"Will he succeed?" raven whispered to Alden who was sitting next to him. Her hazel-blue eyes, glanced at Floretta who was sitting alone on the rightmost seat.
"Come, hopefully," Alden replied as he shrugged his shoulders. His handsome face, looked much more tense than Raven.
Last night after a conversation with Floretta, Alden gathered several parties and held a limited meeting. They also agreed to take the queen candidate's exam today. Several middle-class nobles, such as the Beige, Cinnamon, Bronze, to Mint and Emerald families, surprisingly gave support to Floretta Blue.
Floretta walked to the center of the hall with firm but still graceful steps. Her chin raised, showing her readiness to take the exam of the future queen.
All of the cameras in the room shot towards him. Different from usual, the queen's exam this time will be broadcast live across the country, so that there will be no cheating.
Floretta smiled faintly at the camera, like a professional model. His white skin looks as smooth as silk. The wings are wide outside, looks shiny like sand grains on a beach that is doused in sunlight. Her usual hair looked black, now silver in color and rolled up without any tiara or embellishments.
Floretta's new figure, made everyone present in the room shocked. No one expected that there would be a great magician in their midst.
The nobles present whispered to each other. How could an ordinary human be a great magician? What rumor has it that she's the only Blue family is true?
"Ck, we're late. We should have directly attacked the palace when Alden was injured yesterday" grumbled Daisy who was sitting in the row of second-rate noble seats.
"It's not too late. We can distract them while the exam is going on. So this test will fail and the man loses the chance to be queen in this land" whispered Russel with a mysterious smile, greeted with a nod of Erlina's head.
The queen's exam begins. One by one the questions thrown by the testing team, Floretta could answer very well. Some practical exams can be done without mistakes.
Erlina started to look riled up. His eyes are brownish, moving to the right and to the left pay attention to the surrounding situation. Occasionally the blonde woman threw her eyes out the window. He looked like he was waiting for something.
"?" Erlina muttered softly, barely audible to anyone.
There's no answer. Only the sound of the examination hall and the boisterous royals filled the palace hall. Erlina then raised her head up, shaking her one hand.
Water grains suddenly descended and poured from space quite densely. A few moments later, lightning and lightning struck strongly, accompanied by strong gusts of wind.
All panic. An unexpected storm, came striking the capital. Some of the royal staff looked panicked. They also reported that at some point there was a flood. It just rained about five minutes ago.
"Flooding? Really strange? For a dozen years the city never again experienced flooding" Raven thought suspiciously.
The rain that fell because of the magic did not stop, soaking the entire territory of the capital. The queen's exam was delayed. Alden and some of his staff took care of the flood first.
Erlina smiled faintly. The plan almost worked. The woman circulated her gaze, waiting for everyone to let her guard down.
Blarr!
The woman gasped and shrieked in shock, as a flash of light suddenly grabbed her. The sound of his voice was so loud, his body was waiting for him to fall to the floor. No one helped him to stand up.
"Y-His Majesty the King?" lirih Erlina who was trembling saw the figure of the vampire king was angry.
The man with a sinister form and long fangs was floating in the air. His pair of wings were dark black, sparkling five meters long on each side of his back. Her reddened eyes stared at Erlina sharply.
Alden looks angry. No ... He looks angry to be precise.
Rose Fuchsia frowned while winking a few times. "His Majesty the King has wings?" muttered.
While Erlina was unable to control her body, which suddenly turned pale and trembled in fear. How did Alden know he was the cause of it all? Alden can't sense high-level magic energy?
"Yes, only the highest-level mages have one," replied a heavy voice behind them.
"Edmund? What does this mean?" ask Rose.
"I heard one of the Amethyst families put a moonstone in the king's room and made the man hurt. However, it had actually awakened his hidden strength. You have dug your own graves" replied Edmund.
"You betrayed us?" timpal Daisy anyway.
"Aren't you the first to betray me? Isn't that right, Erlina?" edmund said as he hardened his jaws, holding back the anger.
Erlina just pecked, while swallowing her saliva. His breathing grew increasingly congested, as the black-winged figure flew over to him. The other vampires who were there ran away.
"Хөөе, хараал идсэн чөтгөрүүд. Чамайг там руу явуулахыг бурхадаас гуйхаас өмнө энэ бүх эмх замбараагүй байдлыг зогсоо."
The masculine voice that echoed that magic spell, as well as making Erlina's brown eyes widen in shock.
"Damn!" hissing slowly. "She has found her magic key" he continued inwardly.
Then a few seconds later, Alden stretched out his hand and let out a very pleasant light.
Erlina was getting suffocated in shock, as the white light hit her body. Both of his eyes were tightly closed, as the gleam of light made his head throb and ache.
The rain that had fallen was so heavy, it immediately stopped. When the water point has completely disappeared, the golden-yellow sunlight again shines on the surface of the earth.
But, there is a new problem that arises. "Where is Her Royal Highness Princess Floretta? If Her Majesty does not complete this test, then she will fail to become queen" said one of the palace's advisory councils.
