"Can't you really drink human blood? Then is it true that the two women who were bothering me that night died from your bite?"
Floretta looked at the husband's face fixedly, waiting for the answer that had been curious.
"Huh?" Alden's eyes opened wide, hearing the question. "W-Cokhe can remember what happened that night?" alden thought confused.
"You must be confused, right? Why can I remember the incident, even if you gave me a memory-busting spell?" said Floretta would not lose.
"I also remember, that night in the apartment found some bottles of fresh blood. Please explain it to me. What does it all mean" Floretta asked her husband to be honest.
Alden did not answer Floretta's question. He glanced at the watches, to make sure they still had time to chat before the meeting started.
"Alright, I'll answer one-on-one," Alden said moments later.
The man clasped his wife's hand and said, "First of all, I can't drink human blood like my mother."
"Is Prince Raven the same?" ask Floretta.
Alden shook his head. "Prince Raven inherited the Black family gene from my father, they still drank human blood several times a year" Alden replied.
"Well! Really? Really se-serem?" Floretta was surprised.
"But we don't drink human blood by biting it. There is some sort of legal blood donation for our nation" Alden explained.
"Thank God then. Keep on other answers?" Floretta again reminded her husband, if there are still questions that she must answer.
"Secondly, I didn't kill that woman. I used it to scare them. But the effect is similar to that of us being attacked by cats" Alden replied.
"Keep, how can they die?" reply Floretta can't believe.
"There's someone who took advantage of the incident. They sucked the girls' blood, to be sold to the black market" Alden said in a low voice.
Floretta recalls the incident when she escaped, and was almost sold by vampires. Alden nodded, confirming the illegal incident.
"Then lastly, the blood you find in the kuljas is rabbit blood and cow blood. It sounds disgusting, but that's how vampires survive today. We must not drink human blood often, because of Human Rights" Alden explained.
"Ah, it's time. I'll go first, yeah."
Alden stood up from his chair, then kissed his wife's forehead suddenly. Floretta, surprised by Alden's sudden attitude, could only freeze in place. It felt like the world had stopped for a second.
...🦇🦇🦇...
"Lily, come with me to the library" Floretta excitedly asked. Her energy seemed to be filled again, after getting a sweet kiss from the husband.
"Eh? You want to go there, Your Majesty? But it's still quite early in the morning. There must be a lot of vampires in there" Lily said.
"It's okay. I can't hide in my room either, can I?" said Floretta half-forcible. "Partially, I have to look for other books on the queen-to-be exam" she explained.
"Alright, but we should be back before lunch" Lily recalled. She knew exactly, Floretta could have forgotten the time, had been friends with books.
"Okay, we'll be back before lunch" Floretta said.
The two then walked down the palace hallway towards the very well-equipped royal library room. As usual, the vampires who were at loggerheads with them whispered to each other. Floretta ignored them all.
Shortly after, they arrived at the library. Floretta immediately ran between the bookshelves, looking for the books she needed.
"Well are you here again?" The sound clashed from behind the bookshelf, making Floretta raise her head.
"Ah, among that many vampires, why do I have to meet her, anyway?" floretta muttered in horror.
