Lara's Admirers

Lara's Admirers
Episode 35's

I went down the stairs for breakfast in the kitchen. This time I walked a bit fast, my face bowed watching my footsteps.

"Grandmother's healed?" Then I approached the old woman.

"Dear baby." The reply.

I lowered my face to kiss her already wrinkled cheeks. That meaningful smile was fluffy adorning his face which still looked pale. In the last few days after she was discharged from the hospital, her condition has been long enough to improve. Although the doctor has said that if grandma is okay, grandma still looks weak now.

As usual I don't really like filling my stomach with heavy food in the morning. I put a few scoops of my favorite peanut butter on some of the loaves of bread I took. Then, mixed with a glass of milk.

"If you eat do not while playing mobile phone dong." Grandmother said.

"Eh, yes, grandma." I answered and immediately put down my phone.

I was checking who knew Arka was sending me a message. It turns out that there isn't, after all it's not a big enough problem.

After finishing breakfast, I still haven't seen Arka in front of my house. Maybe today he couldn't pick me up like he used to and he forgot to tell me. I decided to take the bus like I used to do.

All the seats were full, and again I had to stand and hold on to the ring. I remember the first time I met Arka on the bus, she followed me on purpose. To be honest, I still feel amused if I remember the behavior of Arka at that time. Either I was on the same bus or not.

I stopped at a stop near the school, then walked a bit to the school. This place has started to get crowded, I smiled a little while taking a deep breath.

Suddenly someone pulled my hand from behind. Then I turned around and found out who the owner of the hand was.

"Congratulations?"

The man had arrived at school, still with his jacket that he had not been able to open from the parking lot.

"I'm sorry I couldn't bring you to school. I had to take my mom to the office."

"It's nothing, it's a normal time. Eh, but how did your mama tumben go with you? Not in the car?"

"Mama forgot that today's car schedule for changing parts."

"Oh." Answer me while nodding my head.

We walked to class together, although we had to go in different directions after being right in front of the stairs.

Classes are also quite crowded, surely Stefani has arrived. Sure enough, suddenly the girl immediately greeted me with her embrace.

"Why the hell?" I asked while trying to escape from the grip of this crazy girl.

"Lo ain't nothing, is it? All right, all right?"

"Can you see for yourself, right?"

Stefani shined me from toe to toe. Then he heaved a sigh of relief while holding his chest.

"Why the hell?"

"Yesterday he said you fainted all of a sudden."

"Where are you from?"

"And last night I called you, I wanted to tell you that I got a job at the cafe."

His face immediately turned so gleeful.

"Serious reception? Good." My reply.

Stefani just nodded then continued her unfinished story.

"But the one who picked up my phone was Arka, and he said that you were taken to the hospital again. I asked you where she was going to take her directly to matiin his phone."

"Oh." Short reply.

"Sorry if last night I didn't have time to look at you, because Arka didn't want to tell you the place."

"It's okay. It's okay."

***

Clara peeked at Eresha and Arka who had just stepped out of the parking lot towards the classroom. For now he could do nothing even though his heart screamed to see all that. He leaned himself behind the pillars of this building. His face turned moody, he hoped that Arka still had a little taste left for him. Every time he passed Arka, in his heart there was always a hope that he could not express. That sentence would sound too strange to be uttered by a woman who loves her man too much. For now it feels like Clara can only take everything. Why not if Arka is happy with Eresha, it feels like that is more than enough for her. Seeing the man smile off without a burden.

"Why ra?" The Ark suddenly flashed in front of him.

Class Arka and Stefani are next to each other, so almost every day Arka passes through the streets in front of this girl class.

Clara looked up her face which had been bowed bitterly.

"Eh Arka, it's not really." Clara tried to cover it all up.

"Why are you sad?"

"No, my feet fell and fell. So I hurt her, so my eyes are glazed." Clara tried to find another reason.

Arka bent her body to see the condition of the legs of the girl who used to be her lover for a while. Sontak Clara was surprised not to play to see Arka's treatment to him.

"Which one?" Ask Arka while still observing the girl's feet.

"Into the shoes there's no look."

"Mending to the UKS."

Clara nodded softly confirming the words of the man in front of her. Arka stood up straight again and rushed from that place to her class.

"Lo know you? If that hurt is actually my heart." Clara muttered slowly.

