"Good morning, Your Majesty. Is Your Majesty calling me?"
Floretta met Raven, who called her early this morning. The servants had not yet exited their rooms. There were only a few guards standing guard.
"Yes, I'm calling you" replied Raven, who was still clinging to pitch-black pajamas. His disheveled hair somehow made him even more handsome. "From today on you I'll quit as my personal servant" he continued.
"Eh, why? Is it because I made a mistake yesterday, Your Majesty?" ask Floretta to feel guilty.
Raven shook her head. "Your job is done, and you also passed my test" the man explained. "From today you are officially appointed as the personal assistant of His Majesty the King. His official announcement will be spread through the palace's webiste" added the prince with an expressionless flat face.
"Well, is that right?" Floretta was still in disbelief, hearing the words of her sister-in-law.
"When did I joke with you? Shouldn't a wife be with her husband?" reply Raven. He glanced at Floretta at a glance, then turned his gaze back.
Floretta widened her eyelids, and her smile expanded. "Thank you, Your Majesty," he replied excitedly.
"Hm." Raven cleared her throat without showing her expression.
"Actually he's willing to raise my position, isn't he?" ask Floretta in your heart.
"But before you go, come with me for a moment" Raven ordered.
"Eh? Where to?" Floretta was still traumatized following Raven like back then. The last time he went to follow the vampire prince, his life almost drifted.
"Don't argue! Come on come along. I won't do anything to you" said Raven.
"Well, Your Majesty," replied Floretta. "Just if he's messing around, I'll kick his anus straight away, like that night," Floretta said in her heart.
"You don't have to do that. I told you I wouldn't do anything weird to you, Princess Floretta. I also still want to live a quiet life and marry a woman" Raven said suddenly.
"Well, right? Can you read my mind?" Floretta who was walking behind Raven was shuddering in horror.
Raven only gave a small grin, while swinging her legs down the stone stairs. It seems that the room is an old castle building.
"Eh? You brought me back here?"
Floretta is confused, as they suddenly enter the Black family's private library, which holds the prince's dark memories. They are going through a different path than before.
"Hm ... I want to give you a gift, because your work is enough to satisfy me" Raven said with a faint smile.
"Ha-gift?" repeat Floretta with a choked voice.
"Hey, don't start thinking weird again. Choose a book you like. I lent it to you, " said Raven.
"It really?" ask Floretta in doubt.
"Yes, quickly select. You can take a maximum of five books. As a condition, you must actually read it, and keep it," Raven ordered.
Floretta also picked out the book she wanted to read. Raven waited patiently for him, while playing her phone.
"I want to borrow this book, Your Majesty," said Floretta, putting five thick books on the table.
"God! Choosing a book you can't" Raven grumbled as she picked up the book Floretta had chosen, and returned it to the shelf. He left only one book on the table.
"Well, but did you say I could pick my own book?" floretta protest.
"Yes, but those books don't have the science you can take, if you have to be a future queen" Raven said. "Nih, for you. Read it right. I'll test it later," Raven said.
"Why?" asked Raven while turning her face away.
"Did the prince decide to support me as a future queen?" ask Floretta.
"Still not. I have to test you a few more times. That's why you have to study well. Because otherwise, I would have taken the throne of Alden and become a cruel king" Raven said.
Floretta smiled hearing that. "Thank you, Prince. I know the Prince is a good man. If at any time the Prince needs a friend, I will come and listen to the Prince's words" Floretta said with a seductive smile.
"What, anyway? Really lebai. I'm a cruel cold prince, I don't need friends" Raven said. "Learn well. Alden and I have also asked Aunt Jasmine to teach you how the noble princess lives here" she said.
"Now go. I want to connect to my delayed sleep. You remember the way out of here, right?" said Raven chased away the princess.
"My actions are correct, right? This is how I should be, keeping my distance from my sister's wife. I can't like it," thought Raven breathing a sigh of relief.
Bruaks! The library door was closed. Floretta just shook her head looking at it.
"God! Your Majesty! Since when are you there?" Floretta surged in shock, seeing the king standing leaning against the wall beside the library door.
"From the beginning you came here" he replied, raising his eyebrows.
"Have it been that long? Is His Majesty not sleeping? There'll be a meeting with the trade minister, right?" floretta.
"Where can I sleep if my beautiful wife is alone with my sister at dawn? Though he did not want me to take the first night, but instead wandered in the castle of a prince," Alden said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Abueh ... So this vampire king is jealous?" floretta God.
"What is jealous? I'm just worried that the queen-to-be I've been working so hard to bring from the human world has died in the prey of her own brother" Alden said, evading Floretta's accusation.
"Yes, yeah. I trust. Is it now that His Majesty the Vampire King is willing to help me bring me a book? My hands are sore." Floretta thrust the super-thick books at her husband.
"Without you asking, I'll take him, '" Alden said.
...🦇🦇🦇...
After Floretta was dismissed from the prince's personal servant, the palace situation began to change. Floretta doesn't have to wear a maid uniform and do the menial work anymore.
The gazes of the servants slowly changed as well. They rarely sneered and gossiped about Floretta. In fact, they often avoid, if accidentally cross paths with the prospective vampire queen.
Since then, Floretta has never met Prince Raven again. The man always locked himself in his room. And avoid any internal events of the palace attended by Floretta.
"The prince is really confusing, huh? If she still doesn't like me, why don't you kill me like the other women?" floretta's story to her aunt via video call.
"Auntie doesn't know the answer, Flo. But according to Auntie, this is her way of avoiding her view of you" Jasmine replied.
"Why? Is it because of my blood?"
Jasmine shakes. "From his love for you" said Jasmine. "You also reminded him of that man. He didn't want to make a mistake twice" the aunt said.
"That guy? Who do you mean Auntie?" ask Floretta.
"G ... I-it ... It's better for Raven to tell you herself," replied Jasmine stammeringly, who only realized she was lost.
