Lara's Admirers

Lara's Admirers
Episode 41

From that day on, our relationship began to grow. We started trying to get away from each other, or maybe it was just me trying to get away from him. Arka's actions to avoid me were never in harmony with her heart. His eyes cannot lie.

Day after day had passed with time I had never noticed the change so quickly. Everything keeps changing, changing, evolving, until the time comes when all those changes must stop.

Today the announcement of the redistribution of each class. In this school every class increase, there will be changes. The occupants have not stayed in the class for three consecutive years. But another thing if he can maintain the semester value which is the benchmark for this school to determine how appropriate students are in the class.

One thing I can't digest well this time is, why in the last year I had to be in the top class. Not only that, the superior class means the competition there is super tight. To be honest I'm a bit pessimistic about that, I'm not a competitive person either. Luckily Stefani and Clara were in the same class as me. If Clara does not ask again why she can be one of the students in the class. His ability is no doubt. Me and Stefani, what they saw. Judging from any side we are still the same person, mediocre. Not too smart nor too stupid.

There were about fifteen students who made it into the superior class, including me. I don't know how to react. While students who are excluded from the class must be willing to be replaced by others.

And that means I will be in class with Arka, her name was mentioned first before my name.

"Gue sat with Clara ya." Stefani.

We approached two benches from the back row.

"Well! Who am I the same?" My complaint.

For now, only the two of them I know. I looked around me, each table was only able to accommodate two people. I finally took a position right in front of them, waiting for who would fill the seat next to me.

The room was almost full, but no one came to me. Everyone should be sitting here in pairs, because we have forty.

"Citt!"

Suddenly I heard like the sound of someone sliding a chair next to me. I'm probably not gonna be alone any more soon.

"Finally!" My mind with relief.

I suddenly raised my head that had been slightly bowed down because it was almost desperate.

Damnit damnit! Why does that guy have to be Arka. My spirit suddenly dissipated, my head bowed back limp.

Besides, I can't tell him to move or vice versa. All the tables are fully filled. Why it happened must be exactly the same as in the cafeteria at that time.

"Welcome to the class." Said Arka in a flat tone.

I don't know exactly who that sentence was directed to.

"Don't bow down to the fairies, your crown will fall." Arka.

Then one of his hands reached into my chin, making me look straight ahead.

I was surprised by Arka's treatment.

"Since when do fairies have crowns?" I asked innocently.

"Now the fairy has become a queen. He left the dwarf alone, and returned with the king to the palace. But dwarves will never hate fairies. The elf will continue to live and be immortal in his heart." Arka Clear.

What breakfast was this guy just now, until he was suddenly this wash. I can only shake my head to see Arka's behavior.

"Eh, it's not incarnated any more precisely." Said Arka while scratching his head that does not itch.

"Continue?"

"She was basically a queen. The queen who disappeared from her own kingdom."

I say his word.

A few minutes later, our new homeroom teacher arrived in the classroom.

"Good morning, kids!"

"For Ma'am!"

I don't know exactly what his name is. I did see him quite often in this neighborhood, but he seemed to be a teacher specially appointed to teach third grade students only.

"My name is Nur's mother." Said the middle-aged woman.

So his name is Nur. All the disciples focused only on that woman, including me.

"Mom will be your homeroom teacher from now on." Rigorously.

"And mother taught the field of Chemistry studies for the entire twelfth grade."

I nodded in understanding. It seems that he is not a typical killer teacher in general when viewed from his appearance. But it wasn't enough to be a yardstick for me. We cannot judge people by their appearance alone.

"Well for today we will immediately start the intensive teaching and learning activities as usual." Bu Nur explained.

My head was dizzy instantly, my brain was already very tangled. Chemistry is not my field, rather almost all majors. It should have been that the IQ test results at the time of the managerial selection process did not lead me to the IPA. You could say the value for majors is not too good, such as physics, chemistry, biology, compulsory mathematics and interest mathematics. Its value is always on the verge of safety even though it cannot soar as much as I expected, but it is not so disappointing as well. It was enough to remain in the top fifth rank in the class. But in this class I'm not sure I can hold that position.

Maybe I should have just entered SMK, then majored in language. My report rate is pretty good in the language field. Like English and German for example. Last time, in the last semester I got ninety-four marks for German and eighty-six for English. My language score was never below eighty except in Indonesian.

"Please create your own study group of five. Starting from now, please." Bu Nur explained.

I'm busy right away, hoping Clara wants a group with me. He's all I can hope for right now, a group with chemical olympic kids will keep me safe during class.

"We're a bunch of ya... Please..." I said with a little bit of clarity.

"Have you done, we're all a bunch of okay?" Arka Timpal.

The three of us just kept quiet.

"But only four people. There is still less than one." Stefani Tungkas.

"Woy! Adit! Here you are." Sahut Arka from across while waving his hand.

The object in question seemed to have received information from the incident just now and responded instantly.

"What?" Ask Adit.

"Lo same bunch of four of us." Said Arka to the point.

"Huh?! How about the Titan, when I stay with him alone." Adit protested against this man.

