Lara's Admirers

Lara's Admirers
Episode 56's

"This is the order..." Said the man.

Then he immediately approached me with a plastic package containing chicken porridge that we ordered.

"How much is it?" Ask aunty while reaching into her purse.

"Twenty thousand mbak."

"Oh, this is the money thank you."

After the aunt finished the business, we immediately returned to the hospital. The air outside is getting colder. The weather tonight also looks unusual. Tens of thousands of these celestial bodies are blocked by a collection of gray nebulae. It looks like it's going to rain soon, we need to get in before that happens.

When my aunt and I had just entered the hospital courtyard to return to the room, all of a sudden my eyes were fixed on a real object there.

"That was that man." My inner being in heart while continuing to highlight its clingy.

He was seen walking out of the ER room with his face down. His trousers were seen torn in some parts, probably due to rough friction from the asphalt as the accident progressed. The hoodie he was wearing also looked dirty and dusty, although it was dark black I could still see the fine grains of dust.

His footsteps were slightly dragged. It came from the opposite direction. His hand that was full of wounds now looks better. But I couldn't see her face clearly, her hair was too long to cover half of her face.

When we were only a few steps apart, he stopped in place for a moment. I don't know why my steps stopped at that moment. The man raised his face, raising his gaze. But I still couldn't see his face clearly. He smiled so broadly at me at that moment. I could see both eyes glistening in the dark staring straight at me. A sad look hidden behind her hair. A second later he immediately passed away from the hospital courtyard, going nowhere after this.

Slowly his figure simply disappeared from my sight when he arrived at the gate. I did not bother about the incident just now and immediately continued my journey. My aunt and I immediately headed for the elevator that was right in front of there.

"Why did you stop all of a sudden?" Ask auntie to be confused herself.

"Not bi." Reply I do not want to extend the discussion about this.

The doctors in the ER must have handled it really well. His skin looked like it was ready, there were no injuries at all. It looks like he's okay.

"Thank God he could be saved." My mind is in my heart.

Suddenly I was stuck in place. My whole body shook violently. I just realized one thing doesn't make sense. How could his skin re-integrate and instantly recover as it was? I didn't find any scars there. That doesn't make much sense. Plus there is one thing that makes me unable to pucker up. There is no way a patient who was treated in the ER with a condition that is already absolutely critical can walk alone without the help of anyone. Should he be saved, his condition should still be so weak and could not move too much. He must have run out of so much blood during the accident.

My mind started to drift everywhere. My legs felt so limp that they could not support my body anymore. Slowly, my body fell down until I finally sat in the elevator at that time. My face was dumbfounded still inexhaustible with the incident just now. I hugged my legs tightly, drowning my face in between. I was really in shock, what it was that I saw earlier was.....

"Ah, no way!" I murmured in my heart.

"Mbak why mbak? The pain is relapsing, right? Ouch..." Aunty.

"Not so bi..." Reply with a trembling voice.

I tried to get up from my position with the help of that woman. I kept convincing myself that if I was just hallucinating earlier, it might be the effect of the medicine I was taking. It couldn't have really happened to me.

"Auntie didn't see that guy who smiles the same way I stopped earlier?" I asked the woman.

"Where the hell is mbak?"

The woman standing before me looked confused on her own while scratching her non-itchy head.

"That's the one in front of us." I said again with great difficulty.

"There was no one there, just look into the ER room. The eyes look empty, like a daydreamer." Obviously aunt.

I don't know why the sentence that just worked made me shudder in horror. I could feel the fear running through my body. My whole feather stood straight for some reason. I feel like I'm in a bad condition.

I painstakingly sipped my own salivary. I still don't think about what I've been through.

"What do I see that is..... spirit?" Say slowly.

"Look what is it?"

"So we stopped I saw the guy who came out of the ER keep walking towards us bi, while smiling at me. Aunty time didn't see it?"

"Yes, I didn't see anything there."

"Don't joke around, this isn't funny..."

"Who's kidding mbak. I'm here and here near auntie so don't be afraid anymore."

Without a second thought I immediately hugged the woman so tightly. I tried to calm myself down, which was no longer good.

This is the first time I've seen a ghost in my entire life. I didn't even think that the man was an invisible creature. I guess all the ghosts would be creepy with a lot of cuts and stinging stench, just like in the horror movies I often watch. But it turns out not all ghosts are what I imagined. That man, that ghost earlier was more precise. Apparently it looks so perfect, I'm sure his face is very beautiful even though it is covered in hair. He must have been a good man during his life. It was a pity that if he had to leave so soon, he was still too young.

But still no matter what the shape and form of that one creature, whose name is still a ghost. This is an event I will never forget in my entire life. I will never come again to a place I have hated for a long time. This place left a bad impression in my memory. Maybe I'll be traumatized by this place. Not a few people have lost their lives here anyway. Indirectly, this sturdy standing building has its own mystical side.

