The Vampire King's Storage Waiter

The Vampire King's Storage Waiter
Chapter 81. Be late

The deg!

"Why is my feeling suddenly not good?"

Alden, who was signing a number of award files for outstanding students, suddenly stopped his pen movements. His chest felt tight and heavy. His ears rang, like hearing ultrasonic vibrations from inside the castle.

His greenish-blue eyeballs suddenly glanced towards the castle behind him. But in vain. The distance between where he was currently, and the entrance to the castle was about thirty meters away. The castle grounds are filled with students with various activities.

Crangs!

"Well! The watch glass broke! Something must have happened to Floretta."

Suddenly, Alden's watch glass broke. It was a signal that the princess was in great danger. Alden's heart was getting anxious to see it.

"I knew the ministers and the court's advisory council would be furious if I left the job again. But making sure my wife is safe is my first responsibility."

Alden flicked his finger slowly, and disappeared abruptly from the place. He teleported to where Floretta's scent was.

"Y-his majesty?" exclaimed the guards who suddenly lost the king before their eyes.

...🦇🦇🦇...

Brak! Brak!

"Your Majesty! You okay?"

Several bodyguards gathered at Floretta's door, trying to break the locked door from the inside. Reinforcements continued to grow, pushing the wooden door of the oak tree open.

Almond Sienna looked at the royal guards and soldiers with worry. Just moments after Almond parted with Floretta, they heard a noise from inside the princess' room followed by an unpleasant scent that spread throughout the hall.

When Almond turned to look at the princess, he found Lily lying covered in blood on the floor. Two arrows pierced his back. While the princess's room was tightly closed and gave off an unpleasant aroma.

"Ah, if only I could do magic, I would be able to open this door easily. Again I can only watch the chaos before me."

Almond felt sad, because he could not open the door of the room that seemed to be locked by the magic spell. Soldiers and bodyguards had brought electric saw machines to force open the doors, but the results failed.

"Where are the palace officials? Why didn't anyone come, when I sent out a distress signal? Was this done intentionally?" thought Almond was fretting.

"Surge all! Let me open it!"

The unpleasant aroma that burst into all directions came from the carcass of a mouse that was placed in the middle of the room. Seems like it was deliberately put there, to mess with the vampires' olfactory.

"Almond, is there any other way out of here?" ask Alden to make sure.

"Nothing, Your Grace. This room only has one in and out access to facilitate surveillance," Almond replied nervously.

"Ah, dammit! I'm late! I think there's a bunch of vampires who've been planning it carefully. I even had to move around a few times, because they put the Floretta scent in different rooms" Alden murmured inwardly.

"Leon! Brayne! Lead the army to find the princess's whereabouts. Divide into a few teams that have magic power!" Alden's orders to his bodyguard.

"Okay, Your Majesty."

"Orange, send a message to Prince Raven to take my place while I'm here. So that no one realizes that the princess has disappeared."

Alden gave direct orders to the royal secretary who accompanied him.

"Ready, Your Majesty."

"Then all of you soldiers and royal guards, form special forces to build this castle in layers. I'm going to visit the castle clinic to make sure Lily's condition, '" Alden said.

"Then me, Your Majesty?" asked Almond doubtfully and fearfully.

"You go back to the middle of the show. Tell the royal advisory board that something has happened to the princess. I will provide additional bodyguards for you and your husband" Alden replied.

"Okay, Your Majesty," Almond replied as he lowered his head.

In one blink of an eye, Alden moved to the castle clinic. Alden's forehead linked, looking at Lily and the two bodyguards lying on the clinic bed. Their bodies were full of bandages, with faces deathly pale from losing a lot of blood.

"What's going on? Why is everyone hurt like this?" alden was sad. "Where is Floretta now? He's alive, right? I can't feel his body anymore."

Alden was very worried. Every human being has a different aura. Unlike the vampires who only had a gray and black aura. When Floretta was kidnapped by the vampires back then, she could still feel Floretta's aura despite being quite weak.

"Don't go first, Flo. Wait me. I will definitely pick you up alive," Alden determined without despair.
