The Vampire King's Storage Waiter

The Vampire King's Storage Waiter
Chapter 42. Sulking

"Basic fucking man! How dare a weak creature like him mock us!" Russell kicked the table, to vent his emotions.

After Floretta and Alden walked out of the meeting room, the members of the council could only curse, staring at the marriage annulment letter that had become a small piece of paper. The center that Daisy had designed and painstakingly made, was now just a bunch of useless trash.

"Really! He demeans us by remaining a queen, but he himself is not aware that their race level is far below us" Daisy continued, grunting.

"Kok can Alden sided with that rotten woman? Do they have mutual agreements that we don't know about?" said the noble lady from the Krimson family again.

Edmund the chairman of the palace council massaged his aching ear, due to the thunderous noise of the nobles.

"Hey, Edmund. We should have killed him in the first place. If it's like this, it'll be harder to get it out of here" Russell said with glowing red eyes.

"Don't be rash! If we do violence to eliminate it, we may have a bigger problem" replied Edmund with a flat tone and a fairly relaxed expression.

"Novac, why were you so quiet, anyway? You should have been angrier than all of us, because your sister was betrayed by the Blacks" Russell told Novac, who had sat quietly since the beginning of the meeting.

"You don't think I'm angry?" suhut Novac Amethyst, while changing his sitting position. His head that had been bowed since he stared at the HP screen, now he lifted up and showed a haughty impression.

"I'm a lot more angry than you all. But I also know what my sister is like. He will definitely not stay silent, when his own is seized by others," continued the first son of the Amethyst family.

"You too, Edmund! Why is the chairman not so firm, anyway! You should have kept them away earlier, in order to make a quick decision" Daisy protested.

Edmund only smiled faintly, hearing himself being protested like that. "You don't feel like anything weird?" edmund murmured while pouring the drink into a glass. His throat was dry, as he shouted in front of Floretta earlier.

"Any? Whatchu mean? Did Alden and that rotten man indeed have a mutually beneficial agreement like a contract marriage?" russell was curious.

"Heeei, open it up I mean." Edmund waved his hand in front of his face. "Raven should have killed him at any moment. Even when Alden went abroad yesterday. But why didn't he do it?" keep the man.

"Eh, right too. Let alone man, the servant who adores him has been destroyed without a trace" Daisy replied. Her eyelids that have lashes are wide open. "He doesn't seem to care about the existence of humans here. What's the matter exactly?" muttered the woman again.

Floretta walks awkwardly by the husband's side. He was like a child who had just been caught breaking the wrong rules by his parents. Along the passageway leading to the Ecarlatte Castle, they just kept quiet. Only the sound of footsteps could be heard echoing all the way to the end of the hall.

"Your made kebab is delicious. I like it" Alden suddenly said.

"Oh? Did you eat it? I thought it had moved into the garbage can" Floretta replied as she quickened her footsteps.

"Floretta, were you mad at me about last night?" Alden moved his leg quickly, then grabbed the woman's arm to prevent her from leaving.

"No, tuh!" reply Floretta quickly.

"Hm, Your Grace. Looks like I should say goodbye first. There are other things that I have to do," said Leon who felt bad, seeing the husband and wife quarrel.

"Don't go! Stay here!" order Floretta and Alden in a compact.

"Huufff! For what I believe, they are compact," Leon's inner voice with a long sigh. The bodyguard didn't leave here. He only kept a distance far enough, behind the couple.

"Floretta, sorry I didn't eat with you last night. I don't know, either, that you prepared a kebab for me" Alden said in a soft tone.

"No need to apologize. I know the king is very busy!" Even though his sentence seemed to understand Alden, still his tone and look still look jutek on Alden.

"Last night we talked about the position of education minister. Erlina has finished her education abroad. He also has many achievements. The royal adviser said he's fit to be the next education minister."

Alden kept trying to explain his situation to Floretta. But it was all a wasted effort. Floretta was still not happy to hear that.

"Yes, I know she's a very classy woman. Let alone being a minister, even being a queen she is a perfect fit" Floretta replied again.