Upon arriving in the inpatient room, I immediately sat myself on the bed. My eyes keep watching the surroundings, making sure that the invisible creature is not here. Even if I'm not sure if I can figure out where he is or not.

"It's a drink first let's calm down." My aunt told me to give me a glass of water.

I immediately sipped it until it ran out. Looks like my energy doesn't have much left. Everything just disappeared as soon as I realized what was really happening to me.

"This is the porridge at mbak." Aunty.

I don't know when he scooped the porridge and put it right in front of my mouth. How could I not have realized that. I seem to think too much about that. Alright, from now on I should immediately throw it away from my memory. Although it sounds like it's very hard to do.

"Not to be bi, let Eresha eat alone." I said then immediately took over the porridge package.

"Isn't it really all right?"

"Not really bi, after all aunt would also want to eat aunt's property."

"Yes, hehe..."

I smiled a little at the answer. Then eat my dinner for the umpteenth time. I don't know how many times I've eaten in a day, I can't count. It seems that after getting out of this place I have to walk a lot so that all the fat in my body burns.

Time goes on regardless of anyone around him. Keep moving and cycling every day, until in time everything will stop. When man is helpless before time.

When everything will stop automatically. When that time was at the end of his journey and ready to end it all. Sometimes the clockwork sound that keeps moving in the middle of the night like this sounds so creepy. A flat tone with the same tempo beats every second made the sound completely lifeless.

***

I stared at the wall clock that showed at one o'clock in the night. Aunt has fallen asleep on the couch in a pose I don't know what her name is. Surely today he must be very tired. While I couldn't close my eyes at all from earlier. Even though I tried my hardest, I still failed. Sometimes it's not that easy to put me to sleep at a time like this. I wish there was someone who could hypnotize me, so that I could fall asleep soundly tonight.

Suddenly someone from outside tried to open the door of this room and managed to get inside. From his appearance it seemed to be a man. After he opened his headgear, I could see his face clearly.

I smiled broadly and felt confused. But my happiness is much greater than anything else. He walked slowly toward me who was awake that night.

Brother Sendy took a seat under my bed, then placed himself there. He also smiled after I smiled first. It looked like it was raining outside, to the point that the hoodie was wet like this. But it seems like the rain is not too heavy, just a drizzle.

"Hi..." Greet him first.

"Hi too..." My reply.

"How are you doing now?" Ask Brother Sendy to me.

"So the nurse has started to improve. If I'm stable tomorrow, I can go straight home." I answered so excitedly.

"Thank God...."

I ventured to ask something that I felt a little strange.

"Why did the guard doctor allow you to come in here? Today's clock is over." My word.

"Oh, about that. I sneaked in carefully." The reply.

I just laughed when I heard the reply from the man. A while ago Arka also came here when the clock was up. They both always have a way of dealing with this. The two men were astute in taking advantage of the situation around him.

"So I said I'd come here tomorrow." My word.

But it's true that, on the phone, he said he would come here tomorrow.

"I was on my way here when I called you." Answer Brother Sendy.

I nodded slowly at his words.

"I shouldn't have turned it down earlier, if in the end my brother still insisted on coming here as well."

"It's okay, besides I haven't slept."

Now it doesn't matter if I can't fall asleep all night. I also have a friend to talk to right now. So there's no need to be afraid that I'll get bored again.

"Oh yeah, I have something." Enthusiastic words.

The curious me instantly turned into so spirit back then as well. I can't wait for something he'll show me. Both of my eyes kept staring fixedly at one of his hands that he had hidden behind his body since the beginning of the first entry into this room.

"Tw....ra!!!" He said while taking something out of there.

I don't know how to behave. There's something strange about Brother Sendy today. He didn't choose the wrong flowers for me, did he? I could only smile stiffly then take out a bunch of white chrysanthemum flowers that he gave me back then.

I watched the flowers from all directions and points of view. Who knows there are hidden messages like scenes in movies in general. I still can't figure out why he chose to give me this flower. He better buy me a rose, not much - just one stalk is enough.

"How do you like it, right?" Sendy asked a few seconds later.

I Bing had to answer him with what, I was afraid to even hurt his heart if I told him the truth. I know he must have taken pains to get this flower and brought it here. I don't want to let her down because I feel like all her work is in vain.

"S..su. But how should this flower?" Answer me carefully.

"So this is all that's left in the flower shop, because it's late." Obviously the man.

"There's actually no need to buy flowers as well."

"But I want you to be excited again."

I replied with a slightly forced smile. Instead of making me more excited, it made me feel a little scared.

In Korean culture, this flower symbolizes death or grief. In essence, I don't like things that aren't at all fun like that. Chrisanthemum flowers are often used in funeral ceremonies. I feel different with this flower.