"Udahlah, he was after all a group with Bianca. He must be safe, trust me." Arka Clear.

Adit turned his head for a moment towards the crowd next to him. He snorted bitterly, cursing at his own friend.

"Gini deh, now your position is not clear. If you join us, I guarantee the value of your chemistry for group work this time will not disappoint. Look here all the olympic kids." Obviously Arka once again, tried to convince Adit.

"Hhh! What kind of negotiation is this." My mind is in my heart.

"Except Stefani anyway." Sindir Arka smooth to the girl that one.

"Have a son! Gini-gini I am also good at itung-kuntas. I work so love now." Stefani is trying to keep his position.

"We'll see later." Reply Arka while smiling cunningly.

We are all in a chemistry lab. The place I hate the most besides the hospital. I thought I'd give up when I saw the test tube, the glass of the elementyer, and the spritus heater in front of me.

I took a long breath. Comeon! It's the first day of the semester. Do you seriously want to directly practicum, even without the delivery of the material first before. Basic class of excellence, it's worth it they're always flattered.

I wear a practicum suit and mask without the slightest spirit. This morning everything just went away.

"Alright this time we will do the testing of acid and base solution. Mother has provided some solution on the table of each group. Later that solution you give the indicator solution in the bottle using a drip dropper. Then observe the color change, calculate the concentration of the solution and report your work submitted to the mother after the lesson ends." Obviously, Bu Nur did not miss anything.

"Good ma'am!" Reply to us simultaneously.

That meant that the practicum had started, everyone instantly turned busy instantly. Practicum time is only 3x45 minutes. I'm not even sure I can do everything on time.

"How much solution should be tested?" I was in my heart while counting the dark colored bottles in front of me.

"Okay, we split the task." Arka.

For this time in addition to his old position as class president, Arka has also just been appointed as the chairman of our group.

All eyes were instantly fixed on him, staring at that one man with a very serious expression. Even Stefani was subject to Arka's orders. His leadership spirit is clear, no doubt about it.

"Clara and Adit mixed the solution, I'm the same Stefani who calculated the concentration, Eresha who saw the color change the same for the report." Arch Instructions.

My eyes instantly rounded perfectly after knowing my recently shared task. This is not fair! Definitely not fair. Others get only one task and are done simultaneously. I have two tasks at once. He was completely sane when he spoke like that.

"Now that!"

I immediately opened my voice protesting this injustice.

"Well, what else, the report must be made with one person, right? In part, if you make a report together it will be ngawur." Answer Arka casually.

"Did he not feel guilty?" My mind is in my heart.

The rest of the group could do nothing to help me. Even though I know they're eager to give me a little defense. But this time they just let go, including me.

What a cunning leader! This is what is called a leader. Arka's changed, not like I used to know. Hh, maybe he just wants revenge with me.

Inevitably, with a heavy heart I was forced to do all that alone. After all this for the sake of my first grade, there must be a bit of sacrifice.

The atmosphere of the laboratory that was once so quiet and silent is now suddenly boisterous and crowded. Everyone panicked, including me. The remaining time is five minutes, while our report..... I haven't even transferred the test data to this paper. Oh my..... Arghh! I have to how.

"Fuck dong!"

Arka told me to go a little faster. But in fact he himself did not help me one bit. I chose not to comment on his words just now. It would just be a waste of my time, for nothing. How the report is far more important than what he says.

"Here you!"

Arka suddenly snatched the ballpoint from my hand. He also took over my report paper.

"Tests!"

It was also the incident that made us all surprised not to play happened. The thick red liquid coming out of my hand dripped over the white object, leaving a slight stain there.

Arka who had wanted to write the rest was immediately stunned, fixated on her place now. He then told Adit to continue my work, with as good as his will. Just try not to do this all of a sudden and let me finish it myself. This is definitely not going to happen.

I held the wound while grimacing in pain. The wound was not too wide, but the blood never stopped flowing. I didn't expect that a 0.5mm ballpoint tip scratch could be so painful.

"It's okay, right? Duh... Really sorry. I didn't know it would happen." Said Arka apologizing.

From his expression it was obvious that this time he really felt guilty. The anxiety cannot be overcome.

"The events of the future are always unable to be predicted. There are a million mysteries. Maybe if man knew all the bad things in his future, he would definitely avoid as much as possible. Man can be so perfect if he really knows it." My mind is in my heart.

He took my hand, tried to stop the blood. But still no change. The only best option must be immediately taken to the UKS. I have to hold on, just a few more minutes.

After the class dissolved, Arka pulled me to the UKS to get a handle on it.

Thankfully, his blood had finally stopped. The pain had also been much lessened than the previous one.

Arka sits in a long chair near the door of the UKS. His face slightly bowed, his bangs almost covering his handsome face. The look on his face turned sad, what an amazing change of emotions. His eyes were blankly shining towards the ceramic tiles below.

"It's over." Said the mother of the guard of the UKS.

"Thank you ma'am." Reply while leaving the place.

Without saying a word, I pulled the hand of the pensive Ark. I took him out of the room. Now change me who's gonna drag this shitty guy into class.
