Chapter 91. Raven Black's Keen Plan

"Floretta, don't do that!"

A flash of light like lightning, penetrated through the sealed laboratory door. The whole thing that was exposed to the blue light was burning and melting. The laboratory door opened and revealed a man in black, who was grinning widely.

"Pa-prince?" floretta and Edmund said.

An alcoholic needle and cotton swab held by Edmund slipped out of his grasp. Floretta could see Edmund's left hand slightly blistered, exposed to sparks of blue light that resembled fireworks.

"No one tries to escape! Or one of you will die" threatened Raven with fiery eyes.

"Why? You're afraid all your lies have been exposed all this time? I just want to save this man, so as not to be the next victim" Edmund replied in a shrill voice.

"Don't argue with me!" The snarling sound turned into a loud snarl. Giving orders while holding back anger.

Raven again let out a blue light from her right hand. Edmund tries to avenge him, but his injured hand makes his target always misses.

"You're trying to fight me?"

Raven moves quickly to Floretta and Edmund Grey. His left leg rose, and kicked Edmund's body until it bounced away.

"Let'sah!"

Floretta screamed loudly with a deathly pale face, when she saw the incident beside her. His knees were trembling strongly, unable to support his body anymore.

Raven stomped her feet firmly on the floor, before Edmund could get up. Blue light on the floor. But this time it did not melt the surroundings, but froze. Edmund and Floretta were trapped there, because their legs were unable to move.

"Flo, you misunderstood. Everything you read is not everything. I'll explain everything, so long as you will obey me" whispered Raven softly, in Floretta's ear.

"No! You're all liars! I don't even know who to trust."

Floretta screamed in a frightened tone mixed with despair. He felt an invisible force, and made his body float in the air. The woman had lost control of her own body, as her body floated ever higher in the air.

"Pa-nge-ran."

It felt like Floretta was about to faint, when her body was dragged almost out of the door. As if nothing had happened, Raven was still staring at Edmund frozen on the laboratory floor.

"I'll let you go this time. But keep all Floretta's secrets, until the court's advisory council announces them officially. I still respect you as my little friend."

"But, I reiterate once again. If you break your promise, your entire family will be the same fate as the Dandelion Family" Raven Black said.

"Grrhhh!" Edmund growled softly without refuting.

"Flo, let's go."

Raven whispers in the princess' ear, making the woman sleep and slow. Raven swiftly caught him.

The four men walked firmly before Raven Black. They then dropped his body in front of the man, until he was in a kneeling position on the floor. Floretta who had just woken up, was astonished to see the sight. The woman could do nothing, as her body was stiff as it was controlled by invisible magic.

"It's all our fault, Your Majesty. Princess Floretta tried to escape and Her Majesty the King was seriously injured, because of our carelessness which was unable to take care of her. We are ready to accept punishment."

Leon Hazel apologizes, representing her three friends.

The man with the pale skin was silent. His red eyes lit up, staring at the guards with pus and a sharp look. Floretta could see clearly, the four kneeling men were shivering in fear.

Silence is more terrible than a snatch. That's how they all think.

Raven's firm footsteps, headed to a black sofa in the room. Highlight his eyes that were still a fiery red color were looking intensely and seriously towards the white wall to their right.

"I'm not angry with you guys. From the beginning it was my fault" said Raven. His tone had turned flat and low. His face looked sad too.

"Huh? This really? A Prince Raven apologized to the bodyguards?" the guards looked at each other.

"Flo, just so you know. Alden really loves you. I have proof" said the man again. "And I promise I'll tell you everything, right? Here's the real story" Raven added as she stared at her sister-in-law wistfully.

The man took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. His hands clenched tightly. Raven mustered her courage, to reveal the great secret she had kept since childhood.

"I used to be ostracized because I was considered savage and dangerous. I also felt that my father and mother loved Alden more. Growing up, I was afraid the throne would come down to Alden."

Raven paused her sentence for a moment. He caught his breath that felt tight. His eyes also seemed to be glazed.

"I also did a cunning thing to win the heart of my father and the palace elders. You guys know what I'm doing? Killing Aldric Blue and Zinnia Blue, aided by Jade Green and Olive Green," Raven said in a trembling voice.
