Flo lowered her head deeply. "Alden, I accepted your proposal. I'm willing to be your wife" Flo said suddenly.
"What did you say?" Albert was unsure of what he had just heard.
"I'm willing to be your wife. So your companion is forever" whispered Flo while enduring the shame. This was the first time he had said those words.
"really? Mercifully. Thank you, Floretta. I'm so happy." Without warning, Alden immediately hugged the girl before him.
"Hey, did you forget about our previous agreement? No touch-touching, before we officially get married" Floretta said firmly.
"Sorry, reflex. I'm so happy" Alden said as he moved away from Flo.
The girl was astonished, why would Alden be this happy just because he married an ordinary girl like her?
"Then, after breakfast we discussed the wedding plan, yes," Alden said again.
"Loh, keep your job?" ask Flo.
"I'm the boss, I can come by any time. Not going to the office is okay either. After all, money is still flowing," Alden said.
"A little annoyed to hear it. But it's true, too" Flo said with a small laugh. "Whoa! Hopefully this is the right decision" Flo said in his heart.
After breakfast, Alden fulfilled his promise to discuss their wedding preparations.
"Flo, introduce. This is Madam Emerald, she's going to take care of your body, and prepare a wedding dress for you" Alden said, introducing a middle-aged woman to Floretta.
"You can request anything to him, according to your wishes. Don't think about the cost" the man continued.
"Body care?" Flo was stunned to hear it. During his nineteen years in the world, Flo had never done any special treatment for his body.
"Of course, I want my future wife to appear full as an angel on the wedding day" Alden said, winking his eyes.
"O-oh, be-that's it." Flo is suddenly awkward.
...🦇🦇🦇...
"What's? Floretta got married to that young businessman?" Violetta screamed in shock, when she heard from her mother.
"Yes, he's getting married in early winter" Olive said, grabbing a jacket hanging from a closet.
"No! Can't be like this. Floretta was born just a poor servant. He does not deserve to get married. I don't want her to have a husband richer than me" Violetta felt indignant.
Violetta paced back and forth in the living room, biting her nails. Heart's riled. He didn't like to see his sister live happily like this.
"If Flo gets married to Alden, does that mean she's my husband's boss's wife? Ah, fuck! Why is it like this? What's Flo been hiding all this time?" Violetta's mind was getting raging.
"I should have let her marry David. So I'm definitely going to be proposed by Alden Black."
Since Alden's arrival on his wedding day, Violetta also felt sorry for seizing her sister's boyfriend.
"Violetta! What else are you thinking? Let's get ready quickly, we have to go to Madam Lavender's house to measure our dresses before dark. Alden had already given the materials and the cost to sew our party dress," Olive said with a smile on her face.
"Ck! I was lazy to come out. My husband's coming home soon" Violetta refused. He was not excited to attend the wedding of his sister.
"Hey, you are! Come quickly accompany Mother. Ah, it's nice to have a rich daughter-in-law" Olive said with a small hum.
"Mom, your first daughter-in-law is also rich," exclaimed Violet offended.
"Well, I'll take all the wedding gifts again! Mom will soon have a conglomerate daughter-in-law," threatened Violetta while grunting angrily.
"Hey, you fucking boy! You could have done that to your mother. You bastard son of a bitch! Look at your sister, she can return the favor well, by immediately marrying a rich man."
Jayden suddenly appeared from the door, and patted his eldest daughter's back many times.
"Duh, Dad! I'm pregnant with your future grandchild. What if I miscarry?" violetta exclaimed while avoiding her father.
"You pregnant? Your marriage was just a week ago. So you were pregnant, even before you married David?" Jayden patted his eldest daughter on the back.
...🦇🦇🦇...
Two weeks later. A super luxurious wedding party was held in the city's grandest building. The modern building is transformed like a fairy tale palace.
Along the hallway to the party room decorated with fresh flowers of various colors are very fragrant. Beautiful lights were installed, like fireflies that were playing in the park. The roof is made of glass, making a panorama of the sky and trees around the building can be seen clearly.
The music played slowly, spoiling the ears of the guests who began to arrive. Dozens of waiters swiftly serve all guests with a variety of luxurious dishes. The heating began to be turned on with the right temperature, so that guests do not get cold at the beginning of this winter.
The bride-to-be sat in a room, waiting for the wedding ceremony to arrive. His two hands clenched together, to eliminate the coldness that ruled his body. It is not cold because of the weather outside, but because of the nervousness that afflicts it.
"Ah, I don't understand. Why invite that many guests, if I don't have anyone to invite?" inner Flo while staring at the crowd out there.
"I don't think I'm going to be the wife of a stranger any minute" the woman in the beautiful dress continued.
The bride-to-be felt very lonely, in a crowd like this. He felt hollow, without knowing what he was thinking at the moment. From behind a glass wall that was only one-way through, Floretta saw both her parents coming, along with her brother and sister-in-law.
Anger appeared again in his chest. The reason for marrying Alden is becoming more and more apparent. He wants to show his older brother and ex-girlfriend that he can get a much better man. In addition, Flo also wants to break away from the restraints of his parents.
"Alden, why aren't we allowed to meet with Floretta? Though we were his parents" Olive protested to his son-in-law.
"True, I will also take my daughter to you" Jayden added.
"This is Floretta's request, Dad. But don't worry, Mom and Dad will still be able to meet Flo and drive her to me" Alden said.
"Haaah, I'm so sad. Though this was the last time I saw my daughter before letting go of her bachelor," Olive said with a sad face. "Ah, but may I know, what gift will you give us?" ask Olive curiously.
Alden smiled at the question. "Ah, it seems like it's time, Mom. I have to get ready," Alden said avoiding the two prospective in-laws.
The wedding ceremony finally began. The bride-to-be walked into the room with her father. All eyes were glued to see it.
Flo's skin looked as white as snow, in stark contrast to her diamond-studded blue dress and her gracefully styled black hair. Her beautiful eyes are like gemstones. Her tiny lips look blushing. She was the prettiest bride the guests had seen.
"I didn't expect that servant girl to be this beautiful. Why did I let go yesterday, huh?" David looked at his ex-lover without blinking. It made Violetta hiss slowly, out of jealousy.
Alden greeted his future wife with a smile. Both of his hands clasped the girl's tiny fingers.
"I, Alden Black accept Floretta Blue as my wife forever" Alden said.
"What's? Floretta Blue?" The guests looked at each other. "Isn't her name Floretta Green? How could Alden have misnamed his wife? Because there's only one Blue family in town, and that was a dozen years ago."
Meanwhile, Floretta reflexes let go of Alden's hand. "Why does he know my real name? Who the hell is he?" thought Flo was fretting.
