MINERVO 54: Let's Pass Here, Mr

After being satisfied to get an explanation from Roswel about the disappearance of the time bracelet system in Cocoa City, now Paul wants to hear the story of the mentors of the previous era who had paused. Roswel nodded his head, signalling that he would continue the discussion about the five mentors. In polite and neat language, Roswel spoke, with his arm pointing to a photo of a male mentor, blond, white, and wearing a white coat.

"Before I proceed to my next mentor, is there anything you would like to ask me, about the First Mentor, Brandon?"

Paul stood beside the bed, because Roswel asked him so, he stepped slowly, walking to Roswel who was pointing at a photo of Brandon. When he arrived near Roswel, Paul squinted his eyelids, looking closely at Brandon's smiling face in the photo. As if a light had come on, Paul's eyes opened, in his head, and he had found a good question about Si Brandon in Roswel.

"What city is he from?"

Roswel smiled at him, and he immediately answered Paul's question in a very subtle voice. "Look on me, Brandon is from Joyza City, a special city for cat lovers, because there you can see a lot of cats scattered everywhere. But, Brandon himself, he said, did not particularly like cats. Oh, if you don't know, Joyza City is located to the north of Madelta State, Sir. Not too far from Swart City."

"Okay, I remember that damn city, which I visited on a school trip. Hmh! The cats over there are really jerks, they're just going to be nice to gentle humans, whereas in people like me, they look like hungry lions. They did not hesitate to claw, chase, roar, and pee my hair curly. So obnoxious!" Paul looked fed up when he said that. "I don't want to go to that fucking town anymore!"

Roswel only held back laughter hearing the bad experience of Paul who had been to Joyza City. Though according to Roswel, Joyza City is quite beautiful, because the places there, always decorated with a typical cat theme, no matter whether it is a restaurant, school, even a corporate office that should seem serious, it is not, in addition, the people are very friendly and smiley, the cats are adorable, and they are all docile, no stray or dirty cats, because, Joyza City Government, the, very indulgent the existence of such cute animals. And it makes cat lovers from all over the world, always vying to visit Joyza City, because for them, it is a place that deserves to be dubbed as 'Heaven'.

"Then" Roswel's forefinger began to move on to the second portrait. "We go on to the next Mentor, sir." The photo, now appointed by Roswel, is a picture of a slim, dark blue-haired girl with her hair curled. Her eyes were bright blue, and she wore a thick lipstick that was also blue in color. The clothes that the girl was wearing were quite open, she only wore lingerie; the underwear had a sexy design, similar to a bra, but had a downward channel, so it was impressed like ordinary clothes.

"What's his name?" Paul began to ask, impatiently wanting to know the name of the beautiful-faced figure emblazoned before him.

"Vailea, sir." replied Roswel responsibly, not forgetting to show off his friendly smile to Paul.

"Vailean? It doesn't seem foreign."

"Of course, you are no stranger to hearing his name, Sir. Because," Suddenly Roswel's smile became cold than usual, his voice became more serious. "Vailea met you in person when you were seven years old. And Vailea was actually the one responsible for the passing of your Father, Sir."

Both of Paul's eyes immediately widened, what was this? Did he not hear wrong? Why did Roswel suddenly talk about his father's death? Does Roswell know who his father is? It's not funny at all. After all, Paul had forgotten the grief of being abandoned by his father, and he had also been living life as usual. But why did Roswel even scrape the wound that Paul had forgotten, which had been buried for many years? Really, Paul's blood flow is heating up, his skin is somehow, sweating a lot.

Paul's gaze became sharpened, like a thug who was about to bully others. His two hands were firmly clenched, until his nails pierced his palms, so upset.

"Explain, now, everything, about this, this Vailea, to me!" In fact, Paul's intonation in response to Roswel's words, filled with tremendous pressure, his teeth were even grinding. Seeing Paul's expression change, Roswel began to understand the boy's feelings. Therefore, as much as possible, Roswel must be careful when explaining the figure of Vailea, so that later, his words, no one offends or offends Paul, because, according to Roswel, the discussion this time, there is nothing to do with Paul, so more tense than usual.

