Chapter 93. Cursed Objects

Raven paused her sentence to take a breath. His right hand moved to press a remote button. The white wall next to them moved, revealing an even larger room.

Floretta did not react to seeing that heartbreaking sight. He hesitated to believe the vampires.

"A single nail flick can kill a village, let alone a piece of moon rock the size of a tennis ball that you throw. If he wasn't Black's descendant, his body would have been blown to pieces" Raven said in a poignant tone.

Floretta rolled her eyeballs towards the window. He tried to avoid the eyes of the sister-in-law. "I-I was just trying to save myself, because he was trying to hurt me" he said in self-defense.

"You misunderstood, Flo. He could have killed you with just a flick, before you threw the toy spear at him. But looking at the damage marks inside the room, Alden only gave off a little bit of his strength" Raven said.

"Sorry to interrupt, Your Majesty. Doesn't this look weird? Why was it suddenly in the spear room with the moon stone?" chirps Leon who is daily in charge of guarding the room of the king and the princess.

"I've investigated that too. And it turns out, a few hours ago there was secretly a change of servants. I think those servants are the Amethyst family's men. Only they can control the moon rocks, before they become weapons" replied Raven.

"So how should we, Your Majesty?" ask Leon again.

"What mess have I done in this kingdom? Is it true that Alden didn't kill both of my parents, and I nearly killed him?" thought Floretta.