Clara held back her tears that were about to fall from her eye sashes. This girl again raised her head so that the liquid did not fall. He looked at the blue sky above. But who would have guessed earlier if this time his eyes would meet a glance with Eresha who was looking down from the top floor.

Eresha's face looks so flat, no expression at all that adorns her beautiful face. But even so, his eyes were truly meaningful. Clara gave a small smile while still highlighting Eresha's clinging. The girl who was highlighting him from above, returned her smile rather unwillingly.

"Did Eresha see it all?" The mind in the heart.

Clara took her eyes off the girl, then ran into the classroom. Do you know how Clara feels now? Now he feels wrong, he doesn't know what to do.

***

I don't know why Clara looked at me like that. His eyes also look teary. Did she just cry, or was she going to cry? Plus he smiled at me. Though all this time I knew if Clara did not like me so much because of my relationship status with Arka. But her smile just now looked so sincere, I know that. I don't know what happened to him. What's clear today is that she's not what she used to be, unlike a Clara I know. Lately, it has also changed.

I go back to class, soon the bell sign that the first lesson will sound.

***

"Stef." My solute.

"Oits?"

"Cantin yuk, laper nih."

"So soon, I'll finish the book first."

We rushed to the cafeteria before running out of seats. Luckily, there were some empty tables there. We enjoy chicken noodles that are still warm, if the cool term is "fresh from the oven".

"Hi, can I sit here?"

Suddenly the voice appeared. I raised my head to look for the source of the sound.

"Room here?" Ask Stefani ketus.

"May I eat with you?" Clara pleaded again.

Although there were still some empty seats, why did he choose to sit here.

Stefani looked at me, I lifted both my shoulders and then went back to sipping chicken noodle soup. Stefani sizzled softly, but I could still hear him.

"Judah yes." Stefani replied with a loud snort.

"Thank you stef, sha." He said with a big smile.

"Hm." Reply to us simultaneously.

"Emang lo don't have friends until we have to keep the same?" Ask Stefani plainly.

I reflexively stopped my activities, then listened to their conversation.

"No."

Clara shook her head slowly. Wait her face that had been so gleeful immediately turned grim.

"One person?" Stefani made sure.

"One person." Clara nodded.

"Stef! Been already. Clara is sad." My timpal.

"Udah continue to eat it." I said to both of them.

We were back to enjoying the food in front of us.

"Sha!" Sahut Clara's.

"Who is that?" Ask Clara innocently.

"Which one?" Means back.

I spread my gaze all over. Comeon! this is the cafeteria, there are a lot of men here.

"Just picked you up yesterday on your way home from school. When you're still marahan the Arka." Evidently.

I tried to remember what happened a few days ago. It's possible that the incident still sticks in my memory.

"Which one is it?" Means back.

I surrender! My memory really sucks. I'm upset with myself.

"Do you forget or pretend to forget? It could be that you walk with another guy when you are the same Arka again not all right." Evidently.

I held back my emotions from overflowing. I'm sure that the man Clara was referring to was Sendy's sister.

"Lo's cheating?"

Clara accused me with a slightly doubtful tone.

"That's my friend, Arsi's son." Answer me calmly.

"That means you went to college?"

I nodded, saying his words.

"The Arka's also." Connect me.

"Oh, great. At least that means you're no more hypocritical than me." His word.

"God! You mean what? If you just want to find because of mending there deh." Stefani cried while pushing slowly Clara's body.

But there was absolutely no resistance from Clara, she just stayed in place. Not a little wrinkle.

"Just want mastiin really, so that Arka does not hurt anymore. So that his old wounds don't open again."

"BRAKE!!!"

My emotions are at the peak of patience, I can't stop them anymore. I picked up the chopsticks lying on the bowl and put them right in front of Clara's face. I almost did something beyond my senses.

"If Arka gets hurt again, it will be difficult to recover." Clara said with a meaningful glint from the look in her eyes.

"Geez!" A familiar voice shouted my name from a distance.

I was too emotional to just look towards the source of the sound. Suddenly my hand shook violently, the stainless chopsticks fell to the floor and made a clanking sound.

Arka came to the scene shortly. He grabbed my chin with his hand. Making my face that had been bowed, met his eyes.

"You want to fuck Clara?" Ask Arka in a high tone.

I can only shut up, there are no words I can say. There was nothing to defend me, because this time I was completely wrong.

