MINERVO 89: Blood Relations

The helicopter, boarded by Paul, Isabella, Cherry, and Naomi, has landed on a clearing filled with weeds. They had arrived at Swart City. Paul and the others got off the vehicle and the mentor inhaled a lot of air, as the helicopter circled through the air at a very high speed, everyone who was there was almost out of breath.

In fact, Naomi staggered as she got off the helicopter, her body looking limp and her face very pale. Cherry instead, she immediately jumped to the ground and spilled everything in her stomach onto the surface of the ground through her mouth. The point is, Cherry's vomiting. While Isabella, was walking casually by carrying two black plastic pieces, without feeling tired, dizzy, or nauseous. Maybe it was just him and the pilot, as people who were used to flying vehicles. That's impressive.

"So," Isabella said with a slanted smile, looking at Paul, Naomi, and Cherry who were busy getting drunk on the vehicle. "Which hotel will we rent? Hm? At least I want to sleep in a five-star hotel."

"Not many requests!" paul snapped after his breathing had returned to normal. "We need to save your money for other purposes!"

"Other needs?" Isabella furrowed her eyebrows, looking astonished at Paul's words. "What do you mean, Paul? What a hell, for your sexual needs, huh?"

"SILENCE!" Paul was so annoyed that his serious words were considered a joke. It's not funny, it's not funny at all. "From that! I'm thinking more about your helicopter! We will visit my house first to consult with my other students to discuss the matter of the hotel! And your helicopter will you leave here with the pilot, will you?"

"Geez, you're all right, Paul," Isabella laughed at Paul's absurd remarks. "Of course my private pilot will take my helicopter to a special place, there's no way I'm going to bring such a big vehicle to your house, right? There's no way I'm leaving my favorite helicopter here with the pilot, is there? I'm not that cruel to let a human stay in a place like this. Remember, pilots are human too, you know?"

"Anyway," Naomi began to make a very weak voice. "I want to hurry home and rest."

"Cherry too!" cherry said before the nausea returned. "Hooeeeeek!" And vomit again.

Meanwhile, in the shop, Colin was busy washing dishes with other servants in the laundry room. There, Colin was told to vent at length from an old lady's maid who kept talking about her increasingly messy household life. In response, Colin just nodded and smiled, as his hands continued to wash some dishes, glasses, and other dirty tools.

"So that's it," the old woman told Colin with a tangled look, after his long curses were over with a terrible ending. "What about your life, Colin? Ah, yea! Looks like you're the only one of my coworkers who hasn't told me your life story. No need to worry, no matter what your problem is, I will listen to it. So tell me, Colin."

"Yes! That's right, Colin!"

"You don't have to be shy!"

The other servants told each other, encouraging Colin to tell his life story that was never told to others. In shock, Colin screeched, "Why are you guys forcing me so, anyway!?"

Colin smiled bitterly, he could not refuse the requests of many people like this, let alone all of them were his co-workers, who were not much different like his own family. As a result, by venturing out, Colin tried to tell a little story of his life. Although Colin is confused which part to reveal from his life. Because to him, his life was not at all interesting and boring.

"You guys." Colin scratched the back of his head that wasn't itchy, with a slight laugh. Then, Colin's facial features became more serious than usual, and there was a sad nuance in his expression. "Right now, I live alone in a cheap apartment. Since graduating high school, I've been told by my family to find a job and live alone. I don't know, it's been kind of a tradition in my family. My brothers did too, they after graduating high school, were ordered to stay alone and find work. But, I guess, it's just a tradition, and I can go home whenever I want. But it turns out, there's something different."

"Different?"

"What makes it different?"

"What don't-don't!"

"Yes," Colin smiled as one of his friends began to predict his continuation. "When I wanted to go home for a while, wanting to meet with the family for not being able to hold back my longing, it turned out that my parents rejected me. They told me that I could not go home before I had a mansion, a vehicle, and an abundance of possessions. If I had all that, they would accept me. But, that's not what makes me sad," said Colin, his face became more moody than before. "What makes me sad is that, when I see my brothers coming home and my family accept them for who they are, hug them, chat with them, and laugh with them, she said, although my brothers did not have anything that my parents wanted, such as property and such, but they were allowed to meet the family without certain conditions that must be met. It made me, "Colin's tears were dripping straight into the dish being washed. "... hurts."

Hearing the story of Colin's life, which they had only heard for the first time, made the servants in the wash silent, sculpted, amazed by the story. It turns out that Colin, who they have known for two years, has a family life that is not harmonious. That was very surprising. Because before this, Colin had never told them about his life, even though all the servants who worked here, had told him all the problems of his life to be used as a warm conversation. But Colin, willing to be forced as he was, always rejected him subtly. And now, whether there was any wind, Colin so complied and began to dare to tell the story of his dark and painful life.

"You could say," one of the male servants responded in a cautious tone. "You're not considered by your own family, are you?"

Hearing that, Colin only smiled faintly, holding back his cries that were about to come out again. "Can't!" Colin immediately wiped his nearly dripping tears. "I can't look like this! It's because of you guys! So annoying! You have to take responsibility! Deal me tonight!"

Suddenly, all the other servants laughed and agreed to Colin's will. Looks like Colin's going to party tonight with his co-worker. Well, at least, Colin still has a family.

A family that is warmer and more comfortable than just...

...blood relation.
