The footsteps of sayup-sayup is heard between the strains of melody that accompanies the noise of the event. A little run through the hallway and some strangers with their hands clasped tightly to the dress given by the lover, a sweet smile could not be separated from the lips that were polished thin lipstick. Even so, his small steps had slowed down when passing a beautiful circular staircase in a luxurious building with gold and silver decorations.
Geck.
Geck.
Geck.
“Yuki ...,” greet Ara with her head sticking out from behind the door.
“Very you,” said Ara who had unwittingly stepped in. The hand that was about to close the mouth was open hanging in front of the chest. Ara seemed to be fascinated by the aura of Yuki's beauty. Ara admitted, this friend really has a different aura of beauty.
“Hi, Ra," Yuki's smile with a sad look. Euphoria happiness that is clearly reflected in the lines of the guests' faces does not radiate on Yuki.
His eyes looked tired and ready to shed tears of sadness. Instantly the pain in the chest that was as strong as Yuki's strength stored at the bottom of the recesses of his heart broke down violently. He could not hold back the tears that suddenly fell on his cheeks.
“Loh Mbak kok cry??” asked one of the fairy frantically and almost brushed off Yuki's hand that was about to wipe her face.
“Include dust," Yuki replied with a quick blink a few times.
“Aduh ... There was-there was aja Mbak,” grumbled the fairy made memdayu, obviously he did not feel good to scold Yuki. Moreover, unhappiness from earlier already seemed to wrestle the face of the bride.
The jokes of the two people who were busy sweeping brushes, painting beautiful little faces Yuki alternately thrown to melt the atmosphere, but still unable to tickle Yuki. Indeed Yuki had pulled the corner of his lips, but in 2 seconds later everything was mental without leaving a trace. His mind drifted away composing steps, knitting stories and ripping slabs of slump in barefaced wishful thinking.
“Ra, here deh,” said Yuki again while waving at Ara without turning his head. He was still staring at his reflection from a mirror. Beautiful and charming as a porcelain doll, but looks sad in Yuki's eyes.
While Ara who had been fixated began to approach, shifting the empty seat to the left side of Yuki. Not too close, but also not far, just enough to chat in a clean intonation. Although still at risk of being caught hearing others.
“Are you serious about this decision?” ask Ara sissily.
The happiness that had originally adorned Ara's face vanished, changing into grief and worry. The usual cheerfulness emanating from Yuki's chatty figure disappeared, as if it had never existed before.
“Serious,” replied Yuki briefly accompanied by a thin smile.
Yuki was unable to say everything that he felt like yelling. His heart was completely disappointed at the decision that could kill him slowly. Not actual death, but living in nothingness is no better than death.
“After this event is over, please accompany me first. Don't go straight home" pinta Yuki while moving her cold and moist hands tightly grasping Ara's fingers. Honestly, it made Ara's feelings even more shredded. Ara felt like a failure as a friend. He seems useless to Yuki who always gives strength to him.
“You all right?”
“Iya.”
“I'll be happy, right?”
No one knows happiness or only hurt. All need to be lived to be a lesson, although later there will be regretted. Just keep in mind, do not give up because the obstacles feel heavy. Not to compare with the difficulties of others, but to reflect on yourself who has previously fought and become a winner.
“The bride is ready?” A foreign voice broke the silence of Yuki and Ara. Disperse the focus of the makeup artist who put the last ornament on the veil on Yuki's head.
“About 15 minutes please take her bride out huh, Ma'am?" he said again while looking at the clock that was coiled on the left wrist. He gave an awkward smile before passing away leaving the room that Yuki occupied.
As if time had gone shorter, Yuki had already stepped foot. Treading heavily on a shiny floor that feels prickly. He smiled stiffly with trembling pupils. It was never expected that today he would change status, but his life remained alone.
While at the end of the road that Yuki was heading towards, a charming man with a smile no less awkward was waiting. Raising hands to the bride who will soon change status as his wife.
You are beautiful ... But unfortunately you're not the woman I want. The sentence that was spoken consciously in the bottom of the heart was tightly wrapped in a happy face full of pretense.
In the blink of an eye a tinge of sincere happiness appeared vividly painted on the faces of the two bride's parents. Laughter and jokes of guests who continue to arrive blend with the melody of music that never ceases to flow. Congratulation and prayer continue to pour out, flowing with a sense of diversity, but still wrapped neatly in a mask of happiness.
Not to be left with the glitter of warm nuanced light that adorns the roofs of magnificent buildings as if to fill the fanfare of the event. Unfortunately the cold aura actually emanates from the body of a pair of human children who have just officially become a married couple.
“Smile! Don't be as if you're the most tormented by this marriage!!” The whisper of the friendly smiling lips pierced the heart. Causing pain to weaken the pulse.
Want to feel silenced sweet lips that just threw a painful sentence with a clenched fists. Reward a raw bogeman until the lips don't wart.
“In fact marrying you I love doesn't make me happy. Why do I force a smile?" yuki said flatly with sharp eyes.
"Lying on everything just makes me tired, better the world realize that I am tormented here with you.” A glint of rage mixed with grief accompanied the string of sharp sentences thrown from Yuki's lips. Replying guts with sentences no less fierce that actually hurt himself.
Believe me, Yuki wants to cry. Marrying the figure he loved, but felt like being stabbed at the end of a cliff. Yuki had given up on the grueling struggle that had been filled only by her presence. He lost, but when he wanted to stay away he was mired in the pool of unwanted marriage.
Likes or sorrows? I don't know, may the world still be kind to her, Yuki thought.