"Control your emotions sha! I'm disappointed in you." Said Arka whose emotions were ignited at that time.

"Eresha is not wrong, I started first." Clara confessed.

Just try not to throw a sentence that hurts my heart, surely this will not happen.

"No ra! I saw for myself Eresha wants to hurt you." Reply Ark.

"I hate you!" The harsh words were thrown out of Arka's mouth just like that.

Those rude comments without humanity immediately hit my heart hard.

"Jude, are we breaking up?" I asked to reply to her words just now.

I actually don't want to say that word at all. My tongue fell out instantly after saying that sentence just now.

"No!" Answer it firmly.

"Why is it maintained that in the end it only wounds each other?" I asked with a heavy heart.

"If you get hurt again, it'll be hard to recover." I continued my words that had paused.

"We solved this problem at BK's office." Said Arka while pulling my hand and Clara.

He dragged us into BK's room. A terrorized place that no student would want to enter.

Ms. Wati started interrogating the three of us "So what's your problem?"

"Eresha almost harmed Clara in the canteen." Arka Clear.

"Is that true Eresha?" Ask Ms. Wati to me.

I nodded resignedly, I did not dare to return the horrifying look of his eyes at all.

"On the basis of what problem?" Ask Bu Wati again.

"I'm wrong ma'am, I'm stoked with emotion." My answer.

"No ma'am, I was wrong. I started first, I've accused Eresha of nonchalance." Tell Clara honestly.

"You two are wrong!" Resolute Bu Wati.

"You two are law! Stand in honor of the flagpole until the hour comes home." Said Bu Wati.

It's still the first hour of rest, now around half ten in the morning. While the new school is returned if it is two in the afternoon. Do I have to stand there for about four and a half hours? I'm not too sure if I can finish this. But I don't want to be a loser, this time I was wrong and had to accept the consequences.

***

"I'm sorry sha." Clara said as we were both on the pitch.

"I'm sorry too." I said without turning my face towards him.

"Arka still loves you." Her speech.

"Where are you from? Don't worry about it." My reply.

"The evidence was right you asked to break up, Arka didn't want to, right?"

"I'd be horrified if he said he hated me."

"He lied when he said that."

"The expression is too convincing for you to say he's lying."

"Lo lied to yourself too."

"Me?"

"Lo lied when you said you wanted to break up from Arka."

Again I managed to shut down. How does he know about all this.

"High your eyes can't lie." Further

Clara just laughed softly in response to my words.

"You're pale in face, are you sick?" Ask Clara.

The look on his face turned anxious, he lowered his hand in respect. Unbelieving all the things he said, I reflected from the reflection of my phone. It's true I'm pale, but why.

"Bring up no lipbalm?" I asked Clara.

A girl who is very appearance-preserving, like Clara must have had that little thing. Clara nodded then reached into her pocket.

"It." Clara thrust her lipbalm at me.

I immediately took the thing out of his hand and ate it in secret so that no one would see.

"Still looking pale?" Ask me to make sure.

"No." Answer's short.

It just so happened that Clara's lipbalm had a light pink color that I thought was enough to cover my pale lips.

"Thanks yes." I said while returning her lipbalm.

Clara nodded slowly.

"Why are you so pale?"

I'm trying to avoid "Ah, at least drink."

"Lo's sick?"

"Not really." Reply quickly.

"Why do you choose to cover it up?"

"I'm not covering, just fixing."

***

Finally our punishment is over, my legs are really sore at the moment. Clara and I sat on the field with tired faces, we turned our backs to each other so we could lean on each other.

All the students are out of their classes. I hope someone will help us get out of this place.

"Geez!" Sahut Stefani while running towards me.

I smiled with relief at the end of the cute girl came here while carrying two bags in both hands.

"It's lo sha's bag." He said while giving me my bag.

"This is lo ra's bag." He said with a sharp tone.

"Thank you very much." Reply Clara.

"Do not care first, I just kasian just the same lo because you do not have friends. So as a person who still has the sense of humanity yaudah I bring deh bag lo."

"Yes, it's nothing. Thanks again." Reply Clara with a stiff smile.

"But remember yes. Once again you look for the same because I let alone the same Eresha, abis lo." Threatening Stefani seriously.

I'm trying to break them both up "Not fight, go home yuk." Take me.

"Here I help you stand." Stefani then extended her hand to me.