"Well, sir," said Roswel with a smile that returned as warm as before. "Vailea is a sarcastic girl, who, if she speaks, is always filled with contemptuous jokes. But, he was not a bad person, evidently, when he was assigned to look for ten heroes, he could finish it in just a matter of days. And the heroes he chose were, not carelessly, all of them extraordinary humans. In addition, Vailea also managed to become a painstaking Mentor figure. However,"

Suddenly, Roswel's warm smile vanished, replaced with a super serious expression.

"Slowly, Vailea grew tired of being a mentor, until she dared to face the Ruler to resign. Just then, the ten heroes of Vailea's guidance, were shocked to hear her decision. Then, with a heavy heart, the Ruler granted his wish, and Vailea was officially free from the pressure of being a mentor, she went back to living her life as before."

"Then?" Paul immediately asked for his continuation when he saw Roswel paused for a moment.

"Vailea works in a big company in Groen City, with your Dad. They became very close coworkers, until Vailea realized, in her heart, there was a feeling of love for the man who is your Father. As Vailea expresses her feelings, Your father subtly refuses, saying that he already has a wife and children.

Hearing that, Vailea was surprised, she could not even say anything, until finally, her anger exploded, and without full awareness, she slammed the office flower pot into your Father's head, keep slamming over and over again, until your Dad's whole body is destroyed. That's what caused your Dad to die, sir."

Roswel's smile looked wry. "And at your Father's funeral, Vailea was there, crying as she saw the body of the man she loved being put into a burrow. Vailea regretted her actions. He decided to meet you after the funeral. Back then, you were hugged by Vailea, very tightly, Sir."

"And after that? What else?" Paul again asked for his continuation, as if all that was not enough to make him satisfied.

"I'm sorry, but that's all I can say, sir," said Roswel, answering Paul's pushy request. "But if you're curious where she lives, Vailea currently lives in Groen City alone, in a modest apartment."

THE PLAQUE!

Slapping his two cheeks with his two hands, Paul shook his head like a dog wagging water from its feathers. "Sorry! Roswell!" Paul said with a look of excitement. "So I was too emotional in response to your words! But let's forget about that! And on to the Next Mentor! Hurry along! Because after this! I have to meet Abbas!"

Roswel was relieved to see the face of Paul who had improved from before. He thought, Paul would get angry and hit him, but it turns out the reality is not that bad. Roswel wanted to appeal to his judgment, who once thought Paul was still immature, when in fact, the boy was very mature.

"Well, sir," Roswel's index finger was shifted to the third portrait of five photographs attached to the wall of the room. "This is the figure of the Third Mentor I have served, after the completion of the Brandon era and the Vailea era, sir." Paul looked at a picture featuring a handsome man with pink hair, pink eyes, very white skin, and wearing a white shirt wrapped in a pink tie and suit. The man looked neat and classy, and also very handsome. "His name is Gareth, he's an overly serious, rigid, and quite sensitive person. But in doing something, Gareth is very deft and reliable.

Evidently when assigned to find ten heroes, he was really good at picking people, making his chosen heroes mostly people who had at least once earned a rank one during his school days. However, because the rules he made during the mentoring session, were too strict and binding, it made his heroes not strong to compensate. Until finally, all of his chosen heroes, resigned simultaneously. That's what made Gareth fail to be a mentor."

For some reason, after hearing Gareth's story, Paul learned to himself, so that he would not repeat the same mistakes, as Gareth had done to his heroes.

"OK, next?" paul said casually.

Roswel nodded his head, while shifting his index finger from Gareth's face to the next photo.

"Good, Sir."

Paul noticed the fourth of five portraits on the wall, which depicted a man with glasses, curly orange hair, very dark skin, darker than Abbas, and wearing a short shirt that is also orange. That figure, had a face that was not passionate, his eyes withered, and his lips pouted, like a sleepy person.

