nico's memories in there.

The next day, Nico takes his wife to a showroom. Gave a car to his wife. With a look of astonished face Reana received the gift.

"Someday I may be very busy. It might be hard for me to pick you up and drop you off. I also don't agree if you use taxis or public transportation. I'm always worried baby, seeing you meet unknown people out there. Are you willing to drive yourself?" ask Nico.

Reana finally agreed. Nico's affection for making the man treat Reana like a child. However, it is understandable. After the events that befell Reana, Nico felt it was natural to worry. He told Rommy once.

"Reana's life often grazes danger" Nico said when Nico's worry was considered excessive by Rommy.

"Yes, right, it's only natural that you're worried that he's going alone using public facilities" Rommy said.

"Who do you know who's been through all these cases, kidnappings, arrests, even shootings?" ask Nico.

"Well!" rommy answered directly.

"Yes that's it. How I don't worry about him. If he could, I'd just lock him up at home, but is that possible? He must have protested" Nico said.

They laugh together too. Rommy is Nico's confiding friend in everything. Personal or business issues. Nico had regretted Rommy who did not want to work for his company.

Nico once imagined Rommy would be his personal assistant. Once he replaced his father, the man immediately offered Rommy the position with a salary that is many times than he receives today. Rommy refused, however.

"I don't want our friendship to be ruined by work. Many conflicts, opposite thoughts in business. I was also afraid not to maximally develop my thoughts on people I know, weigh this, weigh it until finally the performance became not optimal. You're the same, disagreeing with my thoughts, you're upset, unwell, resentful, until you end up ruining the friendship" explained Rommy.

"I've always been envious of seeing business partners who are friendly with their personal assistants" Nico said.

"That's difference. A friend cannot be a personal assistant but a personal assistant can be a friend. You just need to find someone who fits your way of thinking" said Rommy.

"If a pretty girl can't?" ask Nico kidding.

"If my personal opinion allows but if the wife's opinion is certainly not allowed," said Rommy.

They laugh back. The lunch became a confiding session as well as entertainment for them. Since from that day Reana used her own car to go everywhere until that day, Nico had the opportunity to take her best friend to lunch together.

Nico is living new days with a little relief because his wife no longer uses public facilities. They only need to call each other if they feel missed. Sometimes, if they get the right time they can eat together.

Using cars each meet at the promised place. Sometimes we go to work, sometimes we send food to each other. Their days went by without any problems. Even at home, Reana and her in-laws had no problems.

Since living together in Nico's parents' house. The situation just became calm. Mrs. Cathrina saw for herself Reana's way of life that was fine. Nico knows Reana must be shocked by Rebecca's appearance in her husband's company. Rebecca is not just an enemy during college for Reana but Rebecca is an eternal enemy for Reana in fighting over Nico's love.