I managed to get up, but suddenly my body lost its balance. Luckily the two of them immediately prevented my body from falling down. It felt like my head was dizzy all of a sudden, did my vertigo recur.

"Ko why sha?" Ask Stefani.

"Dizziness." Short reply.

I closed both my eyes, it felt like the sun was now more piercing into my eyes.

"Your face is pale too." Timpal Clara's.

"We went to the UKS first time?" Stefani.

"UKS is closed, anyways this is what time." Ketus Clara's.

"Udah, go to the gate. I'll be picked up by my brother soon too." I told them both.

Eventually the two of them stopped fighting like children. They pushed me to the gate. I'm sure no one will see my condition now including Arka, after all the school is very quiet now I'm sure if he has reached his house.

"We are under that tree." Stefani.

They took me there while still supporting my already helpless body. I hope Renata keeps her promise and comes here soon. My head is really hurting right now, it can't stand it anymore

"Sha?"

A fresh arc passed in front of us, got off his motorcycle and then approached me.

"You why sha?" He said with one of his hands cupping my cheek.

I didn't touch the question at all. I turned my face away from her.

"He why?"

Arka was still trying to get her answer from these two girls.

"No, you know all of a sudden he's like this." Answer Stefani.

I saw a taxi pull over in front of me, I was pretty sure that Renata was inside. Gathering all the remaining energy I had, I removed my grip from the two girls. I walked towards the taxi door with staggering steps. And again I lost my balance before I could reach the door, which is more unfortunate why my consciousness also disappeared. Damnit damnit!

***

Arka immediately caught Eresha's body. Fortunately, Renata got out of the taxi and approached the crowd.

"Bring it in the taxi." Renata's orders.

Arka carried him into a taxi, then he followed the car in front of him on a motorcycle. While the two girls could only wait for information from Arka, they could not go along with Eresha.

"BRUKK!!!"

Suddenly from the opposite direction there was a car that went against the current and then accidentally hit the motorcycle Arka. His body immediately bounced to the end of the road.

Hearing the sound of the commotion, Renata suddenly did not find Arka who had been following them from behind.

"Sir stop sir!" Renata.

Renata gets out of the taxi leaving her brother unconscious. He ran towards the crowd far behind him.

"Take that taxi, sir, this is my friend." Renata.

Without a second thought, the people gathered at the scene immediately carried Arka into the taxi. Luckily, his head did not bleed, because Arka was always obedient traffic wherever he went.

"Why are you guys so gini anyway?" Said Renata who was increasingly made to panic with Arka's condition.

The taxi drove at full speed to the hospital on Renata's orders. There are two lives to be saved. They mean too much to waste their lives.

When they arrived at the hospital, they were treated professionally. Renata cannot accompany Arka who is in the IGD right now. He can't go in there anyway. While Eresha was immediately taken to the doctor's room that handled it yesterday. The doctor suggested that Eresha immediately do the ronsen on the part of his head. Until now Eresha's condition is still unconscious.

"How's the doc of my sister's condition?" Asked Renata worried.

"In a moment the results will come out, for a while we wait until Eresha is conscious first." Answer doctor.

"Nice doc."

Renata approached her most beautiful sister lying weakly on the bed. He still hopes that nothing will happen to his brother at this time.

***

Again I tried to open my eyelids and found myself in a place I hated so much.

"Are you aware of the deck?" Renata.

I held my head which still hurt a little.

"We're sitting there yuk, we see your ronsen test results." Renata.

Renata led me to the doctor's desk. We're waiting for the doctor to get my ronsen test results in the lab.

Soon the doctor returned with a brown map. Then he took out some photos of the organs in the motor controller from all over my body.

"Alright according to the test results, there's something serious I have to tell you." The doctor said while heaving heavily.

I got more nervous, my palms broke out in cold sweat instantly.

"You have meningitis." Doctor's talk.

It's a foreign term to me. I don't know what kind of disease it is, even though I'm a high school student majoring in IPA.

"What disease is doc?"

Renata's question just now was quite representative of me as well.

"It is an inflammatory disease of the lining of the brain that if left longer, does not rule out the possibility to thin life expectancy."

My eyes were perfectly rounded after hearing the explanation of the person in the white coat. What disease I am suffering from right now is that severe. I hope it's just a nightmare and I wake up soon.

"That means..." Renata was unable to continue his sentence.

The doctor nodded.