Roswel raised his voice after a short pause, "He is the fourth mentor chosen by the Sovereign, after the era of Brandon, Vailea, and Gareth, ended," Roswel sighed. "His name is Yama, he's a very lazy person, and hates anything troublesome. Therefore, Yama chose his heroes with origin, without caring if it would affect the bad good he became a mentor.

After all his heroes are found, Yama orders them to complete all the missions ordered by the Lord, while he, as a mentor, sleeps in his house instead. Of course, the Ruler did not like Yama's attitude, but strangely, when he was about to fire the lazy mentor, the ten heroes of Yama's choice, begged him not to fire their mentor. At first he was surprised, but, because the request of the Heroes seemed serious, he abandoned his intentions, and still made Yama a Mentor.

Even to the end, Yama was revered by his Heroes, until dubbed as 'God' by them. But that is not surprising, because, all the gifts that Yama got from the Ruler, because he had succeeded in becoming a mentor, were given to his heroes, without remainder. That's what makes them love Yama so much, they don't even hesitate to sacrifice their lives for the Slacker Mentor."

"That's a pretty inspiring story, Roswel," Paul held back his laughter, not expecting that there was such a shitty person like Yama in this world. "Okay, we go on to the last man."

Roswel smiled at Paul's words, he was happy because finally the boy could be entertained at Yama's story. Previously, Paul was very emotional when he heard the story of Vailea.

"Well, sir," Roswel began to move his index finger to the fifth portrait of the five photographs attached to the wall. In the portrait, a long white-haired girl, fair-skinned, her eyes closed, and wearing a black mask, covered her nose and mouth. The clothes that the girl was wearing were thick, long-sleeved woolen clothes. "The name of this girl is Eiren, a Fifth Mentor after the end of the Yama era. Eiren was a closed person, not talking much, not much expression, and not much rule. Even when the ten heroes are found, Eiren makes a policy that only contains, everything will be fine as long as you don't touch me. Really simple.

However, because of the policy he made, Eiren was often disturbed by his own heroes, they all became impressed like they were sniffing their own mentors. Teasing, teasing, and laughing at Eiren, has become a routine activity when hero meetings take place. Eiren himself did not mind that, as already written, everything would be fine as long as they did not touch it. However, one night, his heroes planned something quite depraved. They agreed to harass Eiren's body."

"Then, what happened?" Without further ado, Paul immediately asked for a follow-up as Roswel took a short breath.

"One of the male heroes, without a second thought, raped Eiren's body, while the girl was asleep. And when the incident was witnessed by other heroes, they giggled with joy at seeing his Mentor being corrupted by their own friends. That was when Eiren started to wake up and guess what happened?" Roswel developed a faint smile at Paul. "Eiren slaughtered his entire hero very sadistically, brutally, and horribly, sir. Like the policy he wrote, and if it is reversed, it will sound; all will not be well if you touch me. Thus, Sir. Eiren fails to become a mentor and is punished. But his sentence was light, he was only ordered not to breathe in a minute." Roswell chuckled for a moment. "And Eiren is still alive today, he now lives at home with Yama in Vineas City, or can I say, they have become a married couple."

Paul was wide open to hear, he did not expect that two people who had been a mentor, in a relationship to become husband and wife. In fact, the background of the two of them, according to Paul, is very different. When Yama became a figure who was adored by his heroes, while Eiren became a figure who was underestimated by his heroes, even though it was underestimated, had been slaughtered by him.

"Eiren and Yama, I don't understand how they met, but it sounds like their love story is also interesting to tell. But forget about that!" Paul began to look into Roswell's eyes. "Before, I thank you! Because you've been willing to tell the stories of my seniors! Bless it! I learned a lot of valuable lessons!" Paul's vision grew sharper. "Then can you tell me where you keep Abbas? I mean, which room is Abbas in? Get me there! I have to ask him about whether he's ready to be a hero!"

Roswel nodded his head obediently. "Well," Roswel smiled as he walked slowly toward the door. "Come, this way, sir."
