The Vampire King's Storage Waiter

The Vampire King's Storage Waiter
Chapter 29. Lost Again

“Duh, I'm so excited, anyway? He allowed me to return to the human world. But I chose instead to stay here, just because I could not bear to see his sad face.”

Floretta repeatedly exhaled a long breath, while removing the makeup on her face with a cotton swab. Floretta still hasn't gotten used to polishing her face all day. In the past, he hardly even used powder at all, because the money was always held by the aunt.

After cleaning her makeup, Floretta changed her evening dress to a pajama and prepared to sleep.

“But is it true that he sacrificed many things for my sake? Lest he used to be bullied, because he could not drink human blood.”

Apparently Floretta still can't get Alden Black out of his mind. The woman still vividly remembers the doctor's conversation with her husband. Not to mention the chatter of the servants, who were heard mocking the vampire king.

“Ah, don't know, deh. Anyway I want to sleep,” Floretta said as she pulled a thick blanket over her body. He then closed his eyes.

“Tonight bobbed together, yuk.”

“Gyaaa! Why do I imagine her perverted face, anyway?” The woman suddenly shouted.

Floretta, who had just closed her eyes, suddenly recalled the words of the vampire king this afternoon, who made a request for her to be granted. Floretta refused it outright. They had slept together in one room, even though the king was sleeping on the couch.

“If I thought I could continue so I couldn't sleep. I miss Gufo the owl. He has always been my vent when there is such a problem.” Poor Floretta, feeling very lonely in the middle of this magnificent palace.

...🦇🦇🦇...

Next morning.

“Sorry, Your Majesty where are you going?” Lily runs after Alden Black, who steps into his wife's room. His face looks so panicked.

“I want to wake Floretta up and take him to breakfast,” Alden replied as he swung his legs even faster. His stomach was ringing loudly, making him impatient for breakfast.

“But Her Majesty Floretta is not in her room,” Lily reports later.

The tep! Alden stopped his steps and turned to face the servant. “What did you say? He ran away again? Alden's soft tone of voice, suddenly turned into a high shrill.

“It is not so, Your Majesty. But..”

A few moments later.

“Floretta, why are you in the kitchen?” Alden who suddenly visited the palace kitchen, making the atmosphere of the room excited.

“Good morning, Your Grace. I made you breakfast. Hope you like.”

Unusually, Floretta greeted her husband with a smile. The woman who was wearing a knee-length skirt and blouse shirt was looking sumringah. He placed a plate of turkey and salmon onto the trolley, to take it to the dinner table.

“Y-His Highness, everyone is looking towards us,” whispered Floretta with a breath of tightness. Alden hugged her too tightly.

“Ah, sorry.” Alden let go of his embrace with a face flushed in embarrassment. The worry that controlled his mind, made him forget their current situation and place.

“Eat, yuk. You must be hungry, right?” froletta whispered to her husband.

...🦇🦇🦇...

“Where? Yummy no?” Floretta looked enthusiastic, as Alden tasted pieces of turkey cooked with special seasonings.

“Enak, kok,” Alden replied with a flat expression.

He then cut up the salmon, then fed it into his mouth. The man's expression was still the same. Flat and stay focused on chewing his breakfast.

“Truly delicious? But your face is so grim?” said Floretta a little cranky. He woke up early to cook breakfast. But the response the king gave was just like that?

“Yes, really good. The meat is soft and the flavor is felt,” Alden replied again.

Floretta's face was still grim with her husband's flat response. According to him, the king made such comments not from his heart. But just to please Floretta.

Alden who understood the situation immediately put his knife and fork on the side of the plate. He then looked at his wife.

“Actually I bring bad news for us,” Alden said very softly.

“Bad news?” repeat Floretta while frowning.

“Yes, the date of our meeting with the members of the palace council has been set,” Alden replied.

“Then where is the problem? Didn't you wait for this moment?” reply Floretta doesn't understand.

“This is worse than we thought. Because they set the date of the meeting right at the time I made a visit abroad,” Alden said. “I asked them to back it up, but it was rejected.”

“So?”

“So you have to meet them alone. This is very dangerous,” Alden said.