"For now is my condition severe doctor?" My toot.

"For now the condition of the sister is not too severe, but also can not be taken lightly as well. Because it could be that his condition is getting worse as time goes on." Obviously the doctor.

"Can I recover doc?" Asked Renata expectantly.

"Of course you can. There are a lot of people out there who also have this disease and have recovered."

"Then can my sister still recover doc?"

"For now we still have that chance."

The doctor re-inserted the results of his ronsen test into the map and then handed it to Renata.

"Did my sister have been exposed to the scorching, extremely hot sun?" Ask the doctor.

"Yes doc once, I used to be a member of the marching band and we happened to do a lot of hot-panning dock exercises." Reveal me.

"Then, from now on, please stop the activity for your health."

"Nice doc."

"And maybe your history of vertigo is an early indication of this disease. So from now on do not be too often exposed to the sun that is too stinging, do not think too much, do not stress, and also do not be too tired especially to reduce your sleep hours." It was the doctor who gave me advice.

"Nice doc." My reply.

"If not, your condition will get worse and worse."

The doctor warned me once again.

"Okay doc, thank you." Say goodbye.

This is what is called destiny. I can't avoid this, even though this isn't what I want. Even though I knew if everyone would definitely return to God, I still could not accept this reality. When I come back to him on this path, whether those who love me will object to the way God calls me home or not. Why am I thinking about that. The person I thought would love me with all his heart, turned out to be the opposite.

Mom and Dad, they never even called me to ask me how I was here. The image of someone I thought would love me forever, turned out a few hours ago to have changed drastically.

"Sister." I said to Renata.

At least before I left, I had done one good right that could help me later in a different realm.

Renata gawked in disbelief at what she had just heard, "You just called me brother?"

I nodded weakly.

"Don't tell anyone this is the same. Only the two of us can know, and God." My speech.

"Including our family?"

"Yes. Including mama, papa, grandma, and the others."

"But sha, they deserve to know."

"I beg you." I said with a slightly clear tone.

"Okay, but I don't promise."

I nodded, saying his words. At least for now they still do not know although someday surely Renata will dismantle everything.

"Sha, there's something you should know about Arka." Renata.

"Why the Arka?"

"He was in an accident."

My eyes are wide open, please slap me. This time I beg you if I'm just having a nightmare.

"Couldn't you? How's story?"

"So when you passed out earlier, Arka took our taxi from behind to follow you to the hospital." Renata.

He said Arka was following me, why she still cares about me. Yet with so clear the rough sentence was thrown from his mouth. And it really reached my ears without the slightest mistake.

"Where is he now?" My toot.

"GOD."

Me and Renata who followed my steps behind rushed towards the IGD room. I ran in a limp, because my condition was not very stable. My pair of eyes were fixed on someone lying helplessly inside there. Slowly my body weakened, my legs trembled so much that they could no longer support me. I was sitting limp on the floor, my face down regretfully. Tears that I couldn't stand anymore flowed down my cheeks. I bit my lips so as not to sob, but my cry became more and more.

Renata helped me to sit in the waiting chair. I can't speak anymore.

"Ma-ma Arka u-told you about this?" I asked Renata while sobbing.

Renata shook his head.

"Why!"

I immediately pulled out my phone and called Mama Arka. I know this is bad for everyone close to Arka, but they should know about this pain.

"Ha-hello Aunt. Arka accident, na-later I share loc." I told Mama Arka.

I turned off the phone, I really couldn't tell you everything. I immediately shared this location and sent it to his Mama Arka number.

"Sister Sendy." I muttered slowly.

After all, Brother Sendy is Arka's friend too. I finally decided to tell the man about it.

***

A woman in a black suit with a bag on her shoulder came in hasty steps.

"Why sha?"

"He was in an accident Auntie, there was a car that went against the current and instead hit Arka."

"Geez!"

I immediately hugged the woman, she looked so fragile. I'm trying to strengthen it, even though I'm not sure if it'll work.

"Sorry Eresha Aunty, this is all Eresha's fault so Arka could be like this." Whisper me in Mama Arka's ear.

Arka's mother was still so devastated. He does not want anything to happen with this child. He didn't want to until Arka left him. Enough of his papa to go, not with Arka.

"It's not your fault baby, it's an accident. No one is to blame."

The middle-aged woman stroked my back slowly.

"But this is not what Eresha wants."
