CHAPTER 105 S2 ~ Because of Lies ~

Reana receives a lunch invitation from Hasbi. Because according to Reana, Nico knows Hasbi then there will be no problem. Nico knew that Hasbi was the head of his class in college. Nico also knows that they are best friends, the three with Alika. Although Nico was in a position to compete with Hasbi, Reana believes that Nico knows Hasbi is only a friend to him.

"Where are you? Has lunch been?" nico asked after hearing Reana greeting him.

"Yes Brother, I'm .. at lunch right now. What about Nico? Have you eaten?" reana asked with a pounding heart.

The woman didn't expect Nico to call her when she had gone to lunch with Hasbi. If her husband had contacted her sooner, Reana would have chosen to wait for her husband. Now, for some reason, Reana feels guilty.

"I've eaten. Who are you going with?" ask Nico.

"With ... friend."

"Women?" ask Nico. Silent for a moment and then Reana's voice sounded.

"All right." Nico immediately disconnects his phone call and just leaves from the presence of Reana's secretary.

Nisa who saw the tense face of the husband of her superior was going awry. Nisa was afraid that what she said to Nico was something that should be covered up. Nico returns to his office and spends time pensive.

"How could you lie to me. What do you want to cover? Do you have feelings for him, too? Do you really love him? You refused because you didn't want to hurt your best friend, right? You reject that man because he is the man your best friend loves. I'm just a runaway for you. I'm just an escape from your pent-up love for her. I hate you! You liar! I hate you Reana! I hate you!" nico shouted and threw everything on his desk.

Nico was stunned and then shed tears, staring at his cell phone that hit the wall and fell apart on the floor. While Reana seemed to get a bad feeling, either because of guilt for his lies. Reana doesn't feel like lunch is fun anymore. Hasbi realized that and immediately asked.

"So that's your husband?" asked Hasbi, startling the dreamy Reana.

"Yes," he answered briefly, trying to smile.

"Is he angry?" ask Hasbi.

"No" replied Reana again.

If Brother Nico finds out I'm lying, he'll be mad. Why should I lie to him, I should be honest. I shouldn't have lied. Why would I do that? Wh-wh-what for? Inner Reana then closed her eyes.

Hasbi who noticed the woman's mood swings only let Reana try to calm herself down. Hasbi did not want to urge the woman to tell her about her anxiety. As Hasbi invited her back to the office, soon Reana nodded in agreement.

The woman wanted to get to her office soon. It was as if if he had been in his room his heart became calm. However, once you get a report from Nisa, let alone calm down, Reana actually increases in panic.

"What's? So my husband was here?" ask Reana to Nisa.

"Oh," said Reana directly massaging her suddenly throbbing head.

"Sorry Mom, I don't know if–"

"No! It wasn't your fault. It's not your fault" Reana said and returned to her room.

The woman sat dumbstruck in the chair. It was clear that Nico knew his lie. Reana was bowed with both hands supporting her head which suddenly felt heavy. Without realizing it, her tears flowed. Reana can't imagine Nico's anger and sadness.

I'd better call, hopefully Brother Nico will forgive me. Oh, it feels so scared to meet him. I should be able to get an apology from her before returning home, Inner Reana.

Soon the woman grabbed her phone and called her husband's mobile phone number. However, Reana was unable to contact the man because she could not connect. Reana's heart grew more and more riled up. The woman thought about what happened.

"Sir Nico accidentally turned off his phone. He must be very angry. Brother Nico must be furious, oh how is this, why should I lie to him. What's wrong with being honest? Nope! Nope! I didn't intend to lie to him. I just don't want him to be sad because I went with Hasbi. They don't like each other, they may hate each other. Reana tries to shift her anxiety by doing her job. But even the woman was not concentrated. His mind was always on Nico's anger. Moreover, until now the woman is still not able to contact her husband.

What the hell's going on? Why can't his HP be contacted? What happened to Brother. Oh no, God! Please protect my husband, lest something bad happen to him, Reana cried.

Reana waits for her working hours to run out feeling impatient. Seconds by seconds, time passed so slowly. Reana wants to get to her apartment and wait for her husband or maybe she will come to her office.

No, Brother Nico could be upset if I came to his office. His mood is very bad at the moment. If I come, maybe Nico will get angry, Reana's inner self who finally decided to go straight to the apartment once her working hours are up.

Reana waited for her husband's return with an anxious heart. The woman was already planning to apologize straight away and explain what happened exactly. Reana didn't mean to lie to her husband for anything else. All of that was simply because he did not want Nico to think bad or even sad because Reana had gone with a man who did not like him.

While Reana anxiously waits at the apartment, Nico flees to her parents' house. She was in her room while she was still living with her parents before they moved abroad. Nico doesn't want to meet Reana. The man felt tired all day long withstanding emotions.

Wanted to curse the woman but could not bear it. Wanting to vent her anger but unable to look at Reana's crying face. Nico loved her too much to choose to endure her own pain to fall asleep. Hoping after that his anger subsided and ready to go home to meet his wife.

In her apartment, Reana had been waiting by preparing dinner for them. The woman turned to the wall clock and breathed a heavy breath. The later the night, the more worried the woman became. So tired of waiting that she fell asleep on the couch. Reana was startled by the sound of a bell ringing.

The sister? Why is it always so? Why not open the password yourself, asked Reana inwardly.

The woman opened the door immediately. However, surprised because Rommy who appeared and stood in front of him. Reana was astonished and panicked when she saw the look on her husband's best friend's face.

"Reana, come with me to the hospital! Nico critical. Car's accident!" rommy exclaimed in panic.
