CHAPTER 18 ~ Please... I'm ~
As usual Nico and Rommy wait for his friends on the bench of the DPRD. Dito who is still busy courting his SMU girl at the stop, while Ardi guidance thesis with his guidance lecturer.
"How's Reana doing?" ask Rommy.
"Udah is better" answered Nico briefly.
"What's better, the pain or your relationship?" rommy asked with a smile.
Nico chuckled, remembering last night's incident. Reana is ready to be brought home. Not carrying a helmet for Reana, they end up going through small streets to get to Reana's boarding house.

Nico immediately stood up, he couldn't wait to hear Ardi's explanation.

"Why ? I'll pay you your tuition" asked Nico in surprise.
"I can't take it" Reana replied, her voice softly sounding hoarse.
"Why?" ask Nico wonder.
"I can't accept Nico's kindness any more ?" answer Reana slowly.
"Why not get a scholarship ?" ask Nico to try to find another way out.
"My GPA is not qualified" Reana said briefly.
Nico frowned, astonished.
Reana understood Nico's confusion, since the girl completed the course of Numerical Analysis and became an impromptu lecturer replacing Suprapto who was unable to attend at that time.
Most of the students in his class thought the girl was a genius. Reana was uncomfortable with those people thinking that way. Sometimes they ask for help consulting about other courses, of course the girl is confused. He felt he knew nothing more than them.
Reana is not a genius girl with a high GPA. She is just a girl with an average IQ who happens to love math.
"I'm not smart in all courses" Reana explained with a flushed nose.
Nico breathed a heavy sigh.
"So you want to give up ? you know, if you release this semester, it means you have to repeat this semester in the next year" said Nico fretting, he even looks more panicked by Reana's decision.
Reana can imagine that, if this time had to take a college leave, next year had to repeat all the courses, maybe he would not be able to live it. Or even Reana won't be able to graduate on time.
Reana came back crying, slapping her face on both knees.
He persuaded the girl to accept his help. Nico feels guilty, Reana is short of money for his semester fee, it could be because it is used for hospital fees.

"Don't expect you to be able to contact him" Nico said after discarding Mr Malvin's business card.
Reana stared at the business card that had already flown partially blown away. Nico looked at the girl with annoyance.
"You don't want to accept my help, whatever, you want to add another semester for years, whatever, you want to give yourself to that man, whatever" Nico yelled louder and louder, his feelings are mixed up confused, sad, angry, jealous.

Then asking the girl to wait, Nico immediately went to the Secretariat to pay off Reana's semester arrears.
It didn't take long, Nico went back to see Reana, smiling he gave a sign of proof of Reana's tuition payment this semester.

Nico immediately pulled Reana's hand and took her away. Parked, Nico opens the door to a sports sedan for Reana. The girl was dumbfounded.
"I'm happy to take you for a walk on a motorcycle but I'm having a hard time getting a helmet for you" Nico said.
