The Vampire King's Storage Waiter

The Vampire King's Storage Waiter
Chapter 26. For the sake of my husband

"Your Majesty, I'm not asking because I want to go home" Floretta said in a spoiled tone. "I just ordered some groceries from the human world" he added.

"Ordering food from the human world? You still want to stay here?" alden said he still did not believe it.

"Yes, I made a decision. I'll stay here with you. Is not accompanying the husband in times of grief is the duty of the wife?" floretta said with a serious face.

"Seriously?" ask Alden again.

"Yes, seriously," Floretta replied with eyes staring at Alden without blinking. His face really showed a serious expression.

"But what about the other vampires? You're not afraid?" said Alden reassured himself and also the wife.

"I have to be brave, even if I am still afraid sometimes. But I'm the wife of the vampire king, right? So I have to be brave to face my people" Floretta said firmly.

A smile on Alden's face. "I'm so glad you decided to stay here. All your wishes say, I will fulfill them, I will fulfill them" Alden said.

"Oh yeah? Thank ye. I just want to channel TV with Asian dramas, as well as delicious food from the human world" Floretta said, writing some food lists on a small paper.

"just that? I think you want fancy clothes, jewelry, expensive makeup or something else" Alden said.

"Yes, that's what I like too. But you are the one who chose me" Floretta replied. "So far as the stuff you love, I've always liked it" he added.

"But why did you change your mind to stay here?"

"I just want to be close to you. Accompany you to eat every day. I told you that, right? Is not accompanying the husband in times of grief is the duty of the wife?" Floretta repeated the answer.

Alden speechless. The man who was still wearing a full suit with a tie suddenly felt hot. Is it because of the clothes she wears? Or because his blood flow increased twice as fast?

"Are you quiet? Don't you like me to stay here? Will your fiancee get angry?" ask Floretta with pursed lips forward.

"I'm obviously very happy. But ..." Alden then turned around and moved away from Floretta.

"But what?" ask Floretta in surprise.

"You should keep this necklace on. Inside is a chip, which can detect if you're being bullied" Adlen said, putting on a fancy necklace, with a sapphire-blue pendant around Floretta's neck.

"Well, I'm a little disappointed. I think there's magic in it." Floretta said.

"Well, what century do we live in? It's not his time to use that magic" Alden said with a bland laugh.

"Then anyway? But I just feel like there's some stuff that has magic, huh? For example a scarf she gave me before marriage first," inner Floretta was curious.

"Ah, you don't like the necklace, do you? Later I can replace it with another necklace that you like," Alden said hurriedly, when he saw Floretta's expression that did not match his expectations.

"I like it, really. Her necklace is so pretty. But this necklace doesn't have any hidden cameras, does it?" ask Floretta.

"There's no dong, baby. You still have privacy" Alden replied. "I purposely gave this to protect my queen, from the vicious vampires out there" she said.

Floretta's ears heat up, as Alden calls out 'my queen'. "Including His Majesty Raven?" floretta asked as she calmed her racing heart.

"Yes, including my brother," Alden replied. "But you better not fight it or avoid it, if you meet again later. He's actually good, really. Only people always think badly of him" the man continued.

"Thank you, my dear. I promise you, I won't let anyone bother you as long as I'm alive" Alden said, holding Floretta's hands together.

"Duh, dong. My heart can explode if you act so sweetly as it continues" Floretta said in her heart.

"Oh, yes. I have one request for you. You must obey." Alden's face looked so solemn, as he said that line.

"What's that?" ask Floretta with a rustling chest. His fear that had just begun to erode, now reappeared.

"Never reveal your true identity to anyone. They only know your real name Floretta Blue. Nothing more than that" Alden said in a very low tone, but it sounded terrible.

"W-why?" ask Floretta wonder.

"Because Blue's surname is very sensitive in this palace. You could be in danger, if they knew who your father and mother really were" Alden said.

"But when should I cover my identity? I thought reusing my real name would make me reveal my real family."

Floretta protested, as she was not allowed to reveal her long-lost biological family.

"Until all conditions are conducive. I also want your father and mother to be known in this world of vampires, for having had a child as beautiful as this," Alden told Floretta.

...🦇🦇🦇...

Meanwhile in a different room, Raven was flipping through some old photos, frowning. "So you said, what's his name?" said the vampire prince.

"The real name is Floretta Blue, Your Honor. She has been in school since Junior High. Then work as ..."

"Enough! Floretta Blue's? Hasn't the Blue clan been extinct since a dozen years ago?" reply Raven while looking at Floretta's childhood photos many times.

Unexpectedly, it turned out that little Floretta in the photo looked really cute.

"Yes, Your Majesty. In the civil records of the hometown of Her Royal Highness the Princess, she does have the real name Floretta Blue," replied a spy, who was paid handsomely by Raven.

"It's really weird. The boy surnamed Blue, being cared for by the Green family?" muttered Raven confused. "Who are the real parents of the servant boy?" Raven continues to dig out infornations about her sister-in-law.

"There's no data on her birth parents, Your Honor. I've been looking for the information in some places, but nil," replied the spy again.

"It's even stranger. Why is the boy's data there, but his parents' data is hidden?" Raven exhaled violently.

"All I know is that he was raised by a modest family named Mr. Jayden Green and Mr. Olive Green" the spy said in a whisper.

"Who? Mr Jayden and Mrs Olive?"

Raven looked extremely agitated, after hearing the report. He then flipped through the photo again.

"It turns out to be true, he lives with Mr. Jayden," Inner Raven. "Is this a coincidence? Or that human boy is indeed the son of the Blue family I know?" thought Raven with fret.

"But I don't think so, deh. Because the scent of the blood of this boy and the Blue family used to be much different" Raven told herself.