Although this flower looks beautiful, but there is a dark story that I cannot accept. I try to think positively. Moreover, it is the culture in the ginseng country, in fact I am currently in Indonesia today. So maybe this flower won't bring anything.

"We don't like it?" Ask Brother Sendy.

"Ah? No way. I'll keep this." My reply.

Like he realized I was a little uncomfortable with this one. But I will still appreciate his efforts.

The man smiled faintly at me while caressing the top of my head. Then pinch a few strands of my hair, play them with her index finger. Sipping it in front of his nose. My hair seems to be cocaine to him.

"I have to go now, get well soon.I will miss your old cheer." Said Brother Sendy as he moved from his seat.

"What a hurry?" Prevent me.

"It's been a very late night, it's almost morning again." The man replied, pointing towards the clock.

Oh my God, how long have we been talking. I think I just asked you a few questions. I also still remember the number of sentences I said and the discussion we talked about earlier. Time really hunts everyone.

"I'm coming with ya..." I said half-washed.

"Well, you're still sick anyway."

"Every once..."

"Judah I took a walk somewhere for a while. But it's gonna have to come back here again."

I nodded quickly to say the word.

I hurried down from my bed, and placed the flowers on my bed. We walked out of the room very carefully while walking. If we get caught by the guard doctor, we can run out.

But it looks like the situation is safe. I didn't see anyone passing through the corridor even in the main ward. It looks like they're all asleep, but it's weird. At least there are always sisters passing in every hospital corridor every night. They alternated around from one room to another to check the condition of the patients they treated. Or sometimes there is also an operation that is carried out suddenly.

Until suddenly Brother Sendy stopped my steps. Now we're at the end of the hall. Just a little more to reach that ever-open gate. Why do we suddenly have to stop.

"Why brother?" Askaqua.

"Try closing your eyes tight. Imagine a place you want to go now, anywhere." His word.

"Could that?"

"Try it first..."

"Okay, where are you?"

The man nodded quickly at my words.

I immediately obeyed his order to close my eyes. Hopefully, I imagine being able to go back there once again. At the top of a hill, where I could see the full moon so beautifully.

But I don't think that's possible, that one place only exists in my subconscious. And I went there with the shadow of Brother Sendy who at that time I did not know. In addition, I was in a coma while traveling on that spiritual journey.

It doesn't make sense anyway if I can move somewhere just by closing my eyes like this. What does he think if we are now living in the world of fairies. Sometimes his mind likes to go on like this.

"Now open your eyes." Sendy's Brother's orders.

I slowly opened my eyelids, and found myself in that place right now. I can't believe what I'm seeing right now. The gusts of the night wind and the friction of the weeds at my feet felt so real. What kind of magic is he doing right now.

"It really?" I asked half in disbelief.

"Yes, of course. It looks like what you see now." Reply so calmly.

"But where can it be like this." Refute me.

"Power of imagination...." Said the man trying to convince me.

"So this is all my imagination?"

"Everything in this place is an object created from the power of your own mind."

"Why does it feel so real?"

"It's your faith that makes it feel more alive." Answer the man.

"Hows it? Do you like this place of your dreams?" Further.

I nodded quickly to his words. I never thought I'd be back here again. Today I am really happy. This place feels so calming.

"But unfortunately this place is only in my mind. I wish all these sights I saw were real. In any part of the world where this place is located, I will definitely visit it." I said with great enthusiasm.

"You can come here whenever you want. The key to all this is in your own mind, only you can control it." Obviously the man was understanding.

A moment later he took something out of his pants pocket. It was a necklace with eyes like a jewel that was so sparkling. The necklace was in the shape of a heart, very beautiful. The shine is so charming in the dark of the night.

"Wear this necklace." He said while putting it on my neck.

"Why was he given to me? This thing is too pretty for a girl like me." My reply is still fascinated by the beauty of this one gem.

"You deserve it." Firm Brother Sendy.

"Thank you..."

After that we lay barefoot on top of the grass population that was our mat at the time. Look at the full moon that shines alone all night. The night wind and the sounds of the animals of the night were successful in getting me carried away. This place is really a therapy that suits me.

"Why is the full moon always alone whenever I come here?"

I asked the man who was lying next to me at the time. He also seemed to enjoy the view of the night sky.

"Because he and something he loves can't be fused." The answer.

"Who does the moon love?"

"The sun."

"The sun?"

"Yes, they love each other. It's just that they can't be together because their nature is a different fabric. Many times they try to go against the flow of time in order to be together. But fate can't be changed." Evidently.

I was amazed to hear the story of the moon and the sun that he knew where to come from. Or maybe he made up the story himself. But it's not a serious problem. The story made my heart touched. It's a great idea and out of the box.
