"Yeah! Holy hooch! How come he's here?"
Floretta could not hide her surprise, as she looked at the pair of black shoes and trousers before her. The head of the poor woman looked up, to see the face of the man standing before her.
"I-i beg. Don't kill me, sir."
Floretta clenched her palms together in her chest, and begged forgiveness for the cruel man before her. He did not expect, that the man could catch up to him in just a few seconds.
"France ..."
"I'll get out of here, if you don't like me. But let me live, "please ask that woman again.
Floretta's whole body was shivering and sweating coldly. The pain from the fall spread all over his body. Plus his feelings are very anxious.
"Flo, relax. Its me. Sorry I came late." The man reached out his hand, to help Floretta stand up.
"Don't kill me, sir." The woman of the human race moved backwards away from the man.
Grep's! Without speaking again, the man grabbed Floretta's body, and carried her. He then brought her back to the castle.
...🦇🦇🦇...
"It's morning, huh?"
Floretta blinked her eyes several times, as a servant opened the window curtains. The snow was white, lying all over the trees in the palace garden. The sun is hidden in the eastern horizon, with its timid light.
"It turns out I was still able to breathe this morning," said Floretta, breathing a little relieved. "Eh? But this isn't my room, is it? I-this is where?" continued again.
"Don't move much yet, the wound on your leg is still quite severe." A man walked to the side of the bed carrying a glass of warm milk.
"A-alden?" Floretta pulled the blanket to the chest.
"Calm down, I won't bother you" Alden said softly. "Here, have a drink. Don't let you go hungry, because you don't eat all day like yesterday."
The man forced his wife to spend the milk on the glass.
"I felt like I wanted to get angry and protest against Alden, but apparently he actually saved me last night. He also forced you to fill the stomach this morning," Floretta's inner heart.
"I understand what you're thinking now. I'm sorry for leaving you here alone. You must have been really scared last night" Alden said.
"Is he His Majesty Raven?" floretta asked half a whisper.
"Yes, he's my only brother" Alden replied.
"But where is this?" ask Floretta.
"This is my room" Alden replied briefly.
"eeeh? So last night k-us?" Floretta suddenly crossed his hands in front of his chest.
"Hey, what do you think?" Alden laughed at the wife's question.
"I mean, did we break the rules of the Councillors? He said we shouldn't be in one room, because this wedding hasn't been approved by them." Floretta repeated her question, to remove the embarrassment.
"I slept in the other room last night. So nothing happened between us. How could I have the heart to kill a woman who was seriously injured" Alden said, laughing freely.
"Heeei, I told you, that's not what I meant!" floretta's getting embarrassed.
"But in retrospect, all these problems I started on my own. I was too rash to accept the proposal of an unknown man, only to win from Brother Violetta," Floretta murmured inwardly.
"So there's no point in me getting mad at Alden and hiding. I had to act like normal, so they wouldn't take me for granted anymore" Floretta thought.
"Lu-lumayan," said Floretta, turning his face away. She could not see Alden's legitimate good looks as her husband.
"What do you want to eat again? Let me cook it for you" Alden said sincerely.
"Eh? A cook? I've never heard of the king going down to the kitchen and cooking for someone" Floretta said.
"There is none. So I want to start. Can't it hurt to cook for my own Queen? Gini-gini I'm a cook, you know," Alden said proudly.
Floretta's heart was pounding at Alden's words. He blushed embarrassed at being considered the Queen by the handsome men of these girls' dreams.
Since her father and mother died, Floretta has never received enough attention and affection. Even when I was dating David.
"Alden, I hope all this affection you've shed is truly sincere. I was so moved to hear it" Floretta said in a very low voice.
The face of the petite woman was bowed deeply. He didn't want Alden to see his cheeks meet red like apples.
"I understand that you still don't believe me. I just hope you don't deny me all the attention" Alden said.
"Ah, but why were you scared last night when you were involved?" asked Alden to shift the subject.
"Yes your own fault, why is it so similar? I was wrong to think that you were His Highness Raven?" sahut Floretta's.
"Huh? How can it not be different, anyway? Obviously your husband is much more handsome than that restless guy," Alden replies, ostensibly cranky.
"S-husband? Ah, right too. Our status is now that close" Floretta thought.
"Then about Raven, I'm sorry. His attitude is like that to everyone, especially to new people like you," said Alden again.
"Why should you apologize? Why didn't he come to apologize?" ask Floretta.
"With his nature like that, I'm not sure he's going to apologize to you" Alden replied. "Thank God your leg wasn't hurt bad. But I hope you don't walk long until you're completely healed" Alden said.
"I'm sorry if my question offends you a little, but he's really your sibling? Isn't the king's position usually left to the eldest?" search Alden's wife.
Alden's face turned slightly dim, hearing the wife's question. "He's my only real brother" Alden said softly. "That's what made him even more arrogant, because both of our parents bequeathed the throne to me" the man continued.
"Why?" ask Floretta again.
Alden shook his head slowly. "I don't know either" he said.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
"Excuse me, Your Honor. We brought a change of clothes for Her Royal Highness Princess Floretta" said several maids from outside.
"Please enter" Alden said, inviting the servants to enter his room. "Then I go first, Flo" Alden told his wife.
Grep's! Floretta reflex pulls the end of Alden's shirt.
"Don't go" whispered Floretta almost inaudibly.
"What's? So you let me in here, and watch you shower and change your clothes? Duh, my queen's getting perverted, huh?" said Alden while holding back a laugh.
"That's not what it means! I just don't want to be left alone. But after thinking about it, it's better that you just go out," said Floretta.
"Yes, yes ... I know that you are quick to miss me. But in an hour we'll see you, okay. So don't miss me, yeah," seduced Alden again.
"Uh, that's not what I mean, Alden, either" Floretta said in a high voice, to the point that the maids who had just entered were shocked.
