The Vampire King's Storage Waiter

The Vampire King's Storage Waiter
Chapters 2. I Don't Want to

"Not as a servant, but as my wife," Alden replied without the slightest smile on his face.

"Eh, what???" Floretta screamed in the middle of the wedding hall.

"You're kidding me, right? A well-established and handsome man like you wants to marry an ordinary girl like him? " ask Olive Green in disbelief.

"I see, A-you must want to keep Floretta's self-esteem in public like this" the forty-year-old added.

"Of course I'm serious, Miss Olive. I'd like to propose to Floretta Green your youngest daughter, as my wife. She was the most appropriate woman to accompany me" Alden Black said.

Everyone in the room gaped, hearing the impromptu proposal made by the city's most successful businessman. The girls looked at Floretta with envy.

"Uh, this is not fair. Why would Floretta be attracted to a handsome, wealthy man like Alden?" The beautiful bride looked at Floretta sharply.

"I have taken his beloved. I should have been much more deserving of being the wife of the wealthy businessman than a babu like Floretta" Violetta said in her heart, envy and hatred.

"Sir Jayden, I beg for permission to take your daughter away," Alden said with a bow of respect. "I'm going to put him in a mid-city apartment with a special female servant, until our wedding day arrives" the man added.

"I'll let you, son. Later Flo's goods will be sent to follow," said Jayden excitedly, accompanied by a nod of Olive Green's head. They feel proud that a conglomerate proposed to his daughter.

"Wait a minute, Mr. Alden. Why do you have to bring him? Floretta is just a lowly girl from Junior High School. He can't accompany a successful businessman like you" protested Violetta, who had just looked up.

"You didn't hear that, did you? From the beginning I did want to pick up the sweet girl, who you said was this lowly woman," Alden replied with a cynical look.

"Miss Floretta Green, you want to be my wife, right?" alden Black asked Floretta in a soft voice and a sweet look.

"Of course not, sir." Unexpectedly, it seems Floretta actually rejected the proposal from the man who wanted all the girls in the city.

"Why not?" alden asked curiously, but his face did not show a look of anger or disappointment.

"I don't know you, sir. How can I marry you?" obviously Floretta.

"Hey, why did you say that? The golden opportunity like this will not come twice" said Olive, pinching her youngest daughter's waist.

"Hahaha, sorry Mr. Alden. This girl sometimes lacks ethics, because she doesn't go to school" Jayden said, glancing at Floretta.

"But ..."

"Already, Son. When else would you like to return the favor to this old man who raised you," Olive persuaded as she stroked Floretta's long hair.

Floretta felt uneasy about the treatment, because since childhood her mother had never treated her with such affection.

"What your mother said. If you reject it in a public place like this, it will only be a disgrace to both sides" Jayden whispered.

"Let's go, beautiful lady. We don't have any business here anymore" Alden reached out his hand to take Floretta away.

Having no other choice, Floretta was forced to go with the stranger. The party also became chaotic. The guests were busy whispering and gazing at Floretta's departure enviously.

"Why did Mom and Dad just let her go? I don't want her to have a husband richer than me" Violetta protested.

"What do you mean, Violetta? There hasn't been a day when we've been husband and wife, but you've compared me to other men?" angry David.

"Uh, that's not what I meant ..." Violetta felt wrong.

"Let him go. That man is rich. If he marries your sister, he will surely give a very big wedding gift to our family" Olive said, with a nod to Jayden's head.

...🦇🦇🦇...

"Your name is Floretta Green, right?" said Alden, looking at Flo from head to toe.

"Yes, Sir. That's my name" Floretta replied stiffly.

"Your name is beautiful and unique" said Alden. A smile was engraved on his handsome face.

"E-uh? Thank you," replied Floretta.

The girl's entire five senses could not stop being vigilant. He still put his suspicions on the man who claimed he wanted to marry her.

"Where might a successful businessman like him bother picking up an ash-upik like me? Does he want to make me a free servant? Or does he want to sell my organs? So that's why he's rich?" Floretta's mind is getting wild.

"Are you sure that's your name?" alden asked with a small grin.

"Huh? Y-yes of course that's my name, sir," Flo said reassuring the man before her. "What does he actually want, anyway? Hypnotize me before taking my kidney?" thought Floretta with fret.

"But you're more likely to be called 'my dear', 'my heart' or 'my nose', deh. Especially after we get married later," said Alden with a flat face expression, but impressed seriously.

"Eh, married?" Unknowingly, Floretta raised her voice.

"Yes, of course. You've heard it before" Alden said.

"Wait on! So you really want to marry me, sir?" ask Floretta still can't believe it.

"Did my face look like I was joking? Duh, I'm so sad to hear it," Alden said while putting on a sad face. Both ends of his eyebrows also look slightly decreased.

"Well, how could we get married. We are ..."

"Newly acquainted?" alden said, cutting Floretta's words.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why did you just get to know? People you've known for years can betray you. So knowing each other for a long time, does not mean it can be trusted," said Alden, quipped Floretta.

"Yes, the hell ..."

Although it sounded annoying, but Floretta could not deny the sentence. He and David have known each other for five years, and the last two years they have been in a special relationship.

"Just a second! How do you know that I was betrayed by my closest friends?" ask Floretta.

“Hhmm? Let's just say I have a lot of eyes and ears,” Alden replied with a small laugh.

"But still this sounds weird. Why would a wealthy Young Master like you want to marry me?" search Flo.

"I heard that you have been treated differently by your family since childhood. You also slam the bones as a waiter and a manual laborer in the garden" Alden said, raising his face, to look at Floretta more closely.

"You should be happy to be married to a rich man like me. You do not have to work hard anymore to find a mouthful of rice. All the luxuries as a socialite woman you can get just by marrying me. You definitely don't want to miss this precious opportunity, do you?" keep Alden on.

"As you said earlier, people who have been known for a long time are not necessarily trustworthy. Especially someone new to know? I don't want to fall in the same hole twice" Floretta said.

"Knowing each other is easy. We can do it after marriage" Alden said, trying to touch Floretta's fingers.

"Can't! I don't want to do it!" floretta screamed, pulling both of her hands quickly.

"Then let me get out of this apartment. It feels strange to accept all these gifts, while we have nothing to do with them" Floretta said.

"Why else, anyway? You just accept everything I give you, don't you want to?" said Alden half-stomping.

"I remind you one thing, don't ever try to leave this place without my permission, or you'll die!" threaten Alden.
