The Vampire King's Storage Waiter

The Vampire King's Storage Waiter
Chapter 62. Attention of the King

"Floretta!"

Alden ran in the corridor of the palace with an anxious face. The palace occupants who passed by him, looked on in wonder.

"Your Majesty! Wait up!" Leon ran after the king behind him. "I know Your Majesty is worried about Princess Floretta's plight. But ..."

"What is this storm?"

A woman came out peeking out of the bedroom door, to see what was happening.

"Floretta! Are you conscious?" Alden hugged his wife tightly. His heart was truly relieved, as his beloved woman was fine. "Thank God you're okay. I came straight here even though the weather was pretty bad" he added.

"Uh, tight. If the gini I could have died because of you, Al," said Floretta who was in the arms of her husband. His neck, which still had bite marks, again felt pain.

"Ah, sorry." Alden immediately stretched his embrace with a flushed face like a ripe tomato.

"Haaah, what did I say. Her Royal Highness Princess Floretta is fine. He woke up before His Majesty came" Leon said, laughing, looking at the vampire king's behavior.

"Leon! Want me to send you to the battlefield?" threaten Alden who is embarrassed. He was actually not really angry, but just embarrassed considering his childish attitude earlier.

"Ehem! No, Your Majesty. I'm sorry," Leon replied with an amused smile.

"Thank God you're all right. I thought I was gonna lose you." Alden's tone had changed back to normal.

"Where might I die. I was nineteen. I have no grandchildren, and have not had time to accompany people I care about," said Floretta Lirih.

Alden widened his eyes. The tip of his lips and eyebrows slightly dropped. His heart was burning to hear the words of his wife. That simple sentence, was able to show Floretta's true feelings.

"I'll meet him. Let him not disturb and hurt you anymore" Alden said, with a smile on his face.

"Uh, i-iya, anyway. But still. This is outrageous" Alden said in an annoyed tone.

Floretta asked the bodyguards and servants to leave the two of them, with a gesture of hand.

"Prince Ravin took me to the secret library. Her Majesty Queen Selene's favorite place" Floretta said after the servants left.

"Confidential library? Storage of old books collection?" ask Alden not to believe it. Floretta nodded strongly.

"Through a narrow passageway in an old building?" Alden's still not sure.

Floretta nodded confidently. "Through the old hallway and down some stairs. Is that a bad thing? Or okay?" ask Floretta.

Alden did not answer the wife's question. He just smiled, then pulled the blanket over Floretta's body.

"Sleep, I'll accompany you" Alden said softly.

Floretta snorted in annoyance, looking at Alden who was not open to her.

"Where can I possibly fall asleep if you look at me like that?" floretta protested, letting out her disappointment.

"Huh, did you? I'm going to turn around, check my email," Alden relented.

Floretta glanced at Alden with a frown. "He worried about me until I was like this. Though he must have been busy today, too" murmured Floretta sadly. "He's like this, should I still doubt him?"

"Am I really just a troublemaker here?" floretta said in her heart.
