We, Without Me

We, Without Me
Disillusioned

“No way,” muttered Keven riled. I can't believe what I just heard.

His knees suddenly relaxed, but he was forced to walk away. Slowly but surely Keven ran. Loosen the collar of the shirt that has been opened two buttons. Swabbed rough cold sweaty neck. It is suffocated by the free air that is in fact the source of life.

A moment of rough breathing from the mouth. Plunged arms with clenched hands resting on the body of the car to support a limp body. Don't ask me if Keven's mind is clearly raging.

‘Where are you?’ keven wondered. His gaze momentarily descended, staring at the sliced food pouch that had been proud of. He vaguely imagined a large bag beside Yuki's mattress.

Swiping his face, Keven now remembered, not only a big bag but also a suitcase that was beside the mattress. “Stupid!” as if Keven was angry with himself.

That day Keven staunchly brought food for Yuki and Dimas. Had also been peered at the part of the room that only consists of one bedroom and bathroom, clearly emblazoned with many items that are being packaged. Even some cardboard boxes were still open, just the contents of instant food and a little tooling did not make Keven suspicious at the time.

Brak!

The clenched hand shook. The pain is not felt. Not even enough to vent all the burning emotions.

Without waiting long Keven drove his car. Speeding and breaking through the crowd in the middle of a crowded lunch hour. Keven's only destination, Yuki's kos-kosan.

“Dia ..” Keven's voice hangs along with the brake pedal that is stepped on deeply. His body bounced slightly, but still fixedly stared at the figure who locked the door of Yuki's boarding house.

Keven got out of the car. Swinging footsteps in a hurry.

“Babysitter Saka?”

Climbing, the teenage girl in front of Keven turned her head. “Oom them Om Saka Kak Yuki's ex-husband, right?” todong Nita with narrowed eyes due to glare. His face that looked up inevitably had to face the scorching glint of the sun that afternoon.

“Iya.” Nude Keven.

“Nyari Kak Yuki?”

“Iya.” Take Keven again.

“No. I'm leaving,” said Nita while shaking her head.

“Go? Where to?!” asked Keven in a demanding tone.

“Say to where KKN used to be,” replied Nita plain. “Tadi Abang interin to Port. Old ... Oya, babysitter Angga, not babysitter Om Saka.”

As though deaf, Keven heeded Nita's last words. Gegas Keven ran to his car. Brutally turn the steering wheel. Again he was speeding on the streets with the sound of a horn that kept on muttering.

While Yuki who ravaged the whole body of Keven was smiling sweetly at Dimas. The two are mutually nudging and insinuating their own way of life. But all that is not enough to close the longing in Dimas' eyes even though Yuki's departure has not happened. Had Yuki been a little more sensitive, perhaps he could have interpreted the veiled meaning of the smile under Dimas's sad gaze.

“People are responsible if I get to the Ara dipiting,” blank Dimas.

“Stupid time, the important thing is not me.”

“Wah very restless. He's the one who didn't tell Ara, but I'm the one who became a victim.”

“Quietly, Ara already has a handler. If until he miting or touch you a little, believe Mr. Rava will love more than that. Hahaha ..” Yuki's laughter broke, content to imagine Dimas shrinking like a rotten eggplant.

“There ride! Later left by ship nangis.” Dimas's two hands clung behind Yuki's shoulders, pushing slowly for the girl to quickly move up the ship.

“Let me call Ara when I get there. I go first yeah ...,” Yuki said as she patted Dimas's arm. Reviewing a thin smile and turning around. The girl pulled a suitcase full of determination. The more the steps are swung, the more clear the ro-ro boat to ride.

In an instant Yuki's shadow disappeared from Dimas's sight. Leave a sense of gamang over the distance that is soon created. Now Dimas just wants to sit in the waiting chair until the sign of the sailing ship is heard, making sure that Yuki has really gone from City B.

Unlike Keven who is still struggling to navigate the road. It was not even uncommon for his fist to land roughly onto the thigh. Just one more turn Keven made it to the main port gate. Unfortunately for a moment his brain seemed to freeze, locking the blood pump in the heart. The view of the ship in the middle of the ocean that sailed away made Keven even more afraid.

“Please, don't go again,” pinta Keven with various denials at heart.

Unfortunately reality did not match Keven's expectations. Yuki has spread his hands, allowing himself to be hit by a strong wind in the style of a phenomenal film. Smiling satisfied like victory could leave City B full of memories. Unbeknownst to him there is a figure who is almost crazy because of his sudden departure.

Keven hates the reality. Hating her who let go of Yuki. Hating his love so stupid that it was too late to realize.

Keven had difficulty walking because his right leg was sprained. Now the port is no longer Keven's destination, turning into an airport that is the only hope. But what he faced again did not match expectations.

Snoring with his face sinking in both palms, Keven was at a loss for words. His brain was empty, not a single word Keven could think of.

...----------------...

“Kev .. You know Yuki left today?” mama Agni asked while putting on a serious expression. Sontak stopped Keven who was about to go to his room. Though he had just entered the living room of the two-story house.

“Mama know where?” Instantly Keven glared.

“Yuki.”

“Mama know and don't tell me?!” Keven's voice suddenly shot up. Now not only his eyes are bulging, but Keven's jaw is hardened with his hands clenched on the side of the body.

“Where would you like to tell me that you never came home?” mama Agni replied while turning her face, quite wrong after finding the response of the child.

“Mama knows Mama can tell me without me having to go home. Why is Mama silent? When did Mama know that Yuki was leaving?!” Keven's face turned flat, covered in nanar that spread from the eyeball.

“Udah two or three days ago Yuki said goodbye to Mama. She wants to work outside,” Mama Agni as if she was mumbling.

Shaken, Keven passed away going to his room. The disappointment grew when she found out that her mother had already known about Yuki's departure.

It's not his business anymore. He has no right to prevent or obstruct Yuki's decision. But at least Keven wants to be one of the people Yuki considers important.

Pyaar ...

"Aaaaarr!!!"

The sound of broken glass accompanied by a cry of Keven echoed to the ground floor. Shocking Mama Agni who directly climbed the stairs in panic.

"Keven!!?" shouted Mama Agni. His pupils spontaneously enlarged when he saw blood spurting from between Keven's fingers.

Elsewhere at the same time, Papa Leigh spouted coffee shavings in surprise. The cool old man hanging out in the coffee shop with the compound's fathers was almost hanging when he was shown amateur videos.

"This is when?" papa Leigh asked with trembling hands. Paused video played, highlighting a very recognizable identity card.

"Fast your mouth, Lek."

"My daughter ... It's my son-in-law's" Papa Leigh said frantically managed to shake the peace of coffee shop visitors who mostly just enjoy Wi-Fi.
